Why don't they actually demonstrate their cars?! And secondly, did anyone notice just how RELAXED/NORMAL the guy was! I mean, even I was freaking out on that ramp and he's like, "eh, it's a G Class"
That's the paradox of this car. One of the best stock car you can get on the market when it comes to offroad capabilities. Its triple mechanical differential locks is nowadays unique, only the Jeep Wrangler Rubicon offers this possibility too. This feature beats the Range Rover and Toyota Land Cruiser which are also references in this category. Only in water wading depth is the G Class beaten by the Ford Ranger (800 mm) and the Land Rover Range/Disco/Defender (900 mm). The problem is its price tag. Very very few people can afford this car and among them who would go offroading with a car that costs 150k€+ ?? Only people you see with a G Class are bling bling people from the jet set, who would never drive off the city. They don't have the skills anyway to drive off road lol. It's such a pity and a waste when you consider the real potential of this car. But hey, same thing applies to owners of a Range Rover. In the end, people who really do offroading buy an old Land Cruiser from the 90s and specially prepare it for offroad.

If anyone could advise the link comparing the current and prev. model on a similar test site, difficult terrain - I'd highly appreciate it.

I currently drive Mercedes-Benz 2018 S560 and looking to try something new. The G6 three could be my next vehicle seeing that demonstration of its ability to go up and down Hills and through water. It’s kind of excitement I’m looking for thank you very much.
As a G63 owner I can confirm this is an accurate depiction of his off road abilities. It’s an amazing vehicle. The 550 his awesome but there’s NOTHING like that AMG.

Well as soon as I get rich enough for one of these I’m gonna learn how to off road it and do exactly that. I’ll have a separate car for city driving and take this one out to nature 🤘🏽🔥
I own a 2016 G550 Gwagon and just to let the public know, both pinion seals leaked fluids at 20,000 miles and being that the warranty expired, I had to pay $2200.00 for the repair. Buyer beware, as they are no longer the long life a buyer expects.

A lot of G-classes go offroad in the Persian Gulf region. They do look great in the desert scapes.

A military focused truck to AMG version. It’s been out for a while. I still cannot believe in my eyes when I saw this beautifully existed.
9:29 insane. I can't think of any other offroad vehicles that can do that. OK the reverse part was even more impressive
The steel ramps have claws in them. I'm sure most vehicles could climb that with so much grip.
