Curious what you do to the transmission so it survives behind the 1200 hp.
People only start having issues around the 1400whp range on these cars. They’ll get some occasional slip in 4th at the end of the 1/4, but this is all on Tremec’s stock calibration since they have unlocked it yet. There’s upgrades clutches available, but no tuning to be able to use them
@@conor7154 the transmission in the 500 is a TREMEC 9070, super well built. The Audi s3/Golf R transmission is probably 5 leagues down lol.

How much to overhaul my 2016 Silverado ltz? It's got the 5.3 ecotech. I would start by switching my steering wheel buttons to gear shifters (the ones dash side) it's so silly they got it on the shifter by the haul button. But after that with motor and suspension how much?

This is why I always let mustangs pass. This spins through 100 so probably have to give it a little more space on the highway. You know just in case someone doesn’t know how to drive and gets one of these.

How does it HANDLE ?? This GT500 needs to have a cornering prowess of no less than 1.7G's [ watch 1:40 - 1:45]. Is the HANDLING up to par ?? It's safest that Hennessey only sell this to professional drivers.....'cause they have the reflexes to handle it.

I seen a guy have his stock mustang tuned to run on 87 when gas prices went. He raced a stock GT and got absolutely slaughtered. No point in having a car starve it self.

Nice, but spinning isn't winning. You have to adjust for maximum torque without breaking loose in each gear. I would love to see a drag race vs the Demon or Tesla Plaid. 😀 Beautiful vehicle though.

I have a twin turbo 18 mustang on e85 making 1380. It's fun but my c8 is way more fun to drive on the highway. The rear engine setup is the tits looking at a lmr twin turbo setup now for it.

Mustang fan all my life and this car is impressive to say the least. That said, horsepower is only good if you can get the car too hook and mustangs never accomplish that. A Porsche AWD Turbo S would own this car in a drag race from a dig.

I used to have a hellcat, and I switched to an AWD electric porsche, and I'm NEVER going back....
Why?
Because so what if my hellcat has 1000hp, I'm always in bad traction situations.. then i lose the race... and I'm like WELL IF THE PAVEMENT WAS DRY, IF IT WASN'T SO DUSTY, BLAH BLAH, always apologizing for NOT BEING ABLE TO put the power down.....
Enter the Porsche..... the thing blasts off the light IN THE RAIN. Like it's insanity. You just corner and stop and take off every single time, doesn't matter what the weather is doing.... you just win....
It's SO MUCH SAFER, so much more precise, the ride is so smooth... I'm silent and deadly... I haven't paid for gas in a year.... just plug it in at my apartment, so cheap and so easy!!! Ultra hard core performance, convenience, safety, etc.
No oil changes, no worrying about the car getting too hot or idling too long or NOT BEING ABLE TO DRIVE IT COLD... The electric porsche taycan doesn't care if it's cold, you just turn in on and it's CRAZY FAST, no waiting around for the thing to warm up after a cold start.
I'm just saying, when I get in gas cars now, I feel like I'm going back in time to an old crappy engine.
And there's no raw immediate power like with an EV.
