Accidentally entering the Ash Twin Project when intending to go to the Sun Station is incredible
Honestly the same thing that happened to me originally lol
Ahhh, lord Eelis has provided me with another hit of blind outer wilds content. Thank you, I owe you my life
1:11:14 "Some quantum nonsense going on in here and I'm running out of time." A perfect summary of the game.
Excellent work on the supercut! Watching through these moments again is extremely nostalgic 😄
Excellent work on the playthrough! I was always a fan of the channel but this in particular had me hooked! This and hollow knight were easy favorites. Hope you're doing well!
This playthrough has one of my favorite quote from an OW playthrough. It didn't make this supercut (or maybe I missed it), but it's "What a cool universe. With cool planets... and also Dark Bramble."
man it sucks whenever people meet chert late in the loop because they don't talk to you after they realize they will die
9:39 - my best guess is that might've been the orbital camera crashing into PlayFrame's ship
9:40 My first guess would be that it's the timber hearth satellite bumping into the ship but I'm not sure it makes that sound
That’s my guess as well. Nothing else up there to hit him, other than the rock itself.
@@alexbalser2304 by satellite they meant an actual satellite and not the moon
@@leedlelel2373 yup
I think it was the rocket firing sound effect played many times in a short period to catch up with what looked like a small lag spike at that moment. It can't have been the satellite since that orbits the equator and he was flying over the north pole.
i think the flat "um." when the sun first goes supernova is my favorite immediate reaction i've seen in one of these supercuts
later addition, holy hell is this guy good at theorizing and figuring all this shit out. landed on the quantum moon not even an hour in. jesus.
always funny to see which puzzles people figure out instantly and which ones people struggle with, it's always different for everyone
The quantum tower on brittle hollow is consistently the most confusing thing to most people in these supercuts and I definitely took a bit to understand it but 1:47:01 was the most frustrating thing I've seen. Great edit eelis, 10/10
Happened to me too. Fell through the black hole with the tower and everything, but somehow missed the fact that it all came through with me. I did eventually figure it out, but it's an easy blind spot to have.
@@AzariahWolf I think it's mostly due to the safety feature that stops you from materializing inside the body of the chunk you fell in with. It means that the tower is usually behind you when you fall through: out of sight, out of mind.
“Let’s back up…”
One of the finest experiences to live vicariously through, even more so in a condensed format. Thanks as always!
watch time must be crazy on this channel
📈
1:06:50 Wait so he used the teleporter at the moment the tower was aligned with the planet TWICE IN A ROW ??? What are the odds lmao
Some of those were very close, it might be a bug. Unless that second time was so perfect that he had time to go back and forth twice?
EDIT: Nevermind, I remembered wrong, the edits are messing with my idea of time. Since it doesn't happen at any other time, it's probably not a bug. The first time was a big coincidence, but twice is crazy!
I think I used the ATP teleporter in one of the first few loops in my first run of this by accident, I’ve seen it happen to others but not very often. It almost ruined the experience for me knowing things from there so early.
I thought you had to go back to school and I would finally be free. Now I have another hit of cocaine-dopamine in supercut playthrough form.
HOLY SHIT, THE PLAYTHROUGH THAT INTRODUCED ME TO OUTER WILDS
YAY!! This was the let's play that originally convinced me to play after a few eps, can't wait! Love Dan and PlayFrame and y'all should definitely check out his other series if you like this one!
I’ll second that statement, Dan is great.
Is this man Dan or are you referring to Nerd3? I highly recommend his series if you haven't seen it.
@@Blewlongmunindeed, this is a Dan also, Dan Floyd to be specific. Though some could make a good, convincing case that he is, in fact, *The* Dan.
It was honestly a blessing that he took a break from this series after episode 3, I would have just kept watching instead of playing myself if he kept making them
Eelis introduced me to Outer Wilds and it has quickly become one of my favorite games. Thank you for what you do!
This one is actually the playthrough that exposed me to Outer Wilds! Happy to have the excuse to revisit it now that I've seen the full game.
Eelis pumping out new cuts as soon as I start wanting another.
27:00 what the heck I didn't know about this
It's incredible how much stuff there is to discover in the game, even after a dozen playthroughs. It makes me appreciate every little detail even more. Seeing someone marvel at this gorgeous experience for the first time is one of the best feelings, not unlike watching your child getting to experience the wonders of the world.
Oh no he’s a signalscope ignorer 😭
At 9:38, maybe it was the orbiting satellite that hit his spaceship? Otherwise theres nothing else around that could make a sound like that
I was thinking maybe the probe launched by the orbital probe cannon hit nearby somehow? I know it fires out randomly. I have no idea 😂
8:00 I think this is the first time I have seen this happen through the map, pretty neat tbh
Ah yes, another new traveler to hitch my wagon to. Please take me on this adventure again, new and old friend.
I may have watched the original series, but I'm definitely watching again.
9:45 As far as I know the lava balls from the lantern are entirely simulated, Brittle Hollow looks pretty close, I wonder if it managed to ping one off at Timber Hearth right at the beginning.
1:59:48 I love that after a dozen or so watchthroughs I still see new stuff from this game, I didn't know the quantum moon had it's own reset screen!
@@BlewlongmunThat effect is actually the OLD out-of-range reset screen. But ironically enough, Mobius just so happened to update the visuals mid-way through my first playthrough of OW, and the first time I saw the new square-shape reset screen was on the Quantum Moon. So, I thought the exact same thing as you, just the other way around lol!
I doubt that's close enough. It's likely the "postcards from orbit" satellite which orbits Timber Hearth in a pretty low orbit.
9:38 that was not the sound of the satellite, I've bumped into it before and it does not sound like that, that was an explosion, my best guess was one of the hollow's lantern's meteorites somehow landing on timber heart
Maybe the quoom jostled one loose? Idk about collisions between meteors and other, non-Brittle Hollow geometry, most astroobjects just clip through each other at distance
9:40 If I had to guess, that would be the sound of the little satellite thing that orbits Timer Hearth. (The one connected to the "Postcards from orbit" right beneath the launchpad.) Could be that he just passed close enough to hear the exhaust or it crashed into his ship.
9:39 sound could be the the scout in orbit colliding with the ship? thats all i got
1:16:36 "It seems if you get too close to it then you just get pulled right in."
Correct, this is due to the fact that the acceleration due to gravity from the sun is inversely proportional to the square of the distance to the sun, plus the fact that your ship has a fixed maximum acceleration. The force from the gravity of the sun gets higher than what your thrusters can counter once you are close enough.
Fun fact, while the sun's gravity (and gravity in real life) obeys the inverse square law, most other planets in Outer Wilds use a linear inverse law (1/r² vs 1/r).
@@TlalocTemporalthe attlerock is one exception specifically so the balls can move on their own
Absolute MADLAD still cranking out these banger supercuts
*play cycle wakeup after suffocation sound* ahhh another blind outer wilds playthrough, eelis doing the good work
Uploaded 3 minutes ago yet already made the remainder of my day's minutes a lot better, love to watch these, thank you so much for the work!
I take this stuff like crack. Watching others go blindly into Outer Wilds just hits different.
1:21:00 aHHH..Thinking he cant go that way even though it is the sun station...only to stumble into ash twin instead. Wow...
First time I've seen someone accidentally stumble on the Fig backers satellite. It's very hard to find.
eelis coming in clutch once again, and right when I have time to spend
26:00 yo i never saw that that's cool !
same, this game keeps throwing new stuff at us lol
32:30 i never noticed this hole before, thats a good shortcut to the city part
Dan's laugh is amazing
Eelis, how are you doing this?! How do you keep putting these together?! We are so so thankful, but man if you need to take a break, do it. This crazy! But thank you dude!
You always manage to put one of these out right before one of my med exams, these really do make for the perfect thing to keep on in the background while i study! Thank you so much for making these!
i feel as if i've been saying this on every video but thank you so much for these, never fails to make my day
You are an absolute saint for these supercuts, i cannot heap enough praise
I would say any order is great except very few ones, like for example an experience killer for me is when someone enters the ash twin proyect/figure out dark bramble/ find the probe tracking module very early, besides those 3 lore heavy places i like every path, but also the game is very brave to let some people have a worse experience because randomness or stuborness, truly a gem.
Yeeeees I love Playframe's playthrough
WE STAN EELIS
I love that RUclips periodically reminds me that these are being collected. This was another thoroughly enjoyed supercut, thank you.
Oh boy! Another blind playthrough to live vicariously through.
9:38 I believe the satelite orbiting Timber Hearth might have collided with his ship?
Thank You!
I love these!
It's so nice of you to make these ¦3
holy cow ive been watching these supercuts so much so excited for another one
Atrioc is about to play outerwilds any day now
Its an interesting playthrough... but hes brute forcing his way through everything so I'll give him credit. He even landed on the sun station manually very early on
i remember when these used to get views in the 300s. Well deserved good sir!
Time for a supercut and Marshmallows, and I'm all out of Marshmallows :/
Been waiting for this supercut. One of my favorites!
Yeaaaaaaah. Time to feed from the emotions of a new playthrough ::D
At 9:38 the sound affect is likely the atmospheric entry sound played very briefly because of him being at the edge of the atmosphere making it sound like a explosion
Don't worry, focus on your school and don't put too much pressure on yourself to get more videos, the day they arrive will be a good time, no matter when c:
Ayyy, playframe is of my favorite youtubers! Thanks for making these.
Best vids on RUclips plz keep making Supercuts 🙏❤️
Thank you so much for making these Supercuts!
I will never get tired of watching blind playthroughs of this game. If I could wish for anything, getting to experience Outer Wilds for the first time again would definitely one of them.
Yay, another of my favorite OW playthrough gets featured! Yeeeesssssss!
Curses. Clicked this video but turned off pc since u uploaded just as I go to sleep. Now mobile RUclips seems to refuse to play this video. Gaaah. Looks like I'm watching another banger tomorrow
1:15:43 Eelis, you trickster. You knew that edit would catch some people out right? I was so tense about the angler fish that the transition to the loud supernova made me jump.
Thank you our lord eelis, for these supercuts
EEEEEE yes i loved this playthrough and playframe thank uuu
45:55 "hahahahahaaaa -- crap." LMAO
thaks for the help on making us able to re-live this game
Our lord and savior eelis has returned with more goods. Thank you my good sir, thank you.
thank you Eelis
Blessed be Saint Eelis! Another prayer answered!
You are my hero Eelis 🙏
could you include the whole morning bit after the credits in the future, please? it's short and it's so pretty, i just think it'd be nice to have in full at the end of each supercut. thanks a ton for doing these btw!!
Whenever quantum moon is in view and there is a cut i get shooked 😅
9:39 is the archivement when you bonke with Timber heart satelite
9:40 could be a meteroid of Hollows Lantern managing to reach Timber Hearth
9:38 think he got hit by the Timber Hearth Satellite.
The good god(ess) Eelis has provided another supercut for us to consume!
Love this! Would you do this to other games of this kind? Discovery/mystery box games you could really only play once like this, Subnautica, etc. I love seeing other people's playthroughs because it's the only way you can experience this type of games again.
he has. He has videos for Obra Din and Tunic.
DJ Eelis! Another one
Man, I'm supposed to be working right now
TODAYS A GOOD DAY
I was wondering when you'd get around to this one!
LETS GOOOOO!!!! ANOTHER ONE LETS GOOO
thanks
0:37 "Whats that"
LETS DO THIS
The sound at the beginning in timber hearth was probably the satellite that orbits the planet
We once again meet together to watch one dude play a cool video game
Eelis, I love you.
Omg do you think that sound was the camera satellite hitting the ship and exploding?
first projection stone INSIDE hollows lantern is a wildcard man
9:41 - Is it possible the photography satellite crashed into the side of his ship?
Regarding the sound at 9:40, my best guess is the random trajectory of the probe just launched it on Timber Hearth
Nah, too late for that, it would hit Timber Hearth right around the time you take off. People have had the ship obliterated by the prode right in front of them as they were going to launch.
Also, Dan watches the probe fly off the orbital disk, nowhere near Timber Hearth.
yaaay
let's go !!!!!!!!!!!! Outer Wilds fans, I salute you.
Ohhhhh the reaching the ATP that "early"is cool !
Not sure if you are aware already, there is also IsNotRetro that made a Lets Play of both the base game and the DLC.
Wonder if you’ll be doing gura’s outer wilds play through
