I don't think I've ever heard a joke from Louis that I didn't find at the very least worthy of a chuckle, let alone hilarious. The man is a comedian's comedian. Truly a master of his craft. And yet he still manages to be incredibly relatable and make it look so easy. Genius.
Hi Sardino, I only just started watching this guy. He is a great comedian, just like Russell Peters and George Carlin. They are able to make you laugh while they tell you the truth. Hope that helps you.
People always cry after talented people who died. Louis is here now. Yes he is a little weird. But I knew that before all the shitstorm. He is THE funniest person I know in the world. Let him do what he does best.
@John Stamos - I sincerely hope that in the 7 years since you posted this comment that you have put down your guitar and concentrated more on spelling and grammar.
I've heard Louis on O&A talking about this monologue. I think it had just aired the previous night. Fascinating to listen to Louis talk candidly about his life and career on O&A while watching the shows / specials / interviews / SNLs he's talking about.
@@DannyOmu Yeah, I didn't find any of his funny. He probably was under pressure trying to come up with something new for this, and this is a very light for him, his humor is way darker

***** I know EVERYTHING about Louis's work, I have watched every official and non-official bit of his... you think he's trying to be poignant, ok, but he knows how to write jokes, and he clearly had more prepared, but decided not to say it cause he didn't get much laughs, and it lost momentum. Plus he may have forgotten the exact wording or something.
Louie hosted 4 times if I remember correctly, not sure if all of the monologues are clipped though. I believe this monologue was from his first time hosting
Felt like the crowd didn’t like him being negative to the old lady but couldn’t help laughing. They were more into it when he switched his tone to liking the old lady. Interesting to hear Louis with a different crowd.
I was watching this and thinking: "It's not his funniest at all, and he's kind of genuinely sounding like a jerk" (you can see the lady on keyboards at the back making faces in that sense), and all of a sudden he says "And she said a bunch of stuff that changed my life and I'll never forget it" and boom, redeems himself absolutely in the eyes of the audience, while making a great joke. He is SO good at doing this. Freakin genius, seriously.

That statement its totally not right.

Comedy....like many other things in life, is a subjective concept.
So your statement is not correct.
