Its interesting how no one is giving up dyno numbers on these AM500 set ups, I suspectthe power is not that much, the AM500 is too small for a engine bigger than 1200cc, you spin it fast & the efficiency falls through the floor.
There is a few ppl out there with dyno number stock 1600 with amr500 pita out around 130hp with 9-12 psi my motor only make 5-6 psi it’s 1835 now it was a 1915 never had it dyno I built it for looks and fun it’s not a drag car but with that 1835 paired with the ar500 it’s a snappy car. The motor is getting a few changes hope to have it done soon hope to push the boost from 5-6 to 8-9 or more
@@FatsoTRE curious why you went back to the 1835. Trying figure out what route I want to go, and was thinking 1914, but it sounds like the AMR 500 is better suited for a smaller engine with stock or near stock cam.
I'm late to this party - but that's sweetness if I ever saw or heard it - - I would be curious about some of the details: is it hard to get the mixtures correct with the blower or is it like constantly running rich etc? Do you in fact get better low end unlike turbos that really need to spoil up first? Seeing as this vid is older - are you happy you went with a blower over turbo? Regardless, thanks for posting, one last side note, have you found a better place for the oil filter? Seems like it would be subject to excess heat off of the exhaust system in the area you have it here. Thanks
I know im late to responding but generally one has to put in some sort of fuel regulator to make sure the engine runs at the right mixture, basically increasing the amount of fuel linearly with the amount of boost pressure- follow the fuel line in this video, you can see that it hooks up behind his coil to some sort of external fuel pump that likely does this job.
well apparently you can the is a video on it . mine just seized up not good trying to get warranty on it . a pice of the coating broke off . & seized it up .
I was thinking of using this same setup in my triumph spitfire 1500 Drawing through, and running fuel through the supercharger. Did you have to do anything special To your ignition to prevent detonation?, megasquirt, safe guard, 123 dizzy, or just standard Also what carb did you use? Any jetting issue? How many PSI?
Hi Ron these little crappy Chinese made blowers or are only good on motors up to around 1200 cc's. The good rule of thumb on sizing and boosting is this. Turbocharged 4 cylinder engines and supercharged V6 and V8. I put one of these AR 500s on my riding lawn mower thing rips LOL hope this helps since the channel owners not going to do it
Beautiful engine

what is the power output supercharged with e85?
I wanted to know which model of the blower you are using and how you made the flanges to put the carburetor and the collector
Aisin AMR500 Supercharger overdriven by a factor of 3 from the crank? That SC has a max rpm of 16000 or so.
Nice !

Me likey me likey a lot
What HP #s are you getting with the AMR500? This is the set up I want!
I’m not sure I’m making about 6 lbs of boost on this 1835
👍
Is there a kit for the super charger or did you have to make your own kit
What was the total cost to set up
Que arbol de levas trae maca gradode apertura
seriously we need dyno numbers

How many PSI?
Don't you just love it when the people post a video but Never get back to you to answer your questions...
@@garyjones2582 bunch of bullshit isn't it?! I have no respect for such folks as this to hell with them.

Horsepower mate.....?
What blower is that?
Amr 500
I just don't see how that blower has enough volume to feed that stroker motor.
so im making about 6 psi at 3800 RPMS
Qual motor de partida?
How much hp are you making?
did you change the direction on you charger
No I did not
Is the supercharger still working properly turning that direction? I have burnt up three of them so far turning that direction. Thanks in advance!
hi
What its under the carb?
antbarrimont it’s amr500 supercharger
@@kjk8325 BETWEEN BOTH
antbarrimont adapter plates, I think
Looks like oil lines are connected. If so is it an oil cooler and intake warmer to prevent carb icing?
Coll built what psi??
7 psi
