My grandson bought one as soon as he got home from the Marine Corp. He races it except when he got by a detective. They couldn’t catch him because he out ran them. Got it home and in the garage. They told my son if he didn’t take that vehicle away from him until he could respect it, they were going to pull his license. He couldn’t afford that so he took one of his dad’s car and bought a Harley. I guess he plans on showing someone. It runs in the blood I guess. I’m 70 and I still race.

I read that all their packages don't include drive train component upgrade, unless the customer requests it, then that's additional charge on top of fhe package price and you void all your warranty..

@@dnice362 I don't disagree and I think are both badass American cars, but at $150K, the avg person will buy an AMG or M, unfortunately. I have a 2021 Charger Redeye and love every second of driving it. But the Caddy is an amazing ride too.
@@hellkitty1014 I agree I love the chargers hellcats but for 90 k is a lot for the dodge. And idk where you saw the CT4 V black wing or ct5 for 150k lol. The vette yes but not those black wings. And another point the C63s would be my second option at this price point. Only those 3. The dodge to me the scat pack wide body is the sweet spot I can agree with that price. And congrats on the wide body such a sexy car, I am a huge fan of it.

I have a Charger Hellcat Redeye Widebody. I got it custom ordered and have had it for about 6 months, absolutely love it. However, I don't see how the Hennessey could put the power down..... Also your Redeye package makes the same power as the standard Hellcat package. Seems odd to me 🤔
P.S. I use Android Auto too
What's real is that if you're concerned w/ mpg, you don't need to be driving a Dodge Charger.
Or any heavy V8 powered vehicle regardless of power output.

I'm assuming it's tuned to run on 93 octane. Tune it on E85 and it bet it would best truly next level....on top of next level.

I used to love these cars but throughout the years dodge has proven that they cannot find a way to put half its power to use. They’re burnout machines and that’s about it

It’s meant to be a smoke machine that’s how muscle cars started, it’s more about hp than grip. They even have burnout settings where the car will lock the front tires for you all you have to do is hit the gas.

@@jackpotna5530 there’s absolutely no way its doing 2.8 unless its on a prepped track and some fat slicks, on the street it’s definitely not doing high 2’s maybe 4 to 5 if you get an ounce of traction

My charger redeye did 2.98 on a prepped track with a 315/50/17 mickey Thompson et street r tire. No other mods or weight reduction. Tire only. Was able to manage a 3.8 0-60 on the street with same tire and a 3.9 completely stock on the street launching in 2nd and feathering the throttle. It's overkill at slow speeds but with patience you are able to muster a decent run. 1 out of 10 times lol

Warranty issue
Well 60-130 in a bit over 7s (based on the vid) is definitely not 1000hp even with 2ppl 😃. My 4 door sedan that weights jus raw much with a ~830 does it in 6.2-4
