How do you measure for the openings on the veneer before cutting?

Full face on the white is a good move. Not sure if this is painted veneer product or a laminate/thermofoil but I didn't see any prep for the outside corners to protect from router bit burning up the side panel. Also the dude with the file looks like it was his first time. I would like to see close ups of those finished corners and edges. My guess is not real clean upon close inspection. The chance of a DIY homeowner doing this with success is slim to none.

What kind of router are you using, looks like it is offset to reach in corners?

just wondering, How do you route out the veneer when you lay the sheet below the countertop or in a corner? like places the router cant get too. Do you just file it down? or what is the best way to deal with that?

For tough corners you can use a razor blade, you can use the inside blade from your veneer cutter as well.
