6-Flags "It's Good Enough" should be their slogan. It sums up their parks very well.
Employees at Six Flags America, the park President, and Six Flags Corp need to watch this video. All of this potential going to waste.
They put that new fence around Shipwreck Falls as if they’re going to replace it. This park hasn’t received a new coaster since Batwing in 2001.
They’re going to be in even more trouble next season with kings dominion and Busch gardens adding their new 2025 coasters.
I heard Six Flags America described somewhere as "A water park with a few rides attached". Hurricane Harbor is actually pretty good. That's why they charge separately for it now. Also, those food prices don't include the insidious $1.30 per order "surcharge".

This park looks like it’s being held together with glue and tape, but as my home park, I absolutely love it. At least pre pandemic. The amount of rides and areas closed off makes me feel like they’re downsizing, which isn’t too great, but I still think there’s some good in this park, and I’ll support it for all it’s worth.

I wanna see more of these "real" vlogs of six flags parks showing the parks as they really are. With the theme park rights to the dc and looney toons properties, six flags could be so much more.

It's a near park for me and have been there a few times, all pre-pandemic. All rides were running and fairly efficient, it was mid week. The ride attendants were low energy but not rude. Kids ran from coaster to coaster all day and had a blast. Lunch wasn't too expensive for an amusement park although the food was nothing special. Not bad but nothing worth remembering. My favorite part is coming through the entrance, the view across the Main Street midway to the Flying Carousel with the gardens and fountains and old America facades was quite nice, more than I expected for a Six Flags. The Great Race Car Ride was a pleasant surprise too.

I took my nieces & nephews there a few weeks ago and had a blast! Hardly any lines at all for the few rides that were open. It was super hot outside so we spent most of the day in Hurricane Harbor.
That train segment was pure gold!
I saw another video someone posted about the park the day after you put up yours. They filmed the flat tire on the Batmobile too. 😂 I think someone from corporate saw both of your videos. LOL

@@pleasestopvlogging Sorry to break it to you but I went to Six flags America yesterday and the driver's side front tire was flat lol. Was able to ride all the coasters in just over an hour (Jokers Jinx "broke down" while I was on the ride)

You can't tell me that all that land won't be bulldozed for modern contemporary condos. That land value is ripe for the picking. With the merger, this might be its last full year of operation.
Apologies for Ragin Cajun. That was transferred from my home park SF Great America. I’m sure it’s just as painful and barfy now as it was then. I hate that ride.
six flags america ride op here- can confirm this park is very jank. also, when joker's jinx goes down, its probably because the runtime is off, and it will come back up in 5 minutes or less. if you stay in line you can probably be the first one on.
Any secrets? Like rides to be careful on or to avoid? Im going on the 20th for the 1st time in like 3 years
I LOVE How Exited You Were/Are For The Crappy Little Train! I Went To KC Union Station Recently To See A Fully Restored Steam Locomotive, And They Had A Kiddie Train Ride. Yours Was/Is A Little Bit More Real Train Less Kiddie! #AllAboard

That place has seen better days. At least you gave it a chance to shine. I would never go there.
Never been to six flags, even when i lived in PA, but heard good things on it and positive stuff, great to see Kenny doing the same Round 2 this time around.
I went here last month and for 3 nearly 4 hours there was a power outage and then staff wanted to argue when we asked for reimbursement since we didn’t get to experience hardly anything. Most of the thrill rides were closed or experienced technical issues and had to close down. Even the water park had multiple slides closed. We did end up getting reimbursed with both park tickets for another day this season but my family isn’t quite sure if we want to.
I'm not going to lie - this park isn't for everyone...
I love your review. I was in tears from laughter for a large part of this video. This is called being honest, with a sense of humor! Thanks so much! My impression of this park is pretty much the same. It is a disappointment and has been for many years.
For some reason I was expecting that train to be haulin' ass and when it finally revealed it's actual speed I almost spit out my drink XD
I could have jumped off. stood there. then lightly jogged to jump back on it. No joke at one point I thought it was slowly moving backwards.

If Six Flags lowered their food prices I think they would make more money as they would sell more food. I don’t eat at the park because it is so pricey. At least at other higher end (Cedar Point, King’s Dominion, HersheyPark, etc) parks you get higher quality food to somewhat justify that price.
Yeah I don’t mind paying more money as long as the food is good. This kind of looks like high school cafeteria food. Not the best.
My thoughts exactly? If you're gonna make food than expensive, it had better be worth the price.

@@bluegold1026 for the same money at Cedar Point, I got some of the best tasting brisket I have ever had and some top tier fries.
Right now batwing is the best coaster there. I think six flags should retrack roar or make it a rmc. And a few more flat rides in the area by Superman. (The kid section) it’s so much potential here and that area doesn’t have no good rides either

Those 4 rides are closed, on top of the two they removed by wild one. This park is sad to visit now.
Six Flags- “it’s good enough”
(un)fortunately, it's my home park. And the future of the park doesn't look great IMO. When I was there on June 25th, one train operations on everything. Looks like Shipwreck Falls is getting removed (several of those Shoot the Chutes rides have been removed in recent years).
edit: The train tracks; the "not so" scenic railway that loops around the park (you can see the wasteland that is the picnic area plus the old rusted train) only runs between 12pm-6pm on Weekends from Memorial Day/Labor Day.
my home park is Kings Dominion (and Busch Gardens) but you know what: I actually love this park, in a way 😆 and you make it fun 😜 now I think I might visit this weekend 🤷🏻♂️
It irritates me to no end how much cost cutting Six Flags is doing. Maintenance, entertainment, this place could be (or was) sooooooo much more...before they cheaped out on everything.
I've only been to six flags america twice but somehow every coaster managed to be open both times and there were no lines. I'm still glad i'm a lot closer to hershey than this park though lol
Not surprised the rides were closed in gotham the peguin is usually closed at least these rides arent as bad as the two face i had alot good times here as a kid in the early to mid 2010s sad to see it become what it is now
That Whistlestop Park area used to be themed to Thomas the Tank Engine back in 2010 and 2010 only because next year they lost the license to Thomas and it was rethemed to Whistlestop Park.
Everything is closed! That's how it was 24 years ago when I went. I figured surely they would've fixed it all up by now. Thank you for saving me and my family the disappointment!
Damm it was like that back in the day I know the two face use to give the park a lot of problems I remember when I was a kid in the 2010s it wasn't as bad as it is now

Honestly I feel like there’s a lot of patches of land in Gotham city that could use new themed rollercoasters and I’m glad they are fixing the trains to the rides and stuff but this park desperately needs new rides

That’s a THREE flags park. And there are pretty much two worthwhile rides there…Superman and Wild One.
Wow they just abandon Whistlestop Park altogether? And to think, that was Thomas Town for it's opening year before they lost the license. SMH
My 4-year-old will be so disappointed they are dismantling it.

I’m just gonna say this: Six Flags is just a regional theme park that could use some help from the Knoebels’ family. I’m just saying… Knoebels is 98 years young and in much better shape.

To everybody that is being negative about Six Flags America. Good things are coming to that Park to be honest. The first step is the all new steampunk area. The whistle stop Park is abandoned but there is something big going in the area. And also just to let y'all know the shoot, the shoots water ride that is now closed is going to be replaced by a new coaster. And if you're wondering how I know, let's just say I have my ways. Just waits till the end of August to the beginning of September to find out 🙂. I just want to say the Six Flags has been doing great things the past couple years. Compared to recent years.
I've seen on reddit before a estimation of their annual attendance. It was pre-pandemic tho. If it's true it's not anywhere near closing.
The issues aren’t isolated to Six Flags America. I went to Great Adventure yesterday and half of the rides were down for either half the day or the full day. Many rides were running 1 train. A few of them had signs stating they’d be running 12-7. Dispatch times were kinda long. The staff didn’t seem to be concerned with a lot. When we got to the park we accidentally drove down the road for the $60 preferred parking and told the attendant to ask about turning around and he just said it’s fine and shrugged his shoulders and told us to park. Lol Still had a great time with the coasters we got on but a lot could be improved.
That place is the worst. Ran by teenagers. Half the attractions are closed. Crowded with riff raff. The place flat sucks. Superman and Jokers Jinx coasters are rad, though.
Harley Quinn Spinsanity was closed the past weekend for testing by its manufacturer, Zamperla.

After seeing you videos, new to the channel and loving it😊. I wouldn't waste my time and money visiting this park. It looks clean but there are parts of the park thay is lacking in quality. Several of the rides are down. Whoever owns and runs this park should be embarrassed
Now i have not been to Six Flags America, but I have heard it being low on most ranking lists. So this is all interesting to see.
Now Kenny, if you ever decide to go to Six Flags Great America (funny how Six Flags has 2 theme parks with America in the title, isn't it?) that is my homepark and I know plenty of information on it (I am a seaosn Fright Fest employee of 8 years). So id be curious to see what you think!

The state of six flags parks across the US is just unacceptable. Great America is heinously unready for the year, Great Adventure is looking unloved and uncared for and some sections of this park just need some major investment.

Batman stunt show hasn’t happened for about 15 years now my guess is six flags don’t want to pay the insurance and the actors and all the maintenance I think it would definitely help the park but six flags has long gone away from shows altogether
$40 to park. Even Magic Kingdom is $30. Holy price hikes, Batman!

The forgot land you went by on the train was the Thomas the tank engine land that opened in 2010 and by the end of 2010 six flags dropped licensing for Thomas,wiggles, and Tony hawk and rebranded the area to its own style and that what you saw today that is no longer in use area

very odd comment to leave. What other shows did I neglect to watch? I do in fact watch the stunt shows there when they are up and operating. Which they opened later in the summer. I made a whole video about it. It wasn't operating when I made this video.

Growing up, this park and Kings Dominion were the default for family and then trips with friends. I’ll never forget the first time I went here after finally going to Disney World and I was such an insufferable s**t just making fun of queues and rides etc. Probably would have a better time if you basked in the freedom in the parking lot a little more 🫠
