Excellent tutorial. I had no idea how the assembly fit together as I am considering painting or swapping my grill. Good to know what to expect. I just wish you had shown how to remove those plastic things inside the fender well without damaging them. Not a big deal tho, but it's always harder than it looks - and you made it look very easy. I might attempt it myself ...

Another great video. I just fixed my headlight harness after watching and commenting on your headlight removal. However, I won't be taking the grill off after watching this. lol. Just more involved than I'd like to tackle. Been thinking about painting to mimic a "black top" package. Will probably just tape and use Plasti-Dip with the grill in place. But, awesome video. Very informative and detailed.

I have 2014 Durango , I need to replace the low horn. Do I need to do all these steps to remove the grill to access horn in front of radiator?

Wonderful explanation with detailed information. I have a query, whether newer styled grills suiot my Durango 2013 model without any alterations ? Do I need to change the bumper also if so? Expecting your usual detailed reply
2011-13 durango’s have different sized headlights, so the newer style grill only fits 2014 and up.

I am showing that the procedure will be different. The grille is attached to the front bumper cover and needs to be removed with the font bumper cover.. The exact steps for removal will be about the same up to that point. I dont have a video on removing the grille from the bumper cover but it should be self explanatory once your at that point. I have a request hopefully you can help with. Could you make a video showing the intake and intake valves on a 5.7 L Hemi? There is lots of dispute on wether a catch can is worth it. I have a catch can on mine and am surprised how much oil and other things it catches. I couldn't imagine not running one. I have a boroscope but I don't know my way around the intake well enough to attempt to use it. Is it safe to put the camera in through the throttle body down through the intake?
+Chris Lerma I haven't seen a catch can on any of the vehicles that come into the shop so I cant say for certain if it has any real benefits. I don't think you will have direct access to the intake ports with the intake still on due to the design of the intake. You can try but I wouldn't hold my breath. The other method would be to remove the upper intake inorder to get access to the ports. Can you snap the lower grille back in place on Dodge Journey 2015 some bump it out of place
You can try with out removing the bumper cover. You need something to grab the grille with and try pulling it back in place. If not then the bumper cover will need to be removed and then you will have the access you need. Thanks for asking and make sure to subscribe.

I have a 2011 durango citadel. My question if I may, what has to come off in order to replace radiator
kidbowjb Evening. I have done just a radiator yet. Service info states front bumper cover, grille, upper radiator support, and ac condensor
If I wanted to just remove the red painted part on the grill would I still need to remove the bumper?
Unfortunately you will need to remove all the items just like in the video to get the grill off so that you can separate the parts to paint. Thanks for the question and make sure to subscribe

I would actually title this 2011-2013 because starting in 2014 the assembly is very much like that of the Jeep Grand Cherokee in that the grille is attached to the bumper cover. :)

Is it the same way for the 2018 Durango?
Its looking to be very similar. I havent done a video on that year model but the service info shows the same basic steps.

Then don't buy a Dodge! That is their identifier and I hate the new models now that don't have the crosshairs. IMO they ruined the iconic Dodge look.
