    This playthrough is truly one of a kind, with insane amounts of attention to detail and the lore of the game. Should be noted that he avoided the ship log for the most part, because he wanted to solve everything himself. If you liked this video make sure to follow ‪@IsNotRetro‬ , he has multiple playthroughs which I think you guys would like!

    Just imagine Feldspar seeing another Hearthian ship for the first time in ever. Having to deal with the conflicting feelings of finally being rescued and having to go back and start living up to his legend. The hatch opens and he stops playing the harmonica, waiting. Who has finally found him? Gneiss? Gabbro? Can't be Riebeck...
    And then the rookie who wasn't even an astronaut when you left home drops out of the ship. Suitless. And slowly drifts away, suffocating.

    This playthrough is crazy observant, but this doesn't even highlight the craziness of the actual playthrough and you watch him look at the ship log and drop "Don't spoil me" and avoids reading a section to mark something on the map. This supercut playthrough is such a breath of fresh air. Each playthrough of Outer Wilds feels like a different season of a show, and this one was definitely a masterpiece.
    - The way he creates a mind map with all the information - imitating the ship log without ever using it.
    - The many coincidences that create unique situations like the reveal of the Quantum Moon, appearing randomly in orbit around Attlerock, and the sun going supernova just as the locator aligns with it.
    - The first attempt landing on the Sun Station.
    - The very unique order of progression and his theories evolving over time.
    - Breaking the fabric of space time - TWICE!
    Can't wait for Echoes of the Eye supercut to drop. ::)

    This is the most intelligent playthrough of this game I've seen (alongside sovietwomble's). He deduced things so quickly, and even found alternate solutions to many puzzles. I even learned a handful more things about this game during this playthrough..
    Excited to watch the echoes of the wild playthrough as well

    I couldn't help but to laugh out loud with the supernova discovery and the sun station landing. Hoooo boy. Brilliant. Also I love the wild walking around while spewing theories. Good stuff.

    Just finished, wow this is one of the coolest recorded playthroughs I've seen. He's got such good attention to detail. My jaw dropped when he first tried the landing on the sun station, that was insane. Glad he recorded this and thanks for the supercut! Can't wait for the echoes of the eye cut

      Honestly I've played through the game itself and also seen many supercuts in this channel, and this one showed me many game details that I had never seen before. Things like the Ash Twin project's shell actually being visible outside when all the ash runs out, the fact that Nomai's designs changed between the original vessel and the civilization they ended up making in "our" solar system, what might be kitchen appliances in the nomai houses... really impressive

    • @Blewlongmun
      @Blewlongmun 5 дней назад +2

      @@selfselected Ceiling murals is what got me, it's so subtle and there's already multiple themed designs at every warp but *of course* the Nomai would take the opportunity to do even more thematic decorating. I'm glad there's still little things to find.

    Walks around on giants deep, figures out the deal with the current by just watching the model, beelines feldspar to figure out the jellyfish, then proceeds to be grossed out by thinking that the planets core is a living entity.
    I love the way this persons mind works.
