Video Summary:
Most of the receptor tyrosine kinases are single-pass transmembrane proteins with the extracellular ligand-binding site and the intracellular tyrosine kinase domain. Receptors for insulin and some growth factors are Receptor tyrosine kinases. Under an inactive state, receptors are in monomeric form. Ligand binding causes dimerization. Some receptors like those for insulin are present as dimer even under resting conditions. In the dimer, the tyrosine kinase domain of each receptor phosphorylates tyrosine residues on the other one. Resultant phosphotyrosine motifs attract SH2 domain-containing proteins. In MAPK pathway, downstream signal molecules are GRB2, SOS, Ras, Raf-1, MEK, MAPK, proteins involved in cytoskeletal assembly and transcription factors. PI3k pathway, involves PI3K, PIP3, then PDK1, PKC or guanine nucleotide exchange factor Vav and downstream to PDK1 we have Akt or PKB and glycogen synthase kinase 3-β.

If I ever have to hear the word kinase again I think I'm gonna scream lol
Hahaha...😂
kinase
Wait until you know that there is a science for kinases called Kiomics studying the Kiome
I appreciate it. Beautiful explanations
Best video of this topic, like ever.
thank you
U litteraly are the best👌🏻
Thank you so much!
Very nice explanation,it helps a lot for my tomorrow exam
Is the best video about PK in RUclips
Very very nice animation, keep up the good work 👍
Sure
Thank you so much, you are my life savior
this was so helpful!! thank you
never thought id see a receptor tyrosine kinase and a glock in the same youtube video
Very beutiful explaination
Crisp and amazing 🔥🔥
these videos helped me alot 🥳…. thank you soo much !
Most welcome. Please share the videos 😊
Thank you beautiful explanation 👏👍👍
Very good one.thank you sor
So nice of you
Wonderful thanks so much…
Great work
This helped me a lot thank you very much
Too good explanation
Are the kinases inside the receptor??
yes, in this case. Here the same protein molecule works as receptor as well as kinase in this case. But many receptor molecules don't have their on enzymatic function. So associate with separate enzymatic molecule. I hope it helps.
So some kinases can be in the cytoplasm?
@@noorsharabi5399yes, I think they are different from that which we just discussed above...
شكرا لك 🙏💗💗
Very helpful ❤❤
Sir, could you please do a video on the topic TGF beta pathway
Helpful sir ❤
excellent video!
Its funny how there guns/pistols in the cell😆
saviour
🔥🔥
I am hungry after watching this, wonder why
🤣
Good but not detailed enough
