I dont think its ever fair of me to tell someone what they should charge. Artwork is worth whatever someone is willing to pay for it, you just need to find the clientele who can admire the hard work you put into it. I think the goal when creating a video such as this one is to give you tips and ideas to help up come with what you believe is fair pricing since there's no one size fits all. If it takes you 30 hours but someones only willing to pay $200, that might also mean that you just haven't found the right clientele. That dent mean the artwork isn't necessarily worth it though. Sometimes you have to raise the value of your brand as well before others can see that value in your work. People pay for names
Yup gotta account for that, but sometimes you’ll have customers who want to provide their own... and sometimes you’ll have ones that say it just grab it for me
Hey, man... What about the shoes that are for sale on your website?? They look as if they are around retail price with your design on it.. So if I, the artist, am buying a pair of shoes.. Do I charge retail (what I bought them for), plus the price of the artwork on top of that.. That would take it up to around $350-$400, for a decent pair of shoes, for sure.. My question is, How do I make money if I am buying the shoe??
So our site was made at a different period years back, (you can’t check out anymore on there) where we were selling as many premade designs as possible... way lower margins. You absolutely need to charge if you’re buying the shoe.
When I first started I was hesitant to spit out numbers like $250, but now I use that as a starting number & go up from there.

I’m into hyperrealism, How much should I charge if I were to replicate an Elvis or Tupac even the Mona Lisa on the front side of a pair of canvas shoes taking in consideration it may take me three days to complete 👟
Do you compensate for the price of the shoes or does the customer provide their own pair ?
Yup gotta account for that, but sometimes you’ll have customers who want to provide their own... and sometimes you’ll have ones that say it just grab it for me
can you customize hypor ko boxing shoes?
Thanks, love ur channel!
Thank you for your support!
