I have a bottle of buffalo trace bourbon cream and a bottle of jack I'm going to give this a try ! Looks like a nice Sunday night around the fire pit drink !
Sounds like a great little drink, I'd have been worried that the Jack would overpower the Cream. Have you tried the bourbon cream from Buffalo trace? might blend well in the cocktail.
That is a good question. I would think that it does have an affect based on the type of whiskey in the cream. For example Baileys is lighter because of the Jameson base.
The alcohol that I will never touch again is Smirnoff watermelon or any Smirnoff for that matter. 🤣 Back when I was in college I went to a bonfire with these twins I woukd hang out with. Had too many shots of the watermelon Smirnoff and got black out drunk. I only remember getting part way back to my dorm that night. The twins had go carry me back to my room and because we were on camera on the way to the dorm, they called the ambulance and I woke up in the hospital. 😭🤣
My bad liquor memory would be drinking Jose Cuervo (the square bottle...) out of the bottle. I woke up in somebody's backyard a couple of hours later 🤣
@@boozeontherocks we’ve got a great one here by Starward called the Two-Fold, I’ve not tried any others, I’m a new convert to whisky. An Irish could also be good, maybe Jameson Black Barrel
I was for sure you were going with the bartenders cocaine as your garnish! Super easy with just two ingredients I can't imagine this being bad at all. Cheers!
Yup Jack is on of those for me a s well slowly re appreciating it.
A little bit at a time.....
Simple yet delicious looking dessert cocktail
nice and easy, You can''t go wrong.
Sometimes, when you want to relax, a simple cocktail is the perfect choice.
Thanks, Dave.
That it is Ray,
This reminds me I never replaced my bottle of Jack. It rare to see a Jack recipe except on Steve’s channel. Lol.
You will see a few from me. We will bring it back, one cocktail at a time.
@@boozeontherocks fight the good fight!
This one I can get behind!
I'll make you one when I see you.

Gin. College. 40 years later I still can’t look at it or consider drinking it!
Thanks for the reminder about Jack...I’m going to try Jack Knife.
Thank you. Please let me know what you think.

Looks good, David!!
Thank you very much Christine :)
@@boozeontherocks You are so welcome!! Hope all is well!! :-)
Jd on the rocks is best
That is a good one for sure
Nice one! Looks delightful! 👍🏼
Thank you very much. It is really good.
Could you make a recipe out of Jack Daniels winter Jack?
Let me see If I can find a bottle.
Sounds like a great little drink, I'd have been worried that the Jack would overpower the Cream. Have you tried the bourbon cream from Buffalo trace? might blend well in the cocktail.
I have not, but I would like to.
Many great evenings start with "We drank way to much Jack....and ran through the cornfield" Salud!
That they did,
Love that
Will it be also good with Creme Caramel or Mint Chocolate? I only have these types of Bailey's.
I would say test it out. The Creme Caramel might be best, Bit you could make a small amount of both to test it.
Sounds tasty. I wonder how much (if at all) the whiskey base of the cream liqueur affects it.
That is a good question. I would think that it does have an affect based on the type of whiskey in the cream. For example Baileys is lighter because of the Jameson base.
Jack's friends Jim and Johnny would taste good also. i wonder about Southern Comforth?
Jim and Johnny, I Southern Comfort would be an Interesting choice.
, Great vid
Thank you.

Now that is a lot of Smirnoff.
I haven't cracked out a bottle of Baileys since 2010! 😂🙈 Haha, Might have to for old times sake...! Simplicity is always the best though!
Simple is best especially after a long day.
C"mon Steve, don'l let your Irish cream bottle feel ignored.
Jack honey with Bailey’s for the ladies. “Jack knife honey” 🥃
That does sound good :)
Oh Boy, I am sure I will love this one. :@) Cheers!
II hope you like. it.

gah. That's a rough one. How long did it take you to figure out where you were?
@@boozeontherocks Probably not that long, I'm pretty good on autopilot 😄
Have you tried a brandy and baileys 👌
I have not, but I should definitely try it out
@@boozeontherocks try it with Hennessy brandy , it's a irish thing we do here🇨🇮😅👍
@@alexdevlin-c8n Will do. What are the specs?
A single brandy to as much baileys as you like, Enjoy 👍
Add coco bitters and vanilla extract
That is a good idea.
Ooh what about honey jack?? Take that dessert aspect and double down on it!
I could work with that. Its nice and sweet. It would work really well. The ideas ....
@@boozeontherocks Infinite variety haha!
My 22nd birthday. I drank 2 handles of jack with my best friend. Didn't touch it again for a year
That would definitely do it.
@@boozeontherocks yeah it was fun but the next 2 days on the toilet made me rethink like fe choices
Did you say you can use Bailey's???
Hi Carol. You definitely can add Baileys.
What about 2oz of JD, 1oz blended scotch and 1oz of fresh cream?
That would be an interesting match. DO you have a suggestion on the blended Scotch?

Yes! This sounds very nice. It would add another level of complexity

i did think about it and it would great a nice overall spiciness. i wanted some color though and that's why I went for for the lime twist..
Southern Comfort, still can’t smell it, let alone drink it!
...your not alone there ... for many it was so co ...
Southern Comfort huh? I have not tried that one yet.
@@boozeontherocks seriously!? You’ve never tried it?
@will gaukler You too?
@@NicholasFiennes It was just one of those things i never tried. But I will soon,
Use honey JD with this recipe next time.
I will definitely try that, thank you.
I flat out wont touch vodka...16 and screwdrivers broke me. No thanks
I don't blame you.
Aftershock smh
That's a good idea.
A lime twist just for color? Seriously bro?? That totally changes the cocktail's balance! YUCK
I can see why you would say that. it makes sense. What would you suggest as a garnish?
@@boozeontherocks Perhaps fresh ground nutmeg or a cinnamon stick😊
@@neogeoriffic I will definitely keep that in mind. Thank you.
