@@berrysblowers6411500 Holley would make it scoot! But holley does make an Autolite 1100 style one barrel sniper unit along with a unit similar to a Carter BBD Two Barrel. I also think a great carb to use on this would be a Weber 32/36 Progressive Two Barrel
It's possible you could use your dual carburator as a blow threw system but it would require more parts than just a blower. Thank you for your interest
Brilliant video. Does pulley size influance the psi the blower puts out? Ratio rockers say 1.25/1 help will with breathing more air into the motor? Electronic or vacuum boost gauge = what is the best? Distributor std bosch with petronix or after market kits is the best too use?
The ignition is a 009 size with a 90 degree cap and yes smaller the pulley more the boost but I highly suggest a stock blower pulley on a 1600. And yes ratio rockers help
The motor in my '69 is out of a '75, and it doesn't have the holes drilled for the mechanical fuel pump. Would I just need to use your bracket as a template and drill them myself to install your kit?
The older busses don't have room above the alternator for the carburator to clear the upper tray, so we flipped it. It was not my idea. A gentleman asked me to finish what he started and he now has the full kit and if he is happy and all workes well I will offer them. Thank you for your interest
I tried to get to berry's blowers and I could not get any were. I am a old man with a sand rail, pushing 110 hp and I think I need more. Can some body tell me how get get one of these blowers?
Man this is rad! 100% my next purchase for my 68.
That honestly looks like what a factory setup would have been! Very cool and great work ( also would look and work mint in a Bus )
Thank you. That was the look I was going for. We now have more carburator intake options
@@berrysblowers6411 I’m curious how it would run with a appropriate CFM four barrel Or even a Holley sniper kit.
I think for a 1835 the sniper would be to much but a 500 holley would most likely do good cause I have dome that with turbos

beauty and clean install a dream project some day ill try this but with a dual carb

Your kit is perfect, congratulations! I'm from brazil and I'd like to buy just the blower bracket and the outlet manifold! How can we do it?
Please email or Facebook messages me please
What a beautiful engine
Thank you!!

Did you change the jets of the original carb to work with the super charger?
I slightly ream the main jet and I opened up the pump jet all the way. Thank you for your interest
Any issues with this set up with an alternator?
I have not had no issues at all so far. We do have a steel intake now for the stock carburator and im Working on others at this time

You can drill them or you can weld tabs on the front or rear and bolts to the case halves
@@berrysblowers6411 Ahh, I see! Thank you!
Were can I purchase one of this kit that uses a side draft weber.

How difficult would it be to adapt the flange for a Holy or FIJet EFI system?
Might not be to hard at all. Just would depend on the style of FI you have
Nicely done
Thank you!
Why did you make this new set up with the blower on the left?

Awesome! Would you mind checking to see if a stock 73+ air cleaner would clear the deck lid?
Is yours a paper filter or the older oil bath system
@@leeberry584 paper
@@gregoryschwarz2730 I'm not sure i have one to try but ill look in my storage building
I posted a photo of your air cleaner would fit. Its on berrys blowers Facebook page. It does not fit. Thank you for your time
I use a little paper filter

? How did you try to contact berrysblowers? And I am sorry I have no email or Facebook message?
What's the power gain over stock?
Ushly around 40% increase but depends on how the stock engine is built like mechanical compression and any head work. Thank you for your interest
The belt is inside out
No. ?
Neat Idea, But the v belt will not last...they are not made to be ran on the back side. Really need to upgrade to a serpentine belt.
Actually, I have used v belts for a year and half one this car, and this month, we actually just pulled the engine to put a larger engine in
Looks like it rides on the backside only on the tensioner.
