    I feel bad for Captain Ma'ah and his crew dying. There was a good bit of character development that showed he was an honorable Klingon, by killing his former captain to stop him from betraying the Klingon-Federation Alliance, and in this episode where he would not destroy an (apparent) disabled ship and only wanted to attack after threatened.

      Or abducted. I imagine they don’t want to reveal too much to keep the mystery going. Who is destroying all those ships… what is happening to the crews… why is it doing this? We will only know the answers later, but i have a feeling that it will tag a number of other ships before we get some answers.

      Boimler no, Mariner yes. I can see her being best buds with a Klingon. Boimler is too insecure to take a step like that. Of course, she might end up in sickbay, if the relationship went farther than that.

    I am glad that Ma'ah has the pet targ by his side, given how the targ betrayed it's previous master and saved Ma'ah's life, helping him become captain. It's good that Ma'ah respects that Targ.

    After the most recent episode, I'm leaving a theory here: all the lower deck crews of these various ships have actually been working together to get their ships hijacked so that they can finally get that "big break" that each and every one of them has been talking about in every one of these scenes. Waiting to see how this pans out

    The Klingon lower decker says Ma’ah got there by luck but eh became second in command by impressing the captain with his knowledge and then became captain by having the courage and honor to challenge the captain and then win using his skill and intelligence it’s a funny way to see how how these two are are treating their former friend’s rise

    • @Jokie155
      @Jokie155 Год назад +1

      It's a fantastic detail about the Klingons that sorely gets missed sometimes, particularly in DS9 I feel. There's a very early TNG episode where a child runs up to a trio of Klingon saboteurs, things get very tense for a moment, then the lead Klingon sends the child back unharmed and says 'There is no honour in taking hostages'.
      In DS9's case, I'm specifically thinking of 'Nor The Battle To The Strong', where the Klingons are depicted raiding a triage hospital. That just never sat right with me.

    • @MasterGhostf
      @MasterGhostf Год назад

      @@Jokie155One could argue that hospitals house combatants (even if injured). Taking hostages is cowardly, and firing upon defenseless vessels and individuals is cowardly but hospitals have soldiers who are recovering. They may be injured but they're soldiers and warriors; they should have been prepared to fight even if injured. Thats probably how they view it. If one is capable of fighting, they are valid, if not they are not. We humans usually decry that injured are defenseless.
