I usually attach two small containers to a ship in some nook.
One for emergency Air & fuel.
    The other a survival kit.
    Multi-tool, rations, tent.
Heater, condenser if going off planet.
Even spare carbon for blocks to patch a hole.
My first time getting off the starter moon my SV took a missle in the hull making a hole where the warp drive was.
Basically started me over again in a tougher biome!

Thanks for your videos. Your RE playthru and these tips videos got me and the wife into EGS a couple of weeks ago and we're loving it. Your playthru's are showing us possibilities in the game we never knew were there which is improving our game time so again, thanks!

    Additional Tips:
After you made you some Protable Constructors, Water Condenser and a Heater produce at least 30 Food Stripes and just let them sit in the output of your Suit Constructor not touched. Additional start making you 100 Bandages and let them just sit there also.
Its for the rare Situations where you have forgott everything or be just out of Wifi Range in a corner hiding from Enemie Fire with your Inventory empty.
Also Carry some of the O2 Bottles from the Condenser in your Ship and in your Inventory. You can fill both with it.
Allways Carry some Water. Not only to cool off or extinguish yourself :P but you can quickly produce emergency O2 in your Suit if needet. (and take out Bandages for it)
For Emergency Fuel/Pentaxid/O2 (and Ammo or Ration Packs) i use the Small Containers in my HV/SV (unfortunatly there are is no option to hide from F4 and no Interior Blocks like on Large Grid)
In CV and Bases i Use a Locker (not the Closet) the Table, the Medical Table, The Cryo Chamber and the Gas Zylinders and Energy Capacitor thing from the Deko Blocks.
All of them dont show up in the F4 menu. So you can use it as emergency Storrage when all F4 Containers are empty.
The Gas Tubes and Energy Capacitor i like to place next to Constructor and Fuel Tanks or Warp drive.
I store a nice Combination of Fuel, Pentaxid and O2 Bottles from the starting world Condenser in it.
The Medical Table and Table is a nice Asset to have next to Respawn points with some Ration Pack, O2 Bottles, Bandages. Spare Ammo (allways a Epic Pistol and some Rounds next to me Capt Bed you know.. in case the Crew gets rouge :P )
The Cryo Pod would life next to the Medical Chamber on the Way out of the ship on one side of the Walkway.
The Locker is often on the other side placed next to the Armor Locker ond O2 Station.
Same Arrangement can be made in Hangar Enrtanced or onTeleporters.
All this gives you a nice Roleplay Feature, Backup Rations, Bandages and O2 some Ammo (spare Motocycles and Constructors laying arround dont cluttering your F4)
You can also make you a standard routine if visiting traders eitheer via Telporter or on Food or using you Vehicles.
Put all your Combat Inventory in an Empty Locker next to the Teleporter or so with only one click.
Switch to a Heavy Armor with Transportation and an EVA on The Locker next to you.
F4 your seling stuff in and organise your connected boxes. Maybee you have storred some important Items in the Locker you need to sell or take with you. You can also Use the CryChamber next to it for this.
Now Go Out do your thing. Come back.
Unload Inventoriy via F4. Switch Back to your Light armor or what ever Casual Dressing you Like (i would realy like to see some Suit Variations and No Suit Clothing ;P).
Take back your Stuff from the Closed with only one click and you are Done ready to Roll out.
Also i carry a Assault/Pulse Rifle and aditional a Laser/Plasma Rifle as my Primary Weapons. Reason is they use different ammotypes.
If one is broken or Amo is out i can switch to the weaker version with almost same behaivior and go on with the Job or fight my way back.
Its also sometimes more easy to produce one amotype than the other. So the one with less in reserve will be not used untill i have to.
This also gives me a "reload" Type switch Option if i am surprised visiting a Trader with empty inventory out of Ammo. Since the Weapons in the Toolbar are loaded with one Strip.
At Someday we get Small grid Tables and Closets (and Toilets and Showers and Food processor). And more different Models of all of This (and a usefull Long Range Radar Dish in Vanilla ;-) )
    and more as one Toolbar!

Lol, that took a while to read! All good points that not all boxes show in wifi, and yeah, you can personalise all your gear as you see fit depending on what you're doing and where you're going! Thanks for watching, and I'll go through your list again for content I could use for another vid!

I learned a few things from this video. I wish I thought of placing down a tent. I was on a nasty planet, ship destroyed, and base too far for me to walk from if I had rez there. Plus it had very little supplies. So I ended up choosing the option of getting rez killed over and over till I finally got into a spot that the turrets couldn’t blast me to a pulp. lol 😝

hehe, yes, death loops suck and totally chew through your armor's durability! Either use a tent or you can also check my deployables.

@@Rakoona I do have an annoying issue. My computer is a potato and I have to use GeForce NOW to play the game. Because of that, I can't use mods. I can't access anything on the workshop either. I thought I could run the program on my computer just long enough to add something in but It seems like I can't access my saved files that's saved on NVIDA's server. I thought it would have been on the Steam cloud.

@@ColinTimmins All save files should be in the empyrion app folder. And yeah, this game is demanding! You need a Good Super Golden Potato to run it smooth!

Yeah...I can only do spray-and-pray weapons in games. I'm actually really good with a sniper rifle in some games, but only where cover and stealth actually matter. Which, in EGS...they do not, at all. I was thoroughly hated in games like Goldeneye, Halo, and Timesplitters.
Try as I might, my brain simply will not accept the translation of what I think should be a certain motion to aim a weapon...into the actual key/button press to make it happen in the game. It just won't put those two things together. Games like Duck Hunt and The House of the Dead...I'm John fuckin' Wick. Anything that uses a mouse, keyboard, or gamepad...I'm almost totally helpless. I was terrible at The Force Unleashed on most consoles, but did exceptionally well on the Wii.
      So, if it's not a spray-and-pray weapon in EGS, I just don't use it...cuz I suck.

    • @Rakoona
      @Rakoona  2 года назад

@@DoremiFasolatido1979 Well, I always carry a variety of weapons and use them depending on the situation. I'm better with mouse and keyboard myself, haven't played much of the other consoles lately so my aim is terrible whenever I actually manage to pickup a controller.

@@Rakoona It's weird because I'm really good at abstract comprehension when it's something that has no "real-world" equivalent, like say cosmology. It's real, but there's no comparison to it in our daily lives, and I visualize it pretty easily.
But trying to change something I would otherwise physically do into such an abstract action as pressing a key or button...I just can't do it. It's just weird.
