Not going to lie, this game looks so smooth. The animations and details are crazy, and the combat system actually looks fun. What got me to quit playing Genshin was the combat system. It felt like constantly left-clicking and smacking the enemy like you were beating your kids with a stick, and I was that kid. I grew up in an Asian family, btw. lol
Update after playing for a while it haves its flaws and a lot of them but I’m not gonna list them since most people should already know but for the record when I was making this comment yes I know that genshin is just more than left clicking you need to mix elemental reactions ect to create big damage but that got boring for me also its the same element pattern everytime and don’t get me wrong genshin is cool the character designs are a lot better than wuwa and no im not hating on genshin i play genshin since day 1 spent nearly 10k on the game i love it but playing for so many years it got to the point we’re i quit because of the combat system use the same team comps with same element attack patterns and do crazy damage not only that getting around the map took forever climbing mountains etc was a pain in the ass yes I can use kazuha to get up faster or other units to get up the mountain faster but it got to point we’re I’m not enjoying it no more and wuthering waves can be really fun for me right now but eventually 80% time when the games gets older like Genshin I will state my reason why wuthering waves got boring for me

for those wanting some guidance, id recommend that you use ur beginner banner before the 5 star selector so that u dont get dupes of a character. id be even better if you are willing to wait to use the selector only AFTER pulling on a time limited banner so that even if u lose 50/50, u can still get 2 new characters (hopefully)
tldr: save ur 5 star selector until u pull ur first 5 star

I think the weapon banner is THE BEST option for F2P players (so NO wish on character banner):
1. Many 4-star characters are as strong as 5-stars.
2. We have enough 4-stars to make three teams and clear all content.
3. You select the weapon, and there is no 50/50: it’s guaranteed (so getting R5 is straightforward).
4. Weapons on the standard banner are best-in-slot (BIS) for most characters we already have.
5. The best way to increase damage is through weapons and echoes (not by pulling limited characters).
6. We don’t know which characters will be powercrept, so investing in the characters we already have is the smartest option!
7. Having good weapons will always be a good investment, as you can use them on multiple characters.
8. In the Tower of Adversity, you can have three BIS weapons (from the 5-star standard banner) and switch them between your three teams (9 characters) if they share the same weapon type.
9. At release, we will have 240 pulls (90 standard, 20 limited, 130 of your choice). With that, we can have two BIS weapons for our current team (smartest choice) or a C1 limited character (not even guaranteed because you can lose your 50/50).
Here is my team and the weapons I’m going to pull:
1. Rover (Emerald) + Mortefi (Static Mist) + Verina (Comet Flare)
2. Yangyang (Emerald) + Aalto (Static Mist) + Baizhi (Comet Flare)
3. Danjin (Emerald) + Taoqi (Dauntless Evernight) + Yuanwu (Amity Accord)
As you can see, I have a lot of weapon sharing, so I can focus on upgrading them and switching them between each floor of the Tower of Adversity!
Content creators tend to think that limited banners are the best bang for your buck because that’s the case in other gacha games like Genshin.
However, the weapon banner system in WuWa is so unique, and the 4-stars are so good, that it should be an obvious choice for F2P players.
Give me your thoughts on this. Do you think I’m wrong?
my brain just flopped I would need some time to think about this brother but the important thing is you got a game plan and I like that.
I feel the starters are strong it is the beginning of the game so I personally don’t think any characters are really bad.

I was honestly worried about the character design in this game because none of them really appealed to me. Until Yinlin was redesigned and they drip marketed Changli. Good lord I hope I get those two. There's also that one twin-tailed white hair girl. They all look amazing. The other male characters are also pretty damn great.

at first, I wasn't really going to download wuthering waves just cause I suck at open world action RPG like Genshin, because of having to move around a lot for the fighting part but after watching this video, around 6 minutes in I gave in. downloading wuthering waves rn. giving open world action games another shot!

Still just roaming around in the early game. Collecting stuff, building up some resources. I greatly enjoy Verina and highly recommend you pull for her. She's the best Support, although there's not many Supports right now. Which just makes it more important to get her on the roster, her heals will get you through a lot of tough fights.

I'm way more familiar with PGR than WuWa, but if the gacha systems are at all similar then if you're just patient, learn what to spend currencies on, and save, you're almost guaranteed to get every event unit in the game and a decent amount of their weapons & gear too. If you spring for monthly passes you're definitely guaranteed

I mean i have to admit, i DO really like the Intro and Outro attack idea. I've been playing the game for like 2 days now and im having fun. The story is about as engaging as what i experienced in genshin, so overall not too bad. And the combat feels smooth and responsive. Im just having to get my head around all the stuff and i kind of want to compare everything to Genshin in order to understand it better. I DO however, miss the elements combining and having an effect like they do in Genshin, or maybe that's something i dont know about yet.

That 100% drop rate really is Kurogames forte not just in this game
But also in PGR the only difference is that the 100% drop rate on pgr is for the debut character
While in WuWa its the weapon

This game feels like an upgraded version of genshin impact we all wanted for 3 years ...
It takes parts from different games but like genshin it combines them so uniquely is awe-inspiring like turning into enemies (dragon raja) grappling hook (nova heart) and Sci fi and fantasy gacha(genshin,starrail,tower of fantasy) even the upgrade is copied but unique it is similar but original mind officially blown

Seeing more WuWa gameplay makes me see that WuWa and GI are two completely different games 🤔. WuWa is more fast paced gameplay (looking forward to play it but I'm a bit intimidated 😅), while GI is slow-paced (much like BOTW). I know many complain that GI gameplay is too bland, but I kinda like how simple it is (makes it more beginner friendly). That said, I'm really looking forward to play WuWa. The world and characters look really cool.

My mind just went Ultimate Evasion and QTE for the time slow and the intro skill thingy lmao I hope they add aerial combat that can be sustained throughout like in hi3 (example is Bronya APHO, part 2 char, Kiana :D), really like that type of aerial combat gameplay.

For now. My currently characters im all out using is, main character rover, and SEPHIROTH. Plus i got a copy of him thanks to the gifts tht everyone go for a free 5 star plus the selection pull of 5 star. So i have him basically at RC1

I have a question, in order to get the 5 star selector, you need 80 pulls right? Doesn't that mean that there's a chance to get a 5 star during these 80 pulls? So, you can possibly get 3 5stars: 1 from the Beginner's Banner (40 pulls) and 2 from the Standard: at least one from the gatcha itself (60-80 pulls) and another from the selector once you reach exactly 80 pulls. Right? Or is the first 5star locked to be the selector's?
If you get 2 5 stars during the novice banner you could be lucky 🍀
And I grew up off of Ben 10 everyone’s calling it a pokemon thing with the echoes but we are morphing into them so it’s more Ben 10 to me
@@wtfmikxy but it's realistic, not lucky... right? That's what I'm asking. In HSR, the selector is separate from the gatcha itself. You can get 5stars until the 300 pulls. Similarly, shouldn't you get at least a 5star until the 80 pulls then PLUS the selector? Or is the selector the first 5star? 🤔
some say that if you have a better resonator or resonators that you like
you only need 1 resonator that makes it DPS
and only one resonator to spend of, well for me If I can I will do 1 resonator as dps then following another resonator as healer or tank for my team compostion ..

I drew gold with both my early bonus draws and they take them away once u get gold like I drew 30 of my 50 and went to next event drew ten got gold took away my 80 draw beginning event so now all I got are the normal draws.
