It's always Balance Of Terror. Don't get me wrong, that is a top tier episode. One of the best, in fact. However, this episode does not get the full appreciation it deserves. An undercover mission to steal the cloaking device from the Romulans...perfection. it's as treacherous as the Romulans themselves! Kirk becoming one, plus the deceptive romanticism between Spock and the Romulan commander. A top ten TOS episode as far as I'm concerned!
Episode illustrates the biggest continuity error in all of Star Trek--that 99% of alien races look exactly, or almost exactly, like human beings. This occurs over and over again throughout the original series. The Universal Law of Low Budgets--prosthetics is expensive. All Kirk needs, apparently, to pass for a Romulan is to have his ears pointed, and some eyebrow work done. Ridiculous, but we're talking low TV budgets here.

"Commander, the cloaking device is gone."
The very item they went to secure, and it was the largest item in the room in plain view, and it took them 7 seconds to notice it was missing? No wonder the Federation had not needed a cloaking device to stand against them all those years.
E eu saí e perguntei que horas o barco sairia e eles disseram que as 6 horas aí fui tomar um café em algum lugar.e quando voltei o barco já tinha saido
Why does the cloaking device look like a waterborne gourd?
Spock: "I see you enjoy rough play, Commander. Just as I had suspected, and hoped."
Funny the Priceline ad just came up lol.
