I don’t know if you’ve mentioned this but as a side note...turning up the brightness on your screen will help you get a better, cleaner, image. It’ll really pop behind the tracing paper.

you would also need acetone or angelus leather preparer/deglazer to clean the finish companies put on shoes before painting or tracing your image onto the shoe

The crepe tape that you use is see through and makes it really easy to make stencils or to block off the characters you already made to add in backgrounds if you're good with a knife

This trick works especially good for portraits! First project I did with a portrait I was real nervous about it, this method helped out tremendously
Omg thank you so much for this because I was trying to figure out how to make a stencil for my makeup looks and this helps a lot. I can't figure out how to adjust the size and print it out, doing this works way better so have the true size I need with doing a before sizing then drawing onto the actual image and I'm going to use tattoo transfer paper so that'll definitely work out great.

That’s crazy. In the beginning I was like omfg that’s too much paint wtf is he doing, but then it dried and then you added the outline and I can visibly see everything much clearer and it turned out crazy. You should’ve showed blending the water from the different shades

Yeah you can get away with just prepping the area you plan to be working in
Hey Dillon, if i can give an advice, there are some apps which allow you to lock the touchscreen ! So what I'm doing is just going to my gallery, zoom in to find the good size and use the app to lock the touchscreen, then I can put my fingers on the paper without worry about moving the picture ;) very very useful!

You can use parchment paper instead of using tracing paper
Do you use a protector spray for the shoes so the art doesn’t fade? Is so what do you use?
3D printed TPU filament stencil works too
Yup any stencil would work, but this is a tutorial on as little equipment necessary as possible
