I ride a VLX 600 Shadow. I did install a tank from a 750 Aero that I got from a friend on a Honda forum along with the electrical speedometer gearbox that actually fit on the VLX. I removed the original speedometer and rewired all the lights in the tank mounted speedometer The original seat didn't sit so I made a solo seat, and a larger more cushy seat for my wife built over an original seat plate I got from another friend online.

People in America are ridiculous with what they consider entry or mid level. This bike is faster than anyone could ever need on the road. It can pass at highway speeds if needed and accelerate faster than any normal car on the road. Also, it's very cheap and cruisers are just meant for you to sit back and enjoy the ride anyways.

Nope I'm 5-8 with long legs and a girl and I totally regret the 09 750cc Shadow Aero I bought a few days ago. I'm going to trade it in it's a billy goat very slow not good for a freeway and the fenders and most of the Chrome is plastic when I go in 5th gear it pains me because of how slow it is it pushes too hard at 70, I had a low mile mint condition older bike with smaller Motor a vt700c that had more power then this bike, don't go any lower than 1100cc for your size, it's not scary big but it'll get you out of a pinched fast if you're more seasoned go with a 1400 don't let anyone talk you into the 950cc they're not much better. I've owned a few Hondas and this one I regret the most. If they let me drive it before purchase it would have never left the dealership lot. And the seat is uncomfortable after 20 minutes of riding.
@@amyraucher906 as someone that's rode for many years, the shadows are incredible. They arent weak or too small. Are you in Skagit Co by chance lol looks familiar
Hey does anybody know what wind shield that is
Why does it have a choke lever if it's fuel injected?
Kenneth Richardson it’s got a 34 mm carburetor.
It's not fuel injected dipshit
I'm not a heavy guy I'm like 150-160 lbs but I'm 6 feet tall. Would this be comfortable for a taller person ? I'm all legs LOL
I've had sports bikes and big harleys and retro cafe style bikes, and I can honestly say shadows are one of my favorite bikes ever. Either you dont have the riding experience to ride it efficiently or there was something wrong with yours. My shadow 600 would hit 90mph easy and top out at 105. My shadow 750 will do the same thing. Also keep in mind that I'm a 6ft1 and 195 lbs man. Plenty of comfort while on it. Certainly enough power for hitting the highways.
I had my Harley’s in my fortes I’m almost in my sixty’s and own a 750 shadow 04 great bike very smooth and reliable
Just bought one!
Do you wear dentures?
Its a not a load engine. But still a good sound
I just pick on up this my first bike
Hey man don’t diss on the grom 😂 they are serious machines and they command respect
But seriously they are pretty fun, I’ve got a shadow spirit 750 I’m rebuilding but I kinda like zipping around on my friend’s grom too
Why do you get close to the center yellow line? Why not stay in the middle of the lane?
Chris L He’s riding in the dry part of the lane. You don’t want to ride in the middle of the lane on a bike when the roads are wet.
That’s where all of the oil from cars & trucks are at.
Close to the line is a basic rule of riding. Helps people see you. Avoids shit in the middle of lane. Most traction. Etc
I have that bike. Did I see you throttle blip? You can do that on a cruiser?
Would this be comfortable enough for a 6’3” guy to ride without feeling like a gorilla on a skateboard?
"normal business time"...
Folk calls him at 11:30 pm.
where is this place man
manheim PA
The needle on the gauge flicks, and it's really disturbing ;-;
Mine has no tech o meter lol
560lb bike isn't exactly very light.
+Robert Brumley feels lite
I knew what you meant lol I have a Vulcan 900 Classic LT that weighs 617 Lbs. Don't notice the weight till I stop sometimes. Cruising I would never tell it weighs that much.
Can you ship to Ireland?
Shit I have a 900 and I'm going to be buying one of these because they're comfortable nice and cheap plus sound good af lol
If you could just breath a little less into the micropohne the commentary would be appreciated x.x
Why do you breathe so heavy
JLan0904 he likes air nigga damn
Sometimes wind makes it hard to breath
Quit smacking your lips!!!!!!
I'm 6 ft with my shoes on, and I looked like a gorilla on the 750. Loved the bike tho.
Ryan Walker damn really?? I’m 6’2” and was strongly considering this bike. Seems like every bike I sit on looks like a pocket bike 🤦♂️
@@MrYATHATSMYNAME I could have used a set of forward controls. I didn't feel cramped, but my knees were definitely higher than my hips. Just sit on a couple different bikes and see how they feel. The Vulcan 900 is supposed to be better for taller people.
@@MrYATHATSMYNAME I'm 6ft tall and ride a little moped I look like an orangutan on it
meth is a crazy drug
i dont know what i said in this video to evoke this comment but Im sure meth is a crazy drug lol
