Any thoughts on putting pearls in binder vs clear coat? Im trying avoid spending another 100 on binder especially cuz i have a gallon and half of clear.
If you already have the clear then put it in the clear not that much of a difference just make sure you mix everything up really good before you spray it and while you spray it thanks for watching
@@WHITLEYAUTOWORKS Bro you're a life saver! Used 2.5 quarts of clear with 50g of colorshift pearls and top coated with the last 2.5 gallons of clear coat...almost show room! That binder would have been a waste. Keep up the good work and thanks for that advice..
Honestly it really just comes down to what you're comfortable spraying at. I personally spray closer to 60/40 but if you're new to painting with Rustoleum I would say 70/30 is perfectly fine as well
The blue ghost pearl is much more noticeable over the black than the white. I think that the black wins this round giving it the 4 and the white a 2. If I was shooting the white, I would definitely consider this blue ghost for a faint color transition. On my Suburban I would use this pearl on the things like the emblems and on the lettering. I do not want something that would stand out garishly from the Midnight Blue and the Hunt Club Green as the vehicle does not need to stand out in the forest and give its location to anyone.

3 white 5 black. I normally mark the light colors lower, they normally dont show as well on camera
