Anybody that plans on going to college, don’t. Unless your career requires a specific degree than your hand is forced. But if you plan on going to college just to go because you’ve been told it will make you successful, do not go. Do not go and get a useless degree in a useless field that will most likely not help you in life. Instead, learn a trade. There are so many employers that are struggling to find people to work for them. I’ve seen certain instances where these companies will pay for an education in a certain trade and then hire you and pay you a great wage. Now of course this isn’t possible for everyone, but just saying. The worst advice you can be told is to go to college, UNLESS YOUR FIELD OF WORK REQUIRES IT (medical, law, etc).

No joke, I had my first semester of University this fall, and I paid $1000 worth of textbooks in a 24 hour period. Best part? I looked up one of the questions, and I found a Yahoo answer to that question FROM A DECADE AGO. This book has barely changed in 10 freaking years, and they expect us to buy a new one every. Single. Semester. Drives me nuts.
This educational system is so fked up. I pay over 1000 dollars each semester for old rented books that I am not even able to use without worries because if I "damage" them I have to pay them as new.
I risked not buying some textbooks for my college years. Guess what? I used Google and they have index cards of past college students who post their quiz, exam questions and had them answered correctly. I even bought an old textbook for one class and it was useful still. I saved money that way.

It was an Electrical Engineering Course, along with Broadcast Engineering, with was the the Military equivalent of the old FCC First Phone certification which was a very sought after item by many companies and broadcast stations. A two hour, 15 minute test to avoid three years in a classroom.

The start of this video reminds me of a really sweet moment me and my bf had. Occasionally my bf and i will look through the photos on our phones and just laugh at some of the stuff we have. We were going through my bf's phone one time, and i noticed he had a bunch of photos from a couple years ago. I was sitting at my computer, bangs pulled back, papers EVERYWHERE. I can go to college for a whole year in one of the top colleges in my state for 11,000$. Which is why I think the example of Yale is cherry picked for its circumstance. Anybody that plans on going to college, don’t. Unless your career requires a specific degree than your hand is forced. But if you plan on going to college just to go because you’ve been told it will make you successful, do not go. Do not go and get a useless degree in a useless field that will most likely not help you in life. Instead, learn a trade. There are so many employers that are struggling to find people to work for them. I’ve seen certain instances where these companies will pay for an education in a certain trade and then hire you and pay you a great wage. Now of course this isn’t possible for everyone, but just saying. The worst advice you can be told is to go to college, UNLESS YOUR FIELD OF WORK REQUIRES IT (medical, law, etc).

And even then, it would be better if children weren't part of rallies either way, as rallies do sometimes cause violence (though not always), and it might be tiring for the child to walk far, it might be too loud for the child, or the child may be taken pictures of and released on the internet, which could potentially be bad for the future of the child, though most of the time, it's alright.
In short: Child is young. Young children don't think much and they need to be taken good care of.

Best part? I looked up one of the questions, and I found a Yahoo answer to that question FROM A DECADE AGO. This book has barely changed in 10 freaking years, and they expect us to buy a new one every. Single. Semester. Drives me nuts.

This educational system is so fked up. I pay over 1000 dollars each semester for old rented books that I am not even able to use without worries because if I "damage" them I have to pay them as new.
I risked not buying some textbooks for my college years. Guess what? I used Google and they have index cards of past college students who post their quiz, exam questions and had them answered correctly. I even bought an old textbook for one class and it was useful still. I saved money that way.

It was an Electrical Engineering Course, along with Broadcast Engineering, with was the the Military equivalent of the old FCC First Phone certification which was a very sought after item by many companies and broadcast stations. A two hour, 15 minute test to avoid three years in a classroom.

The start of this video reminds me of a really sweet moment me and my bf had.
Occasionally my bf and i will look through the photos on our phones and just laugh at some of the stuff we have. We were going through my bf's phone one time, and i noticed he had a bunch of photos from a couple years ago. I was sitting at my computer, bangs pulled back, papers EVERYWHERE. (I remember i was doing school work and was getting frustrated.)
