I'm a little disappointed in the new LC, 4runner & Tacoma.
Tacoma Trailhunter is the only trim aimed at the enthusiasts imo. Ford Bronco, Jeep Wrangler... these platforms are improving approach & departure angles, improving ground clearance with each new model.
Toyota's are getting worse approach, departure & ground clearance with each new model, they're going the wrong way.

A bit "tablet" looking screen slapped onto the dash rather than a nice integrated screen like most other modern vehicles. Tundra and Sequoia suffer the same horrid "tablet" slapped on the dash. When it comes time to replace our 4runner, looks like the Land Cruiser will get a a try from us. The screen is nicely integrated into the dash.

Toyota is out of their mind with these prices! I think the Land Cruiser is currently the best "deal" out there and both Tacoma and 4 Runner is 10k overpriced.

  • @DougWalker-l6p

Both are bad bets at msrp. Toyota/Lexus’s value proposition for the buyer is toast. The higher trims are priced way too high and the lower trims feel low quality for what they are. I purposely waited for the 24 Tacoma and passed on the 23 MY. Now I’m kicking myself and I decided it was best to put 3k in repairs on my old 97 Toyota pickup to keep in on the road.

I'm picking the Ranger Raptor. 4Runner is just not doing anything for me. Maybe it'll look better in a different color, but I don't think I'll be able to get over the interior. I just think the interior is very unpleasant looking. The Taco isn't even an option.

I'd much rather have a V6 non-hybrid like the new Lexus GX instead of the new 4runner or Land Cruiser. I don't want 4 cylinders, or the battery pack taking up space and adding weight. The GX 550 Overtrail starts at $69k so you're not even saving money getting the 4runner. What is Toyota thinking with these prices?!

This is due to inflation worldwide. This is why there is major election in Canada next year and Usa this year. Europe and Canada, cars like the Honda civic are selling for 40 to 47grand. Cummins Diesel was 47g, now selling for 75 to 140. Jeep Gladiator is selling for 67 to 130g in Canada. The cost of supplies, labour , food, rent have all doubled. This is all done by printing of USA dollar, which devalues the currency and spending power. This is happening Globally, and the men in power don't care. In Canada there is massive anger toward the government printing money, and nobody can't afford anything, And we were a very rich country next to states. VOTE KAMALA out of power, or see nothing change. Everyday the USA govt prints 80 million dollars a day; this devalues the currency
