You can donate the yarn to nursing homes/senior centers (they usually have residents who knit/crochet), elementary school art classes usually need materials too.I also look for second hand art stores in my area. Great video!
Oh my gosh, I love this idea!! I will have to make some phone calls today and see if any are in need - I want the yarn to go to someone in need and not a place that will mark it up like crazy haha
I have adhd and I appreciate you showing me how to organize yarn 🙆🏻♀️ I’ve been having a hard time going to my craft room because it’s getting really overwhelming. I think todays the day I’ll organize my craft room 😅
I have ADHD too and find it sooo hard to stay organized also! I can never seem to find a system that actually works for me haha 😅 But I love that this video gave you some ideas, makes me so happy I'm not alone in the adhd organization struggle lol!
Thank you so much!! I'm feeling so much better when I look at them now haha! I've been going back and fourth with either donating it locally to a thrift store or maybe some yarn stores who do classes. or maybe trying to see if any of my followers will like it! 😅
I'm so happy Chuck introduced me to your channel! I love your vibe and you're so relatable. I'm the exact same way in regards to textures, also A(u)DHD, and on Lexapro 🤣. Thank you for putting a smile on my face on a rough day!
omg this comment made my day!! I'm so happy you found me through them and love my content! Thank you so much for the support, it means so much to me! It also always makes me feel so much better to have fellow ADHD friends on here haha! My craft room is always a hot mess thanks to my adhd 😂
I’ve been finding projects that use yarn that I already have and if I see another pattern I like but don’t have yarn for I put it an a separate file folder and put it aside. There’s also new yarn coming out so I feel like I’m not really missing out
I agree with your opinion on the diy glow yarn. I gotta remind myself it's not soft don't touch when I see it in stores cause I also have sensory ick issues
I got that gorgeous purple Universe XL for Black Friday last year, and I don't know if you'd be interested in this (I also just checked and the colorway is currently sold out, so sorry for that), but I double stranded it with Hobbii Horizon in the colorway Thunder, and it was a perfect combination and made the Universe yarn much more cozy! That aside, I love this yarn stash management. I love how realistic you are about what you will actually use, and how small and tidy your stash is. Goals.
I really need to do this too lol. I have so much yarn that I kind of liked and bought on sale, only to realize I don't really like it or the colours. Might be my next project lol
omg SAME. I do that all the time too! 😅 I've been trying super hard not to anymore but I used to be much worse with it! Been trying so hard lately to only buy if I have a plan that can be started like asap lol!
I like using yarn i get from the marketplace or offerup. I have been challenging myself to only use that yarn and figure colors that go together to make beanies n stuff. So i would say sell it or donate it online!! 😃 Thrift stores mark up too much
That's such a wonderful idea!! I've been thinking the same thing about thrift stores (especially ones like good will/savers!) So I keep going back and fourth with where to take it all haha!
I actually was thinking about this also as an option!! I'm trying to figure out how I would do this though, as I am only used to selling things through Etsy! 😅
Etsy might tbf work for that as well! But with how large of a cut they take, I'm not sure what the price would end up looking like 😅 I'm super interested in those yarns! I am a fan of hobbii yarn in all forms, and many of the non-hobbii skeins you put in the bins are ones that are unavaiable in northern Europe 😊 @@nessasknots

Wow, whoever receives that bin of yarn is so lucky! Your shelves look great!

The live laugh lexapro sign is so funny
hahaha thank you!!
i love your lexapro sign❤
haha thank you!! I started crocheting for my mental health so when I saw that pattern it felt so fitting 🤣
I totally get the love for the hand dyed yarn. It's just so much more fun to work with. Also that pipe cleaner type yarn is pronounced "sh-e-neil"
The hand dyed yarn is always so nice and soft! 😍
I really should be doing this as well, but I always manage to convince myself to get that "new, fancy yarn" (that I don't even have a plan for) 😅
I've been trying SO hard lately to only buy when I have a plan, because I would do the same thing!! 😅
It's so hard to keep my fingers to my stash! 😂

Same!! I have to be so careful because I get the ick sooo easy with certain yarns 😂😂

I'm using up my small balls of yarn and making granny squares for a blanket
LOVE this idea!! I have some left overs I've saved and I'm thinking of doing a scrap project with!

I hope not rude ro ask, however, if people were willing to pay for shipping, would you be open to sending to followers?

@@moonmakes Sooo true, I'm trying to set up a website currently to move away from Etsy because the fees are insane!!
So I’d be very happy to come take some of the Hobbii away from you. I’m not super far in mass
