Its really great to see how much all of the main cast as friends make each other better just by being friends. All of them had great chemistry and helped with each other’s faults. We know Mariner had an EXTENSIVE starfleet history and a lot of crazy stories before them, but it wasn’t until she found “her crew” that she really started to grow as a person.
The concept of these ensigns sleeping in the hall is really bad and really stupid. Take the enterprise full crew, they can all go on a portion of the saucer section. Theres more than enough room for all the crew to get their own room. Let's consider the holodeck, it probably has a maximum size but they can make the holodeck the crew quarters. Shoot, it would make no sense that the commanding officers to get a private room to play poker but the rest of the crew sleep like they're stow aways. This show was funny but I really can't get into it in its serious nature which star trek should be some what serious. I only watched because the cross over episode. Then I got half way through and thought TOS cartoon was the best sci-fi cartoon made after a show. Stargate cartoon and this just feel like they're making fun of it and not laughing with us, which with Stargate was a good way for its huge established Fandom to say with one voice, no more Stargate, you guys don't understand! I'm basically asking that with star trek, they really screwed the pooch
When you actually know Star Trek and watch the full episodes of this show, yes. But luckily the show isn't only comedy, it has its fair share of serious moments as well.
So, this was the second chance I gave this... well-made Star Trek PARODY. Watched this video for 7 minutes, can´t bear any more. This show, while certainly of quality work, annoys me to no end. One moment they are almost as serious and well paced as the more conventional Trek shows.... and the next two to 4 moments they do childish, over-the-top and or just plain stupid stuff. ANYONE, and I mean ANYONE who considers this "better" than the likes of Discovery or Picard needs to get their brain checked for some sort of tumor. And now they´re even doing a crossover with Strange New Worlds? With Mr. Over-Eager and Mrs. Loud-and-Obnoxious? Prepare for the worst episode of Strange New Worlds ever when these two clowns show up. I´d be willing to accept this as a pure comedic parody. But they don´t follow through on that premise either with all the "serious" moments that are in there. And thus, for everything that is indeed very well done in this show... does it fail in one critical aspect, for me at least: It´s mindblowingly inconsistent. In practically everything. I hate inconsistency.
