The cheapest model is the one that actually makes sense, especially for people in Europe. I spent a lot of time analyzing it, and also ordered the cheapest model. The upgrades are very costly, and it costs an outrageous amount of money to get the 32GB RAM variant, which is basically the only meaningful configuration change. And for that outrageous amount of money (2500 EUR here), you don't get any other upgrades, no OLED screen, no higher tear CPU, nothing. Not to mention that it still remains an experimental hardware platform at best. Finally, in the 13 inch variant the Plus and Elite CPU supposedly performs similarly due to thermal constraints. Just get the cheapest, and replace the crappy SSD with a 2TB one. Then, if there is a better version later, or Intel Meteor Lake refresh or Lunar Lake or AMD Strix Point turns out to be amazing, you lose much less.
Windows can have the best upgrade of its hardware but still fall behind in the software development. Mac OS just feel so polished and smooth because of how they handle their UI are using GPU acceleration and not 2D rendering
Hard certain test they are destroying the x elite platform by sharing that the performances in video edition are disastrous it seems. Can you confirm it? Maybe they use emulation? Thank you
that why Mac being proof as the one group that better than Intel and Samsung even amd Not one of them uses their own OS unless it Apple HP DELL MSI they are not full on laptop sellers ( AMD close to make their own Laptop fully - sadly Windows 11 is not AMD own OS sadly Apple won in laptop side as none of their Parts are from intel amd even MSI I would buy a macbook pro but my goal is to get one new when the M4 comes out because M3 becoming old
Game changing in what context? ARM beats itself to death running x86 and quickly throttles with gpu operations. Get a lower cost Zenbook 14 with 155U and call it a day. Even better battery life and no x86 issues. Also works better for emulation. You are using emulators that are made for x86 and THEN being emulated by ARM.

I'm so torn between this and a macbook air m3. How long will it take until most apps get native support for arm?
This wouldbe great if it can have HDMI port ... as hdmi should as big as USB A port...
It sounds like you've not actually used a new Surface Pro though? Kinda weird how many opinions you have on a product you haven't used.
Will you review the new iPad Pro and Air?
nice seeing your perspective on these new snapdragon windows laptops but CS with the trackpad? 💀 hope for more vids soon!
I also wonder if Windows 12 will have a true Ipad competitive tablet mode. I agree tablet use on Windows 11 is not great at all.
Don't get why these cost $1,000+.
Two words: Qualcomm tax
@@adarsh.hatwar No. Microsoft Tax. How would it look if Copilot+ was exclusive to cheap laptops?
Silicon is about 150 dollars only.
It's a psychological pricing from the brands so that you never feel it is a bad product! Which it could be and couldn't be!
surface lineup always expensive
So like if i put it it 1440p and games in low settings i can get like 100 fps good enough for me
Daniel new to the channel.I've had,Dell, Microsoft and Lenovo so here checking out everyone's thoughts. Thanks for sharing.💯✌️
the surface is the best of both worlds. and it just looks cooler
Hard certain test they are destroying the x elite platform by sharing that the performances in video edition are disastrous it seems. Can you confirm it? Maybe they use emulation? Thank you
10:20 Are you playing CS with a touchpad? O.o
You should've tried indie games
Please checkout eGPU with snapdragon laptops
How does it fare playing UHD video?
Gaming test help me a lot
wow! lot of insights for me
The cheapest is 999$? On Qualcomm are fools
It’s a free market, prices will change depending on demand. Also, Qualcomm will bring a (much) lower price variant next year.
It's a first launch so it's fairly priced. Apple sells their Macbook Air for $1099 with 8GB of RAM lol
@@fightnight14 Laptops with Snapdragon have been around for a while... And Macbooks don't sucks
@@MauriBT This is the first real launch. Not even close to the trainwreck ones before
that why Mac being proof as the one group that better than Intel and Samsung even amd
Not one of them uses their own OS unless it Apple
HP DELL MSI they are not full on laptop sellers ( AMD close to make their own Laptop fully - sadly Windows 11 is not AMD own OS
sadly Apple won in laptop side as none of their Parts are from intel amd even MSI
I would buy a macbook pro but my goal is to get one new when the M4 comes out because M3 becoming old
SILVER IS BORING
Game changing in what context? ARM beats itself to death running x86 and quickly throttles with gpu operations. Get a lower cost Zenbook 14 with 155U and call it a day. Even better battery life and no x86 issues. Also works better for emulation. You are using emulators that are made for x86 and THEN being emulated by ARM.
In short: if u want the slowest tablet
