- Let’s take a look at the 11 minutes of gameplay footage unveiling the first area of Wuthering Waves, an open-world action RPG set in a post-apocalyptic world. Wuthering Waves is currently still under development and will have its first Closed Beta Test beginning on April 24. The game will be available for free on PC, Android, and iOS.

I'm really liking how the game looks so far, just hoping people don't call it a Genshin killer. Kuro Games is definitely an underdog and hyping a game up to be better than Genshin is NOT encouraging. Giving them support and sharing about the game will help them a lot :)

I'm glad to see more competition emerging within this sphere of gaming. More competition means more incentive to create quality products and avoid anti-consumer practices. Not sure why people are upset, as we only stand to benefit from a more diverse marketplace.

Genshin meat riders got their egos hurt because they spent $500 pulling on their waifu and found out Hoyo screwed them by making her weaker than any 4 star. So instead of criticising daddy Hoyo, they're flaming games that might prove that Hoyo is just greed to justifu their purchase.

Bro the boss fights in PGR is a cinematic experience at this point
The only thing they have to do right here is the end-game on Overworld. On Genshin its NOT about the characters being OP but the Overworld environment being brain-dead easy. For end-game, WW should hopefully have higher World Levels if thats a thing here, and harder monsters to fight, with actual useful rewards that dont have to be ALWAYSSSSS collected with the WW-equivalent of Genshins resins.

The switching from the new guy to the gunner girl on the first boss fight was so smooth, kind of reminds me of switching in fighting games

the soundtracks during the exploration of the map are beautiful, it's so nice to hear, the combats are also very cool.

look at Tower of Fantasy. The new update just released an entire ocean where you can explore and fight while swimming (swimming is fast and doesnt consume stamina, there is no need to go to surface for air). you can switch weapons mid air and you have entire air-combo attacks. really fun!
So can’t wait for the beta test!

I've never heard of this but it looks neat. Genshin got hate for looking like it took a lot from Breath of the Wild but it was noticeably different. This game looks like a much more fast paced version of Genshin with a more sci fi edge to it. I'm curious to see the main differences here
Genshin has very limited character mobility and simple character moveset (though there is still some depth with 4 characters and reactions). Company that made PGR is way more combat-focused instead of casual.

Idk why but I'm getting a mix feeling of genshin, nier and punishing grey raven.
The grappling in the air reminds me of monster hunter rise.
The glider reminds me of breath of the wild.
The switching our of different characters reminds me of genshin.
This seems like a amalgamation of things. But it's interesting.
tbh everything reminds me of genshin. the nps dialog bubble, the enemy drops, the how you pick up fruotes from the floor, the minimap, and even the 3d anime artstyle. but it still looks really cool, it looks like a game made by hoyoverse lol.

Punishing Gray Raven is my favorite mobile game. I'm so glad Kuro are making this game. The combat looks even better and Vanguard Sound Studio are back making the music. This is my most anticipated game.

After thoroughly enjoying punishing gray raven, I'm really excited with what this game will bring Kuro Game! The combat definitely seems much simpler than PGR, which was PGRs biggest draw, but this game's combat ain't bad either.

Jiyan can do an alt where he throws down his spear if you have his core passive bar maxed out before going into Triumph Lance
it has a separate animation of him jumping up in the air and throwing his spear down instead of him just powering up
Looks like a futuristic more polished version of Genshin with a slightly faster pace
Kuro games keeps proving their potential with Punishing Gray Raven. This game will be phenomenal. It won't will kill Genshin, but it will be a terrifying competitor.

The game design of this is very reminiscent of what Genshin does.
This is one of those games that do deserve to be compared to Genshin just like TOF was last year.

If you want to know what the developers are capable of in terms of combat/moveset animation go look up the moveset of the p:gr characters "hyperreal lee", "alpha crimson weave" and "bianca abystigma".

does anyone know if the gameplay style is more like Genshin (on pc) - meaning you can use the mouse to look around and then other keys for certain actions or will it be more like Honkai Impact and Punishing: Gray Raven meaning you move with the arrow keys and use pretty much the whole keyboard for movement and gameplay?
It can be toggled using middle mouse button between free mode camera and lock on mode

還有死亡擱淺的線上告示 遇敵慢動作特效 掉落物也有連到天上的線
而且還有現代電子音樂 跟科幻音效 我超愛這風格的
裡面的3:56看起來超史詩 像是死亡擱淺中遇到BT地帶的慢動作特效 還有熱血的BGM 好讚呀
7:51那個舞龍舞獅大招和音樂融合的超好 加上怪物的狼嚎 整個特別震撼
