@@acornflake5074 Dude's a fantastic actor who has had years to rehearse playing the exasperated, unimposing and soft-spoken witness, because he knew that would play well.
I think they had a very mutually destructive, entropic relationship, in which they were both physically and emotionally abusive towards the other.
If you don't believe the word of AH then what about the UK court that ruled that 13/14 claims of physical violence by JD were "substantially true", the testimony of JD's assistant that he was kicking her during a flight, the photos of "self-harm scars" that definitely weren't self-harm scars (I should know, I have plenty) or the photos and hospital report of bruises and ripped hair that she's shared?
Now, I've been the victim of abuse at the hands of both a man and a woman, so I have no interest in seeing AH exonerated here, but it is extremely worrying to me how short people's memories are when it comes to their favourite formative childhood celebrities being accused of awful behaviour.
Ultimately, I think that JD is a very pitiful (in a sympathetic way), damaged and, most importantly here, *damaging* person, and AH is essentially a psychopath. She seems to have been the worst of the two, but struggling with drugs isn't enough of an excuse when you're hurting people other than yourself.

Since hearsay is a valid reason to object you want to get ahead of it, while it can be striken from the record the jury still hears it. While the jury should "forget" they heard it thats pretty hard to do. So starting a sentince with he did, said, showed, etc is a decent sign that he is about to say something that was hearsay. While I find amber heards lawyer extremely annoying the hearsay objections for the most part are valid, and thats seen by the judge sustaining the objections.

    "He said..."
    "Objection hearsay"
YES. It is hearsay. You are saying things a third party allegedly said. But that doesn't mean you always have to call it out.
Because then the other party will just get the witness on board who said the thing and ask them "hey, what did you say then?", which just gives you the EXACT same answer from a different mouth. It's just wasting everyone's time.
The worst worst thing he did is object to his own question. If the judge didn't think he was a donkey, he definetly does now.
Btw, it's the same whenever a witness answers to a question "yes, but..." and is interrupted when they want to explain. Because the other attorney will just stand up during cross and ask a question regarding the first question so they can explain.
The only thing this COULD achieve is taking the wind out of the sails of the clarification for the jury, but at the cost of annoying everyone in the court room, which often costs you more favor with the jury than if you just took the answer.
    He's an idiot without strategy.

When you don't have a case it's a good strategy to block everything.
By fedding up the defense you makes them more prone to either make a mistake or to let you do what you want.
And objecting their own question is good too. If the defense can only say "yes but" you can vouch that the defendant said yes and that's enough for your agenda.
