Thanks for the detail video 📹 if you don't mind me asking how many miles were on the Durango when had to change it just Curious. I have one as well 102,000 miles on it and like to start buy parts a head of when it's starts to Leak Cooling or even the bearings start to go out.
I'm glad it's not an internal water pump like the Ford Explorer, Ford Edge, Ford Taurus, Ford Flex, Lincoln MKT, Lincoln MKX, Lincoln MKZ and Lincoln MKS 3.5L/3.7L V6. Ford/Lincoln is just not the same anymore... I'm considering the Dodge Durango with the 3.6L V6 but will do some more research before pulling the trigger.
Whoa internal water pumps on all those wow that’s got to be a pain.. yeah my v6 dodge is pretty much straightforward not perfect but straight forward lol
@@mobeatsmo Yeah it seems like all brands got their own quirks and issues. I just found out RAM had a 3.6L V6 as well, same fuel economy as the Durango. I assumed the RAM always had a hemi or smaller V8
Nice video no stupid music no ridiculous commentary.. nicely done 👍
Appreciate it 💯
Thanks for taking the time to make our lives easier.

Right… same here I just found out about the ram too lol
Was there a gasket on the water pump? Might have missed that on the installation
Yes it comes with one
Didn’t get that on video sorry
Man I wish you were in Detroit area, I'd pay you to do mine.
I miss Detroit lol
Did you need to bleed the coolant to do the water pump?
Yes after replacing the pump you have to bleed the coolant at the bleed screw on the thermostat housing
Why did you have to change the water pump? If you don’t mind me asking
It was making a loud rattling noise the bearings were bad
Why didn't you use a metal crossover pipe from Dorman?
It was kind of an emergency.. I’m kicking myself in the butt now I literally just had to put one on
so that's the water pump?
Yes
