It is cushioned, but the cushions aren't soft enough.
I got on this ride back in the early 2000s I don't remember it being that bumpy.. my head was fine when I rode on it🤷🏾♂️
This ride is 25 years old this year I still love it

I rode it after it was first opened, as you walk up on it you think man that looks like a natural gas line that blew out of of a ditch. As I got closure I was like wow what a feet of engineering, cad drawing and manufacturing went into that. Once your strapped in and it starts clicking away to take you to the top you think I hope all that stuff works, then you break over top and gravity takes over!!!!!!

I went on this with my sister and there was not only nobody on it, but nobody in line. We hopped on in perfect condition and when we got off… let’s just say our minds were erased… and hurting.
This must be the fastest lift on any Vekoma SLC.

Went on this with a VR headset on and almost died then I went on original and almost broke my neck lol
My dad way back in the day when he was about 16 (he’s 36 now) he sprained his neck on this ride and had to put magnets on each side of his neck for it to heal.
Trying the VR on this ride was a terrible mistake on my part.
I'm a bit prone to nausea, and on top of it, I don't think my headset was sufficiently secured. I nearly threw up coming off the coaster.

Mind eraser is the only Vekoma SLC I have ridden on and in fact have almost never had any headaches or any type of pain ever since when I took my first ride in 1999
EXACTLY the same as the Thunderhawk at Michigan's Adventure (also built by Vekoma). Same height, loops, barrell rolls, everything! I actually looked to see if Thunderhawk was in fact was merely a revamp of one of these four operating Mind Erasers, but it turns out it was formerly called Serial Thriller and was at Geauga Lake Amusement Park
Yup. Michigan took one of Ohio's amusement park rides. I miss Geauga Lake. =(

I remember my first go on the Mind Eraser...I never could've imagined a ride so painful. I got a nosebleed, and even watching this video now, I can still feel the EXACT same pain that I felt riding it. This truly was a unique experience. Hopefully the replacement is better 💀

Even though that Vekoma SLCs can be rough but that doesn't still steal my joy riding these type of rides.
The only slc I went on was the great nor’easter and it wasn’t as rough as people say but also they also said that one isn’t that bad

We drove all the way to NJ to ride King Da Ka. First day it was closed, second it was open. We got on, blasted off, and went reverse right back down almost at the peak of the first hill. They said they were going to launch us again and this time faster but ended up just closing the ride for the day.
Is it still bad like that?

This reminds me a lot of the Gauntlet in Magic Springs in Arkansas, only this ride goes upside down a lot more times and is probably absolutely terrifying in real life. lol.
this is actually the exact same layout as the gauntlet. the height/speed/ number of upside downs are identical

I went to six flags today and got on this ride and it was scary at first but when I got on the second time time it was fun
Wow this video was 8 yrs ago this was the first coaster that I took my daughter to at six flags 2 months...even though I've risen many times I forgot how bad it hurts seriously I didn't realize my mistake until it was too late I'm pretty sure she will never ride this again.
I just went on this ride today for an 8th grade field trip, couldn't stop screaming even though I lost my voice it somehow came out.
I went on it today and it was my first roller coaster. I passed out midway and the kid behind me hit his head and started bleeding out of his nose and mouth. I hate rollercoasters.

i seriously expected a new coaster and it came ( apocalypse) but then i discovered that apocalypse had all ready been in another park and in the other six flags park(not sure witch) they created a brand NEW and ORIGINAL new coaster. so i'm pissed because thew got the new coaster and we just got a used one. if you agree thumbs up

Apocalypse was Iron Wolf at Six Flags Great America (outside Chicago). It doesn't really matter if the coasters are used, as long as they're fun.
Compact Inverted Coaster 1 is really good value.

The part that gets me is the ridiculously short brake run at the end. You go from like 60 to 0 in all of like five feet. It is WAAAAAAY too short. I understand they have limited space, but that brake run must violate some sort of OSHA regulations or something.

weird seeing it in orange and yellow, it's a reddish and blue at darien lake! hahah fun coaster though, it is very shakey though, sometimes gives me a headache. Guess that's why it's called the mind eraser, but at least there's pads protecting ur head lol
I rode it in '99 when I was 52 yrs old. All I could see was BLUE! (musta been a clear sky) and it is perfectly named I gotta say. I remember there being shoes all over the ground after...it guess better shoes that limbs ha ha.

the other day my friend asked me if i wanted to go to six flags with her and my mom said i could go and I went on all the rides my friend went on because she said well my friend said " Any rides I go on U have to go on, And any rides you want to go on but I dont I have to go on them with you " And you went on batman and mind eraser... They were SOOO scary for me but they were sooooooooo fun but they were scary because of the loops ive never been on the loops so they were scary but they were fun!

This is the same ride as The Mind Eraser in Elitch Gardens, Denver.
This ride is probably the least comfortable one here. When I went, it didn’t open until sometime after 2 and on top of that, I smacked the heel of my foot on my seat so hard it went numb for a few minutes.

I couldn’t ride this because I got an industrial piercing back in 2017 and I heard and saw it’s a pain in the ass to heal.
I am still worried about the restraints because it’s over the shoulders and it’s a rough roller coaster and the piercing probably will get injured by it

I remember going on this in 2012 summer it was a blast loved tghis ride but. A few weeks ago this being one of my favorite rides sucked so mucjh it was torture it hurt your head so much im not sure if it was because it was raining when i just recently we t but i highly dbout it hoped this helped
