I prefer to use an Exacto and apply the tape in long strands because I think it definitely wastes less tape, but overall they both work well.💯

Or u could use a sheet if tape and use a cutting machije like the brother scan and cut and then u save time
The concept behind that is correct but it’s very unlikely you’ll get a perfect cutout .
Nice. I have used the red stretchy tape (sorry forgot it's name) and it leaves a sticky residue...what do you recommend to remove that? As soon as I finish the roll I will most definitely switch to what your using
I think I know what tape your talking about and just rubbing it off with water should do it fine but I could be wrong

Could you use electric tape to get around curves?

Is there an all round good tape to use? I just finished my first paint for Jordan 4 midsole but the paint seeped under the tape due to acetone getting it wet so now theres white on the black. Only asking as I need to tape the white to paint the black but don’t want it to leak onto the white. Thanks in advance :)

There's also liquid masking, which is latex base and peels off very easily... I wonder, have you tried this on the shoes to mask off areas?! Would it work?!

The most important thing is the quality of the leather. Its sad if you put effort on a shoe that production cost in china or vietnam is under 5€. You pay more for the colors and in that time you put effort in that shoe, you can get money. So in that time you could get money but you spend money in color and time, so you will lose a lot. In that time you cant buy a bugatti maybe, but you could buy a handcrafted leather shoe with best leather quality of the world.
Its like Putin wearing 8-9k loro piana jacket. Outside is beautiful, but inside its a killer.
