    Im late to the party on this one Trevor ... great tips ... Where on the club face are you hitting the ball ... are you still getting close to center strikes or are the strikes favored more on the toe ... my problem is all my strikes favor the toe .. even when I open the club up ...

    • @tsgolf
      @tsgolf  3 месяца назад +1

      So on this specific shot I was trying to hit it off the toe. If you are struggling with toe strikes, check to see if you are taking the club to far outside the arc on the backswing. That’s where I see a lot of toe shots come in. Happy to help explain if you’d like.
      Here is a free consultation call if you’d like to discuss! I’d be happy to explain over a call:

    what if u wanna hit it high off a super tight into the grain and soggy lie with a lob wedge? i feel like there is literally no margin for error. even with a wide open face it would still dig

    • @tsgolf
      @tsgolf  3 месяца назад +2

      Wet lies and into the grain Bermuda have no margin for error. If it’s a tight lie I still use this method and change the release pattern to the finish (grip handle will point to the ground faster after hitting the shot)

  • @Dreama40
    @Dreama40 14 дней назад +1

    Quick question, as it's a tight lie are you hitting ball first with a slight divot post impact or are you using some bounce in this shot? (To me it looks like your hitting down on it with a little pressure and squeeze on the ball with a bit of forward shaft lean and slight divot, that's the intention, yeah?)

    • @tsgolf
      @tsgolf  14 дней назад +2

      Definitely ball first here! I think the majority of need to focus on ball first before we get into specialty shots like grounding out behind the exposing the bounce. I still like the bounce exposed but would recommend ball first contact.
      Hope this helps and thanks for the comment!

    Do you need to open or close the clubface do to the nature of the club being more vertical, or set it square to target?

    • @tsgolf
      @tsgolf  Год назад +2

      I would start more neutral to begin but you can play this type of shot w/ open, square and closed (lofted up and down)

    Is this technique used for each club from 58/54/50 and that just changes trajectory/roll out?
    And what type of shot do you want the more heal interaction.
    The addiction to yiur videos is real. Thank you for all your personal attention.

    • @tsgolf
      @tsgolf  4 месяца назад +2

      So this shot is for contact mostly and contact point is slightly toe based. This is so the toe can slide under the ball. The Tran will have to do with length speed and accent angle/ release pattern.
      Only place I use the heel first for turf interaction is buried lies in the rough (open the face and get the heel in there)

    "Get now" remains "grayed out" when I attempt to "get now" when signing up. This "closed stance" thing for short game shots has popped up several times lately for me, especially with bunker shots. Was hoping to see what you had to say about "spine angle" in your "set up" video, maybe for both short game and full shots.
