Use it for stuffing in larger plushies. Add some polyfill and then the scraps, then top up with polyfill (i.e. contain them to the centre). You shouldn't have an issue with them popping out 😊
For yarn scraps - I give myself permission to keep blacks and pinks or any color I would use for accents. So I have all my black and pinks for blush or stitched eyes and any other scraps go to the trash Longerish scraps I’ve seen used for scrap snakes and that seems like a fun project (maybe at the end of every year, you have a snake with pieces of all your projects from the year)
Yes I keep those colors too! Especially since I embroider all my eyes and half the time it’s just knotted yarn. If it’s a decent size I definitely hang onto it Incase I could use it!
I feel you!! It's so hard to let little pieces of yarn go! I have a jar full of them lol
