Hi! I consider myself a self-taught traditional artist, also self-taught in digital. I've drawn since I was about 7 or 8, I'm 30 my daughter's 6. I've never utilized my talent as a skill for income, mainly just for pleasure and entertainment. I've already conquered posting my art online, now I want to do something with it. I have times when I'm drawing where I was able to just draw and kick out drawings back to back. I just feel like I MUST find a way. I can't just have this for nothing lol 😅 My daughter's taken a interest in what I do but she like to animate 😊❤ so it's like I just have to see SOMETHING through. In my personal life, I held jobs and lost them and felt..a..bit insignificant based on that but one thing that always remained was the drawing. I thought about doing this, coloring books, as well as print on demand for decor and wall print. But I struggle on a daily basis in teaching myself the skill of selling and marketing, even though I can put out drawings 😅

You can use simple elements like shapes, lines, etc to create your own original work but if you are asking about images, you should only use images that you have purchased the rights to. My top recommendation is to hire an illustrator.

Thanks! Ads is one way to sell books faster but I do not run Amazon ads. I currently market my books on IG and RUclips. I also research before publishing to be sure the books are set up using the best keywords on Amazon.
Latoya, I’m having trouble with my images. When I upload them and fit them into the boarders, it enlarges the image too much and I lose features. Should the images be in pdf format?
After I create/produce my puzzle, coloring book, how do I make the puzzle/coloring book to a paperback so I can sell it on Amazon? It seems like a lot of people shows the content. There are tons of videos on that. I get the pdf. But who produce these paperback using my coloring book/puzzle?
I use Canva to put my books together and then save them as a PDF document. Amazon produces the books that you upload to their platform using KDP. partner.canva.com/latoyanicoleofficial I'm sure there's at least one video on my channel that can help you put a book together depending on where you are in the process.
