I think it's safe to say Rose is the most powerful Bio-weapon in Resident Evil to date. She beats out Evelyn and Miranda with ease once she gets the hang of her powers, and I imagine she'll only get stronger as time goes on. She's the culmination of centuries of experiment, sacrifice, and refinement. And with the love & consciousness of a human being she'll be of great help to Chris in RE9.
I think had a certain degree of sentient, maybe its own agenda and goal: survive. Helped Miranda, Eveline and others to expand its network and later decided to "join" the Winters family which gave it a better chance of survival.
The megamycete is dangerous for the Intel I gathered in my Playthru through a catalogued every last one of the other resident evils not to mention that Spencer trained under Miranda Miranda and Spencer talked in re Village if Miranda succeeded in bringing her daughter back then she would’ve helped Spencer with his plan that thing catalog everyone from the other resident evil‘s if you can create a strong enough vessel you can bring these fallen embossed monsters back to life and if she brought her daughter Ava back then she would’ve continue to make stronger vessels to bring forth the other fallen resident evil boss monsters from the other games and unleash them on the earth bending humankind to spencers twisted dreams
Crazy how I didn't know Rose could do all that in the Miranda boss fight. I didn't get a single prompt about Rose's powers and had no idea she could even dodge. I just ran around getting smacked by Miranda and used guns like normal until I eventually won. I definitely struggled, though. 💀
I gotta admit I feel sorry for Eveline as all she wanted was a family to truly love her, instead The Connections made her into a monster. Sadly she could've been happy with The Bakers.
I feel more bad for the Bakers, honestly. The scene where Marguerite is trying to fight Eveline's control, she gives Zoe the keys to the car and tells her to run really gets to me every time. She has no clue what's going on, she just sees herself and her husband hurting their daughter and turning into monsters right before Evie fully takes control. The flashback scenes of them rescuing Eveline, too. They were just nice people doing the right thing.
Since Eveline broke free during the Hurricane that led to The Baker Family, my guess is Eveline was incomplete, that's why people became monsters when exposed to Eveline, & Rose was what Eveline was actually suppose to be. 🧏🏿♂️
No. Eveline wasn't "incomplete", she was a straight up failure. If by monsters you mean the Bakers and such, that's not the reason. Eveline was a traumatized, mentally broken child. You put such power in the hands of a literal newborn (keep in mind the artificial aging), raise the kid as a bioweapon and not a human being, denied of the love and care children crave so much and guess what happens? Surprise surprise, the kid goes absolutely insane. When Eveline's mold infects the victim, she does not make them follow orders like many people believe. Instead, she makes them WANT to follow her orders, to earn her favor, their personality becomes "in tune" with hers. In short, it's not because of an imperfect Mold that people went insane, it's because Eveline's human side was so broken that violence was the only thing she knew, which she then of course reflected on others.
An interesting tidbit about the name Michael is that Michael is one of the heavenly archangels known to lend strength to overcome a difficult challenge, which is reflected by all the help Rose got from "Michael".
The meaning of Michael would matter, which would not help your example. And an angel is a messenger and means highest messenger, and used in context of prophecy. Prophecy is always in figurative, symbolic language which means names and imagery represent something else. Michael is Jesus, the greatest messenger that does battle with Satan, the dragon. Many are confused on this and think there is a class called "archangels" when it is only used in relation to one figure. Lucifer was a covering angel, the other was Gabriel. There couldn't be another angel if they occupied the highest positions in heaven.
@@blumiu2426 actually there is a class of angels called archangels. They rank in just below the Seraphim. OP's statement works out completely when you take into context just who the archangel michael was and what he represents. He was viewed as a warrior against evil and even abled as a warrior of the children is Israel, which would suit Ethan. He was a warrior against evil and a warrior for his child.
@@chey4456 You will fine no mention of archangels in the Bible aside from Michael alone being referred to one. Go look for yourself. You will only find it in separate Catholic material where they name angels and demons, which is simply renaming pagan deities as angels and other elements of mystery school teachings. It sounds more like you are repeating what you've read than actually know. Seraphim was a word only used once in the Bible, in Ezekiel I think, meaning "fiery ones', describing the heavenly court he saw. It is referring to their holy light as you see fire used in relation to angels. Seraphim is a descriptive, while cherubim is still referring to angels. They are the same. Names have meaning in the Bible and stand for something when used in context. Most don't take into account prophetic language from literal text, coming up with bizarre interpretations like Revelation being literal or gnostic teachings, or the wheels of eyes being literal even though a vision is taking place, where prophetic meaning is given then explained.
@@blumiu2426 you technically cannot argue that there isnt a class called archangel when you look at the different branches of religion (which all retell the same tales) Certain branches of religion recall thousands of archangels while only name dropping seven (which is a reoccurring theme amongst religions excluding the main Christian bible which you are relying on). I am going off years of worship (previously being raised religious and associating with family and friends of other religions) so to imply that I'm just going off of what I've read is highly insulting. I would suggest doing research because you would find my argument is based in facts :)
I really liked the supernatural side of everything! It was really cool to see Rose grow into her powers and that ending scene of Rose and Ethan before she woke back up in the normal world brought me to tears. She finally got to have a conversation with her father and she truly understands his sacrifice for her and how much he loves her. I really hope we see her in future games and get to see her powers develop even more!
If Rose winters actually returns in future RE games her powers are gonna continue to grow and I’m absolutely ok with that however Capcom has to be careful with this cause if next RE games end up going full action then that’s gonna be risky like RE5&6 so my suggestion to Capcom is to keep the balance between powers and horror so If Rose returns I like to see her going up against more terrifying monsters and maybe just like in doll house she ends up losing powers so that they can make it more terrifying fingers crossed I really hope she returns
@@zeroskaterz92 I agree, her father fought giant mutant monsters so should she although I think Rose will have an easier time of beating them since she’s gonna use both powers and firearms but if it ends up being a boss who might have more powers then she’s gonna need assistance from other classic characters
I feel like something to keep in mind is that these powers she used were used within the megamycete. I fully believe that she has the capability to use the powers that effectively…eventually. But within the megamycete, Ethan lent her a bunch of his power as well, I would even say including through the use of the vials. The vials could even just be him lending her his understanding of how to use her abilities, but I have to wonder if her abilities directly translate to the world outside of the mold. From my understanding, she would have more control of her powers within the megamycete, and once she stepped out she’d have to relearn how to use her gifts again, once she learned how to be okay with them. So, I could see her taking on smaller baddies at first, still growing into her powers, if they take that route. And I would believe it. However, another incredibly interesting route they could take it would be the relationship between the growth of her power and the influence the megamycete itself has on her. We can assume it is basically just mold, which means at its core it wants to do what all living organisms want to do; survive and spread. It’s been established Rose already has a bit of a temper, and in general seems to think with her feelings prominently. I think it would be fascinating (and terrifying) to play as a character who continually grows incredibly powerful who begins to make a few morally ambiguous choices, even if justified. And then we, as the player, guide Rose as she basically struggles to find where her line is and maybe even struggles to know what is real. That…would be fun, I think.
The megamycete is very interesting, feels more like an animal that want to survive than just the zombie source this time around, and since absorb sentient beings maybe become sentient itself, at least enough to think the best way to survive. Maybe just give power to the ones that can help it to survive, and since discard Miranda for Rose even after its main body was blow up, Rose still its best shoot to survive. Probably the most "tameable" power in Re, and could really help to fight the next bio weapon if could be a threat to its and Rose's survival.
You sound like someone who play RE1 at the start but never to bother to finish it. There's more than just zombies since the first game. The "anime" never left even back when Wesker revealed his comical villain plan to Chris/Jill in front of Tyrant.
I really enjoy the idea of bows from genetic experimentation. However I enjoyed this a lot too and I really think that evil has many forms and should not be limited to one type of monster.
Tbh, I’ve always been interested in the four dominating houses of the village, specifically Beneviento and Dimitrescu - really only because they’re the ones with any actual story. At any rate, with House Dimitrescu, I’m trying to figure out if this is a mistranslation - but it relates to the angel statue of Nichola: “村の四始祖の1人、叔父ニコラが所持していたと言われる古の女神像” Which roughly means “An ancient statue of the goddess said to have belonged to her uncle Nicola, one of the four founders of the village.” What’s sort of off putting is that “Father”, the religious sort of title, is applied here in English. But the translated Japanese makes it seem he’s the uncle of some girl…. Is this wrong? Just tryna figure it out in all honesty. Aside from that, we at least know if five other members of this House. The man who commissioned the creation of “Death’s Flowers” was indeed a lord of the castle at one point. Then you have Alcina, and then her three daughters. Funny enough, the man who made the dagger was terrified by the idea of demons coming for him, and go figure, he would eventually be succeeded by a cannibal mutant - oh whom (Alcina) was, at a point in time, nearly killed with said dagger by some random dude who figured she was no normal human. Though for whatever reasons Alcina placed his body and knife within her family crypt. We also know that within the mythology of the village, a war goddess of some kind was revered for having slain a demon in the past. To word off said demons, the village folk make talisman of warding out of goat bone and or wood. To boot, wolf men and mystical birds were also uh… concepts within their culture. Though, I think ultimately , at least in ancient times - the Four Kings did indeed have knowledge of and worshipped the Black God/ fungal collective below the region.
In Asian cultures, "uncle" is the title given to anyone who has a close relationship to someone younger than them. It doesn't necessarily mean blood relation.
@@WobblesandBean Ah, that makes sense. He was more or less a religious leader. The change of “angel statue that was treasured by Nichola” to “statue of the goddess said to have belonged to her uncle Nicola” was just a bit off putting. Like, where did that detail come from?
@@SHARK_TASTIC Oh please stfu tough guy, nothing about this is cringe. Your comment itself is cringe tho, imagine saying "oh my cringe" like bruh tf lmao 💀🗿
Basically Rose is a perfect BOW, similar to Wesker, but Wesker needed a serum to not die, where-as Rose seems to be perfectly stable. I still don't understand how the megamycete can produce fireballs, but it would make sense that it could reconstitute it's spores into different shapes, or even manipulate roots and plants that are infected with it, considering some real world fungi actually do similar things already. Really think Umbrella made a mistake with their Progenitor virus stuff.. this Megamycete seems to offer everything they wanted and more.
Tbf Umbrella's goals differed from what Miranda was trying to do with the mold, Miranda was trying to bring back one child whereas Umbrella was up to evil corporate world-threatening shenanigans. Plus it's been shown that the process of getting the mold to infect a person is different and slow whereas a virus can spread and infect far more quickly so there was an incentive for creating the virus over using the mold.
It can produce fireballs simple just because. You don't need to trying to take it seriously. It's no different than T-Veronica where Alexia's blood can somehow produce flame.
@@zeroskaterz92 With most games and movies it’s important to not take everything to seriously as that can sour and ruin your fun, just be like “Ok guess that’s a thing”
@zeroskaterz92 you sure they are fireballs tho?? After the impact it all turns and scatters like some moldy goop, I've seen the same thing in 2 gameplays, I really dont know if I'm correct or not tho.
@@1738-l1j !!! That’s a good question. As far as I know, Ethan died that night at the Baker’s house by Jack. But I have no clue when Miranda started to take Mia’s place. Good point
@@Mario-ts4pi I believe it states in the files/dialogue that mia was recently kidnapped within the span of a month(give or take)upon the raid from chris's team. I would assume Miranda was the "lady at the store" that gave mia the village of shadows book for rose in the prologue. Either way Miranda had found them for a small period of time but not 9 months long.
I love The Duke, I was hoping the DLC would have him come back. I have a theory he's the "uncle" mentioned on that stone tablet in the main game. He clearly has a connection to the other Lords, he even has his own crest, yet he has a vested interest in seeing them and Miranda defeated, and it's a total mystery why.
I think they didn’t have you fight the evil Duke because they don’t want to give away exactly what he is just yet. I have a feeling we will see him again at some point
Somewhere outside the game it's said she went to jail It would be when rose starts school since she did homeschooling with rose They let her off the hook after 7 and let her start a family but ig after she kept Ethan being mold a secret and probably other secrets they put her in jail she was just far too dangerous if she is hiding important information and used to work with the connections
i guess Rose either disowned her or has very complicated relationship with her mother. It's very likely that she blames her for her dad's death up to this day. I can imagine Mia still being Mia and hiding things from Rose as well and when she learns the truth about her father from either Chris or Mia herself she is so mad at Mia to the point of developing a hate towards her and blaming her in everything that destroyed their family. So she prefers not to talk to her anymore or at least to some degree.
She couldn't, eva didn't manifest inside the megamycete's consciousness that's why she had to lure rose in the megamycete to once again attempt her experiment to bring her eva
@@dadevi she literally explained in one of the files in the dlc as to why eva couldn't completely manifest there. Reading the ingame filea is a necessity to understand the plot of any RE games
@@valkyriearih4268 hey don't mind if I ask, but if miranda can manifest herself as a consciousness, ethan can manifest his consciousness then why the hell does Eva need a body?? See i really dont understand what all this fungi stuff is, so pls dont get mad
So form what I understand this is the last planned outing for Rose which is a shame as ied love to see her grow, ied imagine her been a steamroller for Chris and his team, something they send in when it’s to dangerous for a normal team to go in so she is sent in first to wreck the place before someone like Chris and his team go in to mop up what’s left. A spin of from the main line games kinda like how devil may cry started but this time it’s kept in the setting.
Excellent video DeVuh! I enjoyed watching the DLC and loved it so much. Much love to Rose and Ethan, they hold a special place in my heart. It is different than its predecessors and not many are into the supernatural which I understand why. Resident Evil is about defeating the bioterrorism, killing off any infected/undead and the story of the Winterses transcends into something that that’s completely next level. I loved it but if the lore were to follow this path, then it would stray away from what it’s all about. The Winterses will remain forever my favorite heroes of the RE lore.
Thank You!!! Also I share the same sentiment, I really enjoyed following the Winters family saga and I hope they can still implement them in some way in any future RE games, Though they did say that this is the end for their storyline.
Same. Some voice lines sounded exactly like Angie. Then others sounded like Eveline. I thought they were working together. Also Eveline may know Donna Beneviento. Since Eveline made her relm based off Donna's house. And used her dolls. Eveline probably talked with Donna though the mold
doubt the purifying crystal thing was even real, considering Miranda was giving Rose hallucinations at dlc start, then Rose is essentially tricked into entering a dream-like realm trying to access mutamycete memories. heck, this could've instead been an attempt of Miranda's to re-assert herself as the controlling-consciousness, post-mortem....
People shit on rose for having powers despite the fact that she is essentially a perfected version of eveline, does anyone remember wesker and how he became a matrix rip off with super human agility and shit ? Most people just roll with it but when rose has powers people whine
@@alsimmonshellspawn6021 I think they could limit it, though. Maybe she can't use too much, maybe it's only stronger in certain situations. Remember, she also used Ethan's power to take down Miranda.
Nice game and story to wrap the Winter story up. Very happy that we have our breath of fresh air and now let's get real and get back to OG Resident Evil action-horror with Chris, Leon, Ada, Jill & gang.
After watching this (very well made) video, I took a look at the comments. Some of them, in my opinion, were downright hilarious. But I’d like to share my thoughts briefly, if I may, about the future of the Resident Evil franchise. 1. Leon and gang vs. Ethan and gang (or any other new characters.) The first game came out in 1996. Since then they’ve made a game at least every couple of years. So, after a little over a decade of making a bunch of different games (which began as survival horror and slowly became horror-themed action) there were a lot of people who had gotten into the video game scene feeling the need to play catch-up to understand Leon, Jill, Chris, or anyone else in the franchise. In my opinion, RE 7 was a breath of fresh air for people who felt like Resident Evil now felt more like a cheesy Jame Bond flick with mutated zombies, and for people intimidated by the sheer size of the catalog, RE 7 was a great introduction to the series - which I’m sure is what Capcom was going for since they then leaned heavily into the remakes after that. But, in my honest opinion - why can’t we have both? Personally, I’d love to see the franchise make some of the more over-the-top, goofy games like Resident Evil 6 (yeah, I said it. Goofy.) while also continuing this trend of having more grounded, horror-based games as well. Sure, you’d need to do some tap dancing around canon and continuity to keep it believable, but also that’s what alternate timelines are for. 2. RE 7, RE 8, and RE 8 DLC being “less believable” and “more sci-fi” or “supernatural” than RE 1,2, or 3. Excuse me, what? I would love for someone to legitimately explain to me how a virus that not only brings people back from the dead but also completely mutates people into actual monsters who wear their skin inside out and crawl on the wall is more believable than a mold that does nearly the same thing. Within the Resident Evil canon itself (albeit, in one of the CGI movies and not a game) there is even a separate virus that gives someone the ability to control others infected by the T-virus, which is very similar to Eveline’s ability. If we are looking at nature in its most realistic sense, I actually believe mold and fungus more likely to cause these zombie-like effect than I do a virus, since in nature there are molds that show properties of controlling dead organisms to keep itself alive. Whereas, while a virus can cause death, will generally die after its host is dead. Sure, some of the villains in RE 8 lean paranormal, but the explanations behind their supernatural abilities are explained as well as Mr. X’s ability to regularly mutate was explained. The only difference is that in RE 8, the mutations provided by the mold looked more like old-fashioned monsters, like vampire and werewolves, whereas the mutations in the other games just made them grotesque flesh-monsters. Both are equally valid, because neither is wholly believable. Don’t get upset that a Resident Evil game has lost its believability. You’ve just grown up and find it more difficult to buy into the same level of believability these games have always had. 3. (And my final thought - if you’ve read this far, good for you! I’m honored and impressed.) Rose’s strength makes Resident Evil non-scary. First, Rose is sixteen in 2037. We’ve got a while before we see her become a powerful BOW. But, more importantly, within the series, besides Ethan, we’ve not seen anyone whose come into contact with that mold that has kept their sanity. And certainly no one who has exercised a great influence over it. Ethan didn’t even know he was infected - he never actively used an ability from the mold, unless you count heightened regeneration, which just happened on its own. The two that had close to Rose’s abilities, Eveline and Miranda, were both bat-sh*t crazy. And, sure, it wasn’t *necessarily* from the mold, but I have to wonder if the mold didn’t help. The mold is a living organism. Which means it wants to survive and spread. And we already know the mold, when someone uses it, has the ability to manipulate perspective and control the mind. What’s to say the mold inherently slowly drive someone mad - maybe the more power you have over it, it has the same power over you. And what if you play as Rose - an all powerful, strong, capable girl/woman - who is slowly becoming corrupted by the mold. What if the horror is psychological as you are confronted with the question: what is real? Why am I doing what I’m doing? Am I in control? I could see that being a FUN game. And that’s it. That’s all my rants. Let me know what you think (if you got this far. 😅)
I agree pretty much with everything you've said. I think for the 9th game a playable character should be zoe baker since shes a character linked to 7 , the game that started the story of the mold, that we havent heard from at all in 8 really besides her being a journalist now. Besides the winters family the bakers have been through it the most and seeing that shes the soul surviving member of the bakers, besides Joe baker, it would be interesting to play as her. Maybe shell come across Jill even
If Miranda wanted a host for her child, why not have a child herself. Ethan was able to impregnate Mia as a mold person. Appearing as Mia, Miranda could have procreated with Ethan. Making a child from two mold carriers. Then Miranda could have "willed" her daughter's consciousness into the unborn child.
That's.. actually a rly good point,I mean legit miranda coulda had a vessel even more perfect than rose given mirandas unique infection, the vessel would b able to shapeshift and b ageless like her,and she wouldn't have to worry bout her child dyin again
The Shadows of Rose story was an interesting adventure. compared to Ethan and Mia Rose is easily my favorite. Miranda living on in the Megamycete was a surprise but I wondered why it was just her, Eveline and Ethan, the entire time I was hoping the 4 Lords would appear but they didn't. At the same time though I'm kinda glad because they most likely would've been fakes like the Duke. I like the idea of bioweapons fighting against evil bioweapons but I don't think they'll go in that direction just yet, this was 16 years after so a new generation of characters might be planned.
@@jeremyknight9980 she did not know ethan can manifest even in her own realm inside. I think that's why he hid his presence and allowed himself to be called Michael to hide under Miranda's radar. Miranda didn't even think eveline can force her way into it as well. In the files it said that anyone attuned by the mold can do it.
Sherry is more lively, grounded and well adjusted person than Rose although both are good people. You can see with Sherry's interaction with Jake how she can easily make friends, while Rose has a more brooding personality.
Maybe the clothes get infected somehow too Like when donna died her coat crumbled as well, assuming she actually died and it wasn't a hallucination Better examples are urias, the lycans, moroaica etc, their clothes crumble too And the dimitrescu daughters are able to carry knives and sickles on them and presumably turn them into flies?
Regardless of who started what when she snapped she may be the most powerful but that does not do her any favors the others were highly dangerous in there own right yet in the end they all came crashing down she will either come out strong for the better or she will just be a out of control monster who kills many and destroys her mother and the memory of her dad she will show chris things even he does not know about some to that may be true rosemary don't drop your guard on chris he know as well as what he has done.
My only advice to the character of Rose and to anyone else that thinks their different and wants to be “”normal”” is Normal is vastly overrated. Heck what dose been Normal even mean? Each human is completely unique from each over, normal usually means be like me when someone says it or it means to be boring, I don’t know about most but ied hate to be normal.
If Ethan is in it, so is Eveline. Her megamycete is the reason he lived for so long - and, technically speaking, Ethan’s megamycete is apart of Rose. So, having Rose’s consciousness enter the sample could have easily invited Ethan and Eveline into the sample.
After this DLC, I think that we'd expect that Resident Evil will become more Parasite Eve-like (story) in the next game. That will be great if Capcom manage well these new arguments, We'll see.
I really wish we'd see Rose at least one more time in Resident Evil 9. She's my favorite character, I'd really hate to see her go to waste like the others.

@@dannyrivera8300 yeah could be dirty blonde, but maybe that's just because of the situation ethan finds himself in Regardless genes can skip generations, for example if both of your parents have brown eyes it doesn't mean you'll have them too, you could have any eye or hair colour as long as some ancestor has had it at some point
Sherry had a better story and an original re character. Rose was wack...and village all together ! So keep rose away from the og's...she can't even compare! Roses powers were cringe and not resident evil at all...someone with a lot of estrogen came up with that story arc without a doubt!
I'm on the fence with this one. I did enjoy the supernatural aspect of it, although I don't think this would pass as a mainstream game, it's better suited for DLC. My problem I have is that Rose seems to be written out in the same way that Jill Valentine was written out in the remake, just typical tropes with no real originality to it, which is a shame given that the characters in village were so well written out, Heisenberg has to be one of my most favorite personalities ever written in a game! Now when it comes to B.O.W. powered protagonists I'm willing to bet that's going to be the direction resident evil goes, to me it makes sense that they're going to use b o w types to fight bio weapons with future games, it seems the classic horror aspect like conserving ammo, choosing what to take with you, those kinds of old elements are probably thrown out the window now. So in conclusion, while I have enjoyed this DLC to a degree, it's also shown me that I'm not going to have any real desire for resident evil anymore.
exactly. re village was good but i didn’t really enjoy it like i did with the other games. i really can’t see myself enjoying the games after this tbh. i didn’t see the hype of the dlc it was fun but just didn’t fit the re concept. but to each their own
Unfortunately...I like silent hill but resident evil and silent hill there own thing/identity, so when they did re village and then added rose dlc with "powers" I knew the fell from grace. One of the worst titles yet and a disgrace to the series
For the story & dlc for re 8 village it was fitting bc of the MM..... This makes me feel ot can tie in with re Rev. 2 bc of how that ended.... Re can be fitting to og re & re 7 with that side & bc of the MM it can have this supernatural side like silent hill & the evil within which Is cool...
Everything we see Rose do in the dlc if Fake... Although clearly She has amazing control over he own mind to bring forth some of the abilities to use... But from what Mother Miranda says, one can assume Rose will be able to Control anything infected with the Megamycyte, which the T-virus ect seems to be rooted from i. Some form or another... Similar to Evaline, but much more large-scale
Both Evaline & Donna seemed to be more Hallucinogenic/Psychic aspects in their abilities... Where we find both are just making those they infect See things in order to control them... So i think Rose will be similar to Alice in the movies, but with much more control over her Psychic abilities, and perhaps fully control the Infected with ease
What i loved about resident evil games is that the protagonist where always human yet they managed to beat horrible mutated monsters using advanced weaponry and skill which is why I hate Rose. What has this series become even, she is superman basically. Compare her to leon from re2,4 a normal guy who is highly skilled trying to survive in an apocalyptic event but now rose just walks in and starts destroying zombies like it's dragon ball.

makes sense
Other words. Rose is the perfect version.
@@silverhawkscape2677 But Miranda actually says that. Rose is the ultimate form of Eveline.
@@eveexeTVthis makes double sense why Rose was so mad at the end and threatened the government guy when he called her Eveline
@@blumiu2426 you technically cannot argue that there isnt a class called archangel when you look at the different branches of religion (which all retell the same tales)
Certain branches of religion recall thousands of archangels while only name dropping seven (which is a reoccurring theme amongst religions excluding the main Christian bible which you are relying on).
I am going off years of worship (previously being raised religious and associating with family and friends of other religions) so to imply that I'm just going off of what I've read is highly insulting. I would suggest doing research because you would find my argument is based in facts :)

She shouldn't lose her powers but be put against enemy's that can compete with her power.
@@lmul1441 yeah that works too in fact I would like to see her go up against a tyrant similar to Nemesis
I think it would be fit for her to fight huge monsters. Kinda like how Manuela did with the help of Leon and Krauser in Darkside Chronicles.
ROSE’S POWERS:
Mitotic Regeneration
Freezing (basically)
Dash step
Absorption
Mold tendrils
Phase
Mind Control
Truly a frightening prospect. Who can defeat such a being?

The megamycete is very interesting, feels more like an animal that want to survive than just the zombie source this time around, and since absorb sentient beings maybe become sentient itself, at least enough to think the best way to survive. Maybe just give power to the ones that can help it to survive, and since discard Miranda for Rose even after its main body was blow up, Rose still its best shoot to survive. Tbh, I’ve always been interested in the four dominating houses of the village, specifically Beneviento and Dimitrescu - really only because they’re the ones with any actual story. At any rate, with House Dimitrescu, I’m trying to figure out if this is a mistranslation - but it relates to the angel statue of Nichola:
“村の四始祖の1人、叔父ニコラが所持していたと言われる古の女神像”
Which roughly means “An ancient statue of the goddess said to have belonged to her uncle Nicola, one of the four founders of the village.”
What’s sort of off putting is that “Father”, the religious sort of title, is applied here in English.

Excellent video DeVuh! I enjoyed watching the DLC and loved it so much. Much love to Rose and Ethan, they hold a special place in my heart. Nice game and story to wrap the Winter story up. Very happy that we have our breath of fresh air and now let's get real and get back to OG Resident Evil action-horror with Chris, Leon, Ada, Jill & gang.
Couldn't agree more! Village and dlc was so boring and wack
After watching this (very well made) video, I took a look at the comments. Some of them, in my opinion, were downright hilarious. But I’d like to share my thoughts briefly, if I may, about the future of the Resident Evil franchise.
1. Leon and gang vs. Ethan and gang (or any other new characters.)
The first game came out in 1996.
I’d love a full game with her

4:05 - 4:30 it is like the paths from AOT, they are all connected in Mold/paths consciousness. Am I right?
How did the consciousness of Eveline get into the megamycete sample?
If Ethan is in it, so is Eveline. Her megamycete is the reason he lived for so long - and, technically speaking, Ethan’s megamycete is apart of Rose. So, having Rose’s consciousness enter the sample could have easily invited Ethan and Eveline into the sample.
I hope rose shows up in a future re game
Hell no! Definitely not
@@SHARK_TASTIC. Says the insecure clown; Cry about it.
yeah i hope this cant be the end lol
Shes wack boring
We need a DeathBattle of Rose vs Alice from RE movies
1:41 That is a good band name.
When I see Rose's dodge vs Miranda, I thought she is daughter of Sparda or something 😏
I doubt it could be considered conversational weaponry if its in a realm where reality is distorted
Rose literally hadouken'd miranda out of existence. I think its safe to say shes the most powerful bow now.
Wait so she kept her powers in the end after all but doesn’t that mean they’ll continue a story with her in future games ? And what about her mother?
We'll probably see her mum but she won't be too plot relevant
Name of the outro song?
DMC 4 La Vita Nuova
@@HeYDeVuH thought it was familiar. Thanks
28:00 Dmc4 Never surrender theme. So much nostalgia...
8:53 'Just showing how pouwen Eveline was"? Can we get subtitles, please?
Ethan sacrificed his life to
save Rose this will be remembered and her story will continue on by others .
Who needs Leon when we have Rose now..
I still need Leon
After this DLC, I think that we'd expect that Resident Evil will become more Parasite Eve-like (story) in the next game. That will be great if Capcom manage well these new arguments, We'll see.
24:30 Like I wrote before Rose will become Godlike by the time it's all said & done.🙆🏼♀️🧏🏿♂️
I really wish we'd see Rose at least one more time in Resident Evil 9. She's my favorite character, I'd really hate to see her go to waste like the others.
this was a good DLC just wish they had more Evil Duke
Yeah that would've been great
@@HeYDeVuH also i like how they incorporated Ethan he never tried to stop rose just guided her path this DLC makes me glad he at least saw his daughter and she saw him also ill like to know how many times he ran the hands on Eveline and miranda lol
Dlc was cringe...Village was bad enough then they do some supernatural stuff with dlc....and you thought that was good resident evil content....like seriously? How? There's no way...unless you grew up with two dads or something...there's no excuse 😆
So, here's my question...
Will we get to see Rosemary Winters making an appearance in Devil May Cry 6?
I think it should be a mix of the two
Rose is way op. Take that evelyn! She’s truly the chosen one!
As a bio-weapon Rose’ farts can melt steel making them silent but very deadly.
If Ethan was affected by Evelyn mold should Evelyn be able to control him in re7 because in re7 Evelyn act like Ethan is not control one line from Evelyn in re7 she said to Ethan is your gonna become one of us like she doesn't know he already have mold from her in him already
Her speed is almost like albert wesker
The biggest bullshit for me Is that I had no Idea about the dodge mechanic untill I decided to look up what I'am doing wrong cuz the fight vs Mirranda seemed Imposible to win...unless you have tutorial ON( u might not after playing base game many times) the game does not tell you about this In any shape or form, not to mention me useing my gun....not absorbeing her attacks...sheesh..
Rose Grown up like 18 year old, Hows About Chris on her time line he is 70's oh no its hard to Control the old Man Fighting Zombies..
why didint she use the purifying cristal on Miranda
Is there any explanation why Rose looks more like Miranda then either of her parents I mean blonde hair blue eyes and what not
Ethan is blond
@@andrejv.2834 looks light brown and not blonde to me
@@dannyrivera8300 yeah could be dirty blonde, but maybe that's just because of the situation ethan finds himself in
Regardless genes can skip generations, for example if both of your parents have brown eyes it doesn't mean you'll have them too, you could have any eye or hair colour as long as some ancestor has had it at some point
Rose and Sherry should meet. They have a lot in common.
So in conclusion, while I have enjoyed this DLC to a degree, it's also shown me that I'm not going to have any real desire for resident evil anymore.
exactly. re village was good but i didn’t really enjoy it like i did with the other games. i really can’t see myself enjoying the games after this tbh. i didn’t see the hype of the dlc it was fun but just didn’t fit the re concept. but to each their own
I thought it was obvious that it was Ethan.
24:08 sometimes i wonder if this was a breaking bad reference.
we went from resident evil to silent hill.
Unfortunately...I like silent hill but resident evil and silent hill there own thing/identity, so when they did re village and then added rose dlc with "powers" I knew the fell from grace. One of the worst titles yet and a disgrace to the series
Surprisingly despite being the possibile most powerful being in RE series, Rose had the Most horrable story mode exprience ...
It was a great story and love how we get to see some type of resolve at the end
For the story & dlc for re 8 village it was fitting bc of the MM.....
This makes me feel ot can tie in with re Rev. 2 bc of how that ended....
Re can be fitting to og re & re 7 with that side & bc of the MM it can have this supernatural side like silent hill & the evil within which Is cool...
Resident Evil - CrucifIX confirmed
She would stomp every villain wesker included in the re universe at this point lol
Only a cuck would say such gay blasphemy such as what you just said 😆
@@SHARK_TASTIC. Go touch some grass, clown; You're pathetically insecure. Also, liking your own comments is pathetic.
