In 2 years, I tried a variety of shoes for pickleball, this video is my quest for the Perfect Pickleball Shoes - from Adidas to Fila to Acacia. See the full evolution of my pickleball shoes preference from day 1 to the present. BTW, this is just my unorthodox journey to find the right shoes, so if you have your own journey or footwear suggestions, I'd love to hear it.

I recommend basketball shoes as well. Specially ones from Chinese brands as theirs are made more for outdoor use. I personally use a pair of Way of Wade Son of Flash for pickleball. 3 months in and I have some minor wear towards front toe area. Probably another 2 to 3 months left in them. And mind you this is playing on asphalt courts. Highly recommend them! Basketball shoes tend to have more cushioning than tennis shoes as well.

I've heard this a lot; I might have to try the basketball route. Wade Son of Flash is intriguing, although it's pricier than I expected.

@@talvids more affordable than most flagship tennis shoes. At least in the US. Also, if you can order from tennis warehouse, several of their tennis shoe models have a six month outsole warranty guarantee.
