Which is your favourite of the 3 or should they be left in 2023?
I'm wearing a black Samba for football today and the same shoes for the office tomorrow, so yeah.
I always default to black, white or off-white shoes. Something about coloured shoes I just dont like. I guess I'm just into a more monochromatic look and majority of my clothes are neutral colours.

Handball Spezial, I used to wear them back in 2010-2012 , and just got a new one
none of them. They have a too thick sole and look way better on girls imo.
I picked up this year Samba x Kith version and Campus 80 as a every day bitters.
Started wearing all of them since 1979… the Samba was advertised as an indoor soccer shoe, the handball special for what his name says and the gazelle was the cheaper brother of the handball spec. The gazelles sole is too soft, the samba leather is too rigid ( for me), the handball spec. will always be my no.1; in navy with light blue stripes…❤
The Samba "budget" version feels really cheap and hard to break in, these days. The leather upper doesn't deserve the term "leather" IMO. The nicer versions also feel a bit overpriced. But which classic shoe doesn't ;)

Spot on regarding your verdict on the Sambas. I've got a bit of wide feet and felt that tightness around the middle part as well as the rubbing against my ankle at the time I was breaking them in. Comfort has improved somewhat after multiple uses, thankfully. And finally, I wholeheartedly agree with the comfort factor on the Gazelles, though I'm basing this on the classic non-indoor Gazelles, and they're the ones I can comfortably slip on without having to untie the laces. Alas, I've never had the Spezials but am currently looking at a black/gray Cordura pair and perhaps may treat myself with them for Christmas, lol. Kudos as always to your video and enjoy the holidays.
Thanks to your channel, I rediscovered two pairs of the Gazelle Indoor (black & white) in my cellar a few weeks ago. I had forgotten about them, but now I wear them a lot. Thanks Harry!
The vintage pairs are cooler in that shoe so you might have some decent pairs there

The good thing about adidas trainers is that they are timeless they never go out of fashion. Similar with Nikes. I have a pair of blue handball spezials and they’re probably my favourite adidas to date. I’ve had the superstars and gazelles in the past but I think the handballs are the best.
Can’t put my finger on it but spezial just look good on me compared to the other two.
I was somewhat hesitant initially because I see them everywhere, but I’ve come to love my black spezials.

The fact is these silhouettes are the greatest of all time. The Samba itself sold more than 35 millions pair worldwide since 1949. The number just keeps rising. And because soccer or football is the most popular sport in the world. It got even better. I wore the Sambas before the pre hype era. My first 3 sambas were all collabs and man they are a rarity now. One of them from Pharrell Williams, Starcow and Livestock.

I think the green ones are the most beautiful, specially with this indoor sole. I've just got them from Asos and I love them. Mine also came without the white laces.
i had a pair of busenitz years ago and i been wanting another pair again. theyre a skate shoe and have that big tongue like the samba OGs and suede upper that gives it a more refined look, plus padding so theyre not rough on the heels

I’ve always loved sambas while one of my brothers wears almost exclusively gazelles. We each love a different silhouette I’ve had a friend tell me she thought they looked like bowling shoes, but I love them and have all ways found them effortlessly chic. The point is find which you like and is comfortable and wear them. The heel tab in sambas is a bit higher just mush it around and it will soften up also a bit of alcohol before initial break in wears helps them out. I find often people fail to realize that even though it’s a sneaker it is leather and the material will soften with wear.
I've had some handballs for a good while, and more recently picked up the shadow green gazelle indoors and quite literally googled wtf the difference was between these and the Samba like 2 weeks ago, great timing!
from what I've worn, the Handballs are a go to in B/W super comfy and they don't show how beat up they are. Though I love my Kith x Clarks Samba, I can't really use it to judge Sambas since I've never had a normal pair (picked up a WB Samba to try with the funny tongue, hated it and sold em shortly after)
the funny tongue is the futsal version of samba it is not meant for casual wear
Does these sneakers give away the traction sound from the outsole? Just as the Nike dunks give while walking on a smooth surface
I like the busenitz. I feel like it’s a similar style with a bit more of a difference and they dont sell out so fast, and have different colorways. I have two pairs. A green and black pair, and a white and pine pair. They are probably some of my favorite shoes.
I used to wear busenitz but due to the uncomfortable sole, i dislike handball due to that both use the same sole
I’ve always owned vintage/classic adidas sneakers. I personally own all 3. I love them all. You can’t go wrong with any of them. I will say however… I think anytime I wear sambas, I get noticed.

spezials are my personal favorite - they actually run TTS and i love the rounded laces + structure of the shoe. agreed that the gazelles are the best in fun, colorful colorways but they run a half size big and not a fan of the looong laces

I have the samba and the gazelle and love both. I guess I find the gazelle a but comfier but both are great.

I would recommend the adidas samba Decon, I think it will address the problems that you have with the regular samba. It’s a very soft leather and the deconstructed heel doesn’t create a hot spot on the heel (at least for me)

Hello, I have a 27.5 cm Puma Palermo, do you think the Gazelles share the same size?
Love my pair of Spezials since I bought it. I only have some trouble styling them with wider pants. They go very well with my array of Dickies 874s though.

I picked up the white sambas at a good price on Black Friday, my first wear in them and they destroyed the back of my heels, there was blood coming through my socks! I hope they don’t take long to break in fully!

For me, Spezial are just that little bit wider across the toes and it makes a world of difference. Candy coloured Gazelles are the prettiest tho

Are the gazelle indoor SCARLET for men?
Love the Gazelle ( green) however, no matter what , it’s all a personal choice. I tried it but I don’t have one because, as 5’6 height , I don’t like too flat hahaha unless I’m like you 6 Footer ( 5’8 my ideal wish ) Nike Air & Jordan’s most of my sneakers. Picked up handball spezials and tobacco Gruen in Bangkok in August last year happy with both. It's a struggle to find these type of shoes in regional Australia. One has to make the most of it when travelling.

i actually prefer the original Gazelles, they have a more classic look and aren't as flat, i had a pair like 10 years ago and i'm planning to buy a new pair next year to start reviving the adidas part of my collection
Yeah, the older ones look a lot nicer. Some of them look quite similar to the Gucci pairs, which is why I think they changed the standard pairs a bit today

Sambas can be an absolute nightmare for your feet in the first few wears. I find the gazelles and onitsukas much more comfortable than samba and spezial
after the first 2 days the whole foot hurts and especially the heel. Will it get better over time or will the pain remain?
I got some spezials collecting dust in my garage from 15 years ago. Should cash in and retire lol. My guess is next on the Adi rotation will be Gazelle “vintage” with the folding heal flap.

i think the reason they didn't include the white laces in the green gazelle is to prevent from having the same aesthetic as the gucci collab, which came with white laces

Wore Country's, white with green stripes in the late 70's. Have over 25 different pair now. They fit and I always feel sure footed. Quality for dollar. Impressive workmanship in Vietnam, highly skilled Vietnamese. My sambas, Gazelles, Stan Smiths, Spezial, Busenutitz all great quality materials and workmanship. Satisfied US customer

The classic Handball's were always available in blue/white and in white/black. I always thought it was to separate them from the Samba's. The black HB aren't around that long (20 years?).
The Samba's actually are an indoor/hard court football shoe :)
has anyone else experienced problems with the weirdly low lacing of the Gazelle Indoor? It's so low that my foot slips out so I had to return it. For size 12 its around 2cm wider than the Spezial.

Adidas shoes are like pokemons for my obsessive ass. I have at least 1 pair of every model mentioned in this video. They are amazing and I love how Adidas keeps bringing different colorways through their City series or even just the Originals program. Currently waiting on my Malmo colored Handball Spezials.

Definitely Gazelles. They are great fit and great colourways. Have Sambas in white but always go back to the Gazelles b/c of the fit.

I’ve been in shoes and boots most recently. My sneakers have definitely taken a back seat.
I bought two pairs of Gazelles in Italy and the tongue fabric was way more comfy (same material and colour as the rest of the shoe). Now Gazelle tongue feels like cheap plastic that hurts your feet and it is white. I can't find the Gazelle I like even in Adidas store 😢

i love them all...however....the pointy toe box will kill you after a while....i have no switched to birkenstocks or barefoot shoes like xeros or shapen barefoot shoes.
I guess you would only know this if you play soccer, but the sambas are one of the most common soccer shoes indoor especially. Growing up every Hispanic kid had a pair for that reason, kind of weird to see them trending now, awesome tho there a great silhouette
