- During a pre-recorded deposition on Wednesday, Johnny Depp struggled to stop laughing while the witness gave his testimony. One of the sentences to had Depp laughing was, in the words of the witness, "I don't remember, I don't even remember what I had for breakfast."

I’m not a Depp fan. Can’t remember what films of his I’ve seen - not many - but I’m now going to look them up and watch lots of them. I definitely think he’s been subjected to an injustice. We’ve got to stand up to this culture of ‘cancelling’ people based on hearsay and unpopular opinions.

I’ve been a fan of Johnny Depp for a long time and Heard actually made my admiration for him tenfold deeper by doing this. Nowadays I found myself searching and re-watching Depp’s movies, shows he was in, etc. So if Heard’s intention was to bring Johnny down, I said her plan had actually backfired. Now people actually love him more.

@@corinneadair2119 No it isn't lol. Reaction formation is about replacing unwanted thoughts with opposing ones to avoid anxiety (classic example is someone who's uncomfortable with their own body in some way so they mock/insult others).
Laughing as a defensive mechanism is an attempt at emotional regulation. It also doesn't seem to be what he's doing here, throughout this whole case it seems far more like Depp is just amused by the whole thing (pretty reasonably too)

True. I'm amazed people can describe such details from 2016/2017. I could only describe events in general terms with a few details. Maybe ppl are just better than me. I think one guy was even going into a conversation for 2010 and stuff. I only remember flashes and glimpses and fragments of conversations for 2010. Certainly not whether a person was wearing makeup for example.

You have to know that often , lawyers are doing some very heavy training with the witnesses and therefor help them remember the most thing possible. Most people don't just "show up" in courts , especially with big cases like this one ^^

Lawyers (good ones) don't just ask questions when it comes to past dates they have to guide the memory of the witness to remember very specific things which is why the judge can stop the witness from answering a question of they think the question might make the witness miss remember something.
@@mazi1597 it's opposite for me. If I have a really bad experience on a particular day my brain stores every detail from that day into a permanent memory. For example my aunt who I was close to died on 8th November at 9:30 at night and I even remember what I had for breakfast for that day, what chores I did everything.
I'm pretty sure most people can relate to this guy. Who remembers anyone's makeup, hairstyle or outfit from years ago, unless it's a very special occasion or unless you have photographic memory? If you ever saw someone you met on a regular basis, with injuries to their face, you'd probably remember it, right? It's not like you go looking for injuries for no reason, but if you saw them you'd probably remember for some time

He admitted that he remembers every single detail that he sees then a few seconds later says he can't even remember what he had for breakfast. Dude can't even keep his story straight so most likely a terrible witness and possibly even a liar for all we know but glad you find him entertaining since that's all this trial is for.

The public doesn't want fake, expecially when dealing with a serious subject like DV. We don't need political correctness, we want honesty and really just a genuine witnesses. This guy was it! The public wants relatable and down to earth people and Johnny seems to have a plenty of them around him. Just seeing this guy drive off in his car without his seatbelt on while talking to the court was so relatable and made me feel like I was listening to a friend give his side of a story. It won alot of people over for just being so "this isn't going to stop my day having to testify" type of vibe.
