Since hearsay is a valid reason to object you want to get ahead of it, while it can be striken from the record the jury still hears it. The most idiotic thing to do is annoy the judge. This lawyer does just that. "He said..." "Objection hearsay" YES. It is hearsay. You are saying things a third party allegedly said. But that doesn't mean you always have to call it out. Because then the other party will just get the witness on board who said the thing and ask them "hey, what did you say then?", which just gives you the EXACT same answer from a different mouth. It's just wasting everyone's time. The worst worst thing he did is object to his own question. If the judge didn't think he was a donkey, he definetly does now. Btw, it's the same whenever a witness answers to a question "yes, but..." and is interrupted when they want to explain. Because the other attorney will just stand up during cross and ask a question regarding the first question so they can explain. The only thing this COULD achieve is taking the wind out of the sails of the clarification for the jury, but at the cost of annoying everyone in the court room, which often costs you more favor with the jury than if you just took the answer. He's an idiot without strategy.
When you don't have a case it's a good strategy to block everything. By fedding up the defense you makes them more prone to either make a mistake or to let you do what you want. And objecting their own question is good too. If the defense can only say "yes but" you can vouch that the defendant said yes and that's enough for your agenda.

Depp is suing Heard; the jury aren't going to declare anything about Depp. Most likely he will lose this trial, and most likely he and his legal team know that - and knew it going in - but he has decided to air his dirty laundry in this public way because he thinks it's better that the world thinks of him as a junkie, than as a wife beater. That's what is going on here. Amber Heard still has to testify and we don't know what will happen when she does, after which she has countersued Depp, so this slow motion train-wreck has a long way to go yet and there aren't going to be any winners or losers; everyone on the train is going to crash and burn with it...

Since hearsay is a valid reason to object you want to get ahead of it, while it can be striken from the record the jury still hears it. YES.

"Mr. Rottenborn." That's straight out of a Johnny Depp movie.
I think its his real name though
Yess. His name is literally Benjamin Rottenborn
It is kinda perfect for this
Objection and hearsay are the 2 most annoying words rn
did i read that right, correct?
@@SlayNorway you didn't read that right
@@trythis2006 objection, hearsay!
@@rinrin4711 I'll sustain the objection. Move on.
@@SlayNorway Could you read that one more time?
At this point Johnny knows more about the law than Heard's lawyer lol
At this point i feel like being a lawyer is such an easy job
Lol not really
I’m glad he could make people laugh during a time like this I’m sure it’s a good feeling considering all the bull shit happening, he doesn’t deserve this shit, it sucks how people are so cruel 🤦🏻♂️
The whole case is already a joke. Johnny's been innocent since day 1. At this point, it's just a prolonged circus act.
She absolutely smeared him intentionally. These PR teams know how to help save a career as well as wreck one using social and conventional media.
Justice from Johnny.
Men emancipation!
I think this is turning into a depp revival.
His movies are becoming much more popular on streaming platforms, and I've yet to see a comment against him.
No bad publicity?
Depp: “I-“
Lawyer: “Objection, hearsay your honor.”
Judge: "On what grounds?"
Lawyer: "I heard him say something, your honor."
"As long as you are happy, Sir." Johnny is the best!!!! I peed my pants! 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
I see Johnny in a comedic movie now. I think his sarcasm and expressions will blow us away :)
In hindsight he would have made for a pretty good iron man, if RDJ wasn't born for that role
Is the attorney really called Rottenborn!? It’s like Mr Kidkill from the Simpsons who makes Apu’s octuplets perform at his zoo! You couldn’t pick a more ridiculously apt, comedic name for this guy. Does he work for the law firm Dewey, Cheatham and Howe!?
That's his real name. Anyone who has studied History, knows most civilizations ended up giving families Surnames, based on trades or actions. The most common being 'Smith', for families known for a valued trade or skill.
I can't imagine what a family would have to be well known for, to earn the surname of 'Rottenborn'.
@@jeremybackup5758 Perhaps he's a descendant of the Loathsome Dung Eater family line.
@@AeontheWeeb You mean the Devious Doodoo Devourer?
Wow, didnt know that. Its true, os loke watching a simpsons episode. Jack Sparrow needa to sail again against pirate rottenborn. Ild watch that

I love every time the lawyer says hearsay, Johnny pauses for a moment and looks up with the most "wtf" face
When this is over, and Hollywood doesn’t give him his career back, he should be a lawyer.
I like how him drinking and doing drugs alone is there only “evidence” yet she beat him sober

Just imagine amber's lowyers, Imagine studying for over 10 years, others telling you that you need to help people and bring justise to this world.
