The show was SUPER busy, great to meet you! RUclips can be a real grind at times and real life happens, I try to get one video out a week but there's times when it's just not possible and I just have to accept it. It's tough having a full time job, a family and keeping content flowing. I say stick with what you are doing, it's working, I've toyed with doing simpler videos just to have something to put out but that's not why I started my channel so if I have to skip a week or two so I make something I'm happy with then that's what I do.
Hi Paul. Firstly, as regards health, I do hope you’re ok. Sending healing thoughts to you man 🙏. Stay stress free if you possibly can. As regards the channel….? I can totally relate to the feeling of not being sure what direction to go in. You mention the typical “5 things I hate about my bla bla” type of videos that seem to attract lots of views. And yet, if I tried that, I think it would come across as not genuine and just a bit click-baity. So I gave up that idea a while ago and now just release a vid when I have something to say musically. That works for me, but hey everyone is different. What I do like about channels like yours is the level of sincerity and genuine-ness that comes with not chasing 100k subs all the time. Anyway, keep going and the direction that you’re meant to take will eventually reveal itself. 🤘
I was inspired to get a T59V and a couple of other Eastman's based on your feedback, but I am playing the T59V most of the time also. Mine has the Seth Lover pickups as i preferred them to the antiquities but i can't put it down! Regarding the content, id love see some in depth or history of style pieces. Maybe starting with the history of Eastman. Five Watt World YT channel does quite a bit of this, and i find it very interesting. I hope you and your family's health improves soon.
@@Paul-D The t64 is my second best guitar investment and quite different from the T59 in sound. I have the one without the Bigsby like the one you demonstrated awhile back. I tried the Bigsby version but it felt unbalanced. It's a Rock and Blues machine for sure. Good luck the purchase, I hope to see a video on it soon 🙂
Good to hear that you're playing loads and hope you get your health sorted. I've pretty much lost interest in someone doing maybe 2 or 3 videos every week, feeling that they have to stick to a schedule, all seems very forced. Would rather just see decent content whenever it's available, even if that means big time gaps. It's probably because I'm spending many of my evenings out watching music & drinking beer so I have less time for RUclips!
A Q&A episode once in a while would be cool with me, hope you get to feeling better soon. Thanks!
Noted!
I’m crazy about my T59V . What a guitar!
Hope you’re on the mend my man . Health is everything.
I played in Cheltenham the other night
I go out my way to find something as good or better…. And i just cant find anything lol. My friends T64v is also on that level though tbf.
I have both, and love both, but the T59V gets played most of the time.

Yeh its very annoying, but its definitely the way RUclips wants you to work. Even the small channels lol
What I would like to see is live playing with backing tracks let it go just play what ever you feel in the moment
