First... don't forget to put your helmet on (lower left screen icon) when in space. Also, go looting for EVA's on the planets. You will find one.

LOL yeah, he was checking jetpacks and 1st person, but not that his helmet wasn't on!
The flag on the plantation is a part of the chiefs quest to help some plantations and then he will have a quest for you. It will be canceled as soon as you go to orbit. Then you have to talk to the chief again to start it back up. Does that sv you got have short range warp ability? If so you won as soon as you spawned it in. If you go to the system asteroid field you can mine for exotic ore from asteroids or the planetary remnant AND you can sell light armor by the 100's to the mining platform and get rich, buy ores make warships. If you warp to Omicron, all the old quests are there plus a hefty bunch of xirax. The Xirax there have been buffed a bit. You should love it! Make a base there to enjoy base attacks. Love the vids!
Some amount of gold rocks are on all planets but they are rare. Golems have some chance to drop gold too. Maybe you can head next to ice planets and hunt for golems in mountains/arctic. Look for rocks around lakes. Also, you could get mods and medium armor from abandoned towers, submerged tanks and other POI-s.
hey kage you might want to put your helmet on next time you go into space it could help you breath lol.

Also, you forget to check that SV ship in space, you can collect warp drive, pentaxid tank and bunch of medium thrusters and generators for SV

Aim for the emergency rations, you can make a farm to grow literally all the ingrediants for it, and it doesn't need to be refrigerated at all.
When in space you have two thing to look at when checking that resources. Top right of screen there are tabs one for orbit resources and plant resources. You was checking the orbit tab

The Zeno stuff is used to make alien blocks. They "heal" damage after a short time of not being damaged from what I remember. That way you can have a ship/building that heals it's self.
@25:03 I went there yesterday, and found the EVA boost in that structure you are looking at - only it was a different structure, looking kinda like a satellite, with solar panels sticking out on each side, and i could dismantle it with my multitool.
@37:32 You get sathium plates if you salvage those radio active xeno alien blocks that you are shooting at.
On Akua I find a tiny amount of gold at the poles along the border. but sadly I wasted on coins because I wasn't aware that I needed it for the EVA. Also, go underwater on that planet for promethium stones.
fix that transporter in space, take a core, Omicron has the polaris megacorp that buys the sniper rifles, I did it without an EVA boost, wear your helmet and if you get cold go back to your ship, you shouldn't have to go far from it, until you teleport.
The activator POI most likely had its core set to public meaning you were able to remove its fuel. You can select that core and set it to private so that POI will belong to you. Then you can remove whole blocks.
im getting a very nostalgic star wars galaxies vibe off this game. I reckon this is going quite high up on my wish list!

Awesome video Kage! I enjoyed that POI visit to the Vessel Yard. I am surprised that Omicron did not show any gold for you.... my map showed Omicron and another planet as having gold. I will check on Masperon and see if I can't find the name of the POI that I found 20 gold ingots in. Really enjoying your revisit to this series! Keep up the good work.
I think loot - and even certain POIs - are different with different seeds. At least i found a completely different structure in the asteroid field where Kage stopped @25:03 - and it had an alien container with the EVA boost and other nice loot. And it was salvageable...
@@EspenFrafalne Interesting that you found a different POI there. He had the exact same POI's I had in nearly identical spaces. But yes, loot containers will have very different items in them, even on the same map seed. The RNG makes sure of that. I came across that station thanks to the POI on Omicron where I discovered the teleporter to get out into the asteroid field.

Kage ol buddy, you dug up everything at that activator sight EXCEPT the activator, LOL. The only reason I know is my activator was visible when i went to it plus I could see the bottom of the one you were at above all that other stuff you dismantled. It kinda looks like 2 skinny pyramids attached at their bases with the points at the bottom and top. I have no idea what it does cuz I didn't screw with the one I found. So if you wanna know what they do, go back and finish digging the top of that mound.

when you went to explore outside in space you forgot to apply your helmet around 24 min
You can check where is the spawner, aiming with a multitool Kage
Unfortunately, the 'jelly bean ore' that requires the ore scanner is back. Vegetables are converted into plant protein and that is turned into meat. Also, there are gold nuggets in some of the lakes. Don't remember which world though. So keep on diving!
That would be on Akua Temperate Starter
If you find a small shipyard on the starter planets, I highly recommend exploring it.

I understand why but the fact that the top speed of 130 meters per second is less that 300 mph is kinda funny. We have land vehicles that go faster than that. 😂
It hurts my soul to watch Kage miss Alien crates....Just make a warp drive and visit Omicron.
You can get a lot of gold on the starter planet akau, sorry forgot name, it's at the bottom of a large lake. Can be a little hard to see with all the plants there. Has 2 other rare ores too.

It's a good game, and I enjoy watching you freak out. But, unfortunately, that was beaten out of me from surviving Alien Isolation on nightmare mode and too many horror movies.

Gold can be found as boulders in the arctic biome on Azura.
As well as on top of mountains and in the seabed, literally tons in the mountains.
Gold is in your planet at the poles
I found some gold on your seed at 2113, -247, In the mountains.
Speaking of gold and this is just speculation but info panels didn't say akua had promethium but there was some in the water so maybe gold is like that not listed but there somewhere.
Bit of a spoiler but it seem that you missed the Function of th Obelisk. If you visit a certain Poi (bookmarked via the computer terminal you found) then you get access to the Obelisk. Think you would have found it a pretty awesome feature in th new start.
can you make a collection on steam for the ships you use in your series or if you do can you add it to the links in the description.
When you fill a tank with bio fuel if you take it back out it is small promethium fuel packs which is helpful early game to be able to make multi and drill charges. Gold and cobalt surface ores are at the poles on Akua ;)
I’m on Akua and I can’t mine any gold from the poles. It tells me “You cannot do this near the poles.” I see so much gold but can’t harvest it.
You must be thinking of reforged eden, charges in vanilla take pellets, not fuel packs.
@@johnmcbride4146 True, you can only go so far into the poles, I found a number of them close to the edge but it could just be my seed.
@@RichardRitenour0522 same. I found a few but only enough to make 2 or 3 ingots. Haven’t had any luck on the other moons yet. Still searching.
Maybe power up and use that teleporter you found to go to Omicron, get the gold or an EVA or whatever you need there, teleport back?

you realy gotta use the drone for mining and scrapping. i made an exit elevater juist for my drone inside my CV just so i dont have to leave the ship.
You can delete all your waypoint in the registry P menu
And when you need them back you can turn them on again, the ones you want
The MREs used to have no spoil timer. and they are I seem to remember pretty easy to make. Granted I have nto been able to play the new update much because its keeps overheating my system

theres gold in them there hills (literally gold bearings in the hills biome areas)
Apparently all the activators need a key but I have no idea what or where that key is.
If you your ship detector at 299 away it identifies unknown points

Looks like the AI is still not performing well. I'll keep my playthrough off until I see that progress.
Also, spawners, unless a teleporter used by intelligent species, should have enemies in BEFORE they're visible. I HATE the 90's era enemy appearing in front of you ideology.

I just left Akua for the first time and found out when I got back that I didn't have enough fuel to power base. So, 1 large fridge full of items, rotten, 18 farm plots, dead. 😂 Idiot!
If you plan of leaving for a long time, make sure you have a full battery or lots of fuel in your fuel tank and make sure to turn off everything you do not need to conserve power. If you are worried about your plants you can dig them up and put them away in a box until you return as the seeds do not need refrigeration to survive.
