Not going to lie, this game looks so smooth. The animations and details are crazy, and the combat system actually looks fun. What got me to quit playing Genshin was the combat system. It felt like constantly left-clicking and smacking the enemy like you were beating your kids with a stick, and I was that kid. I grew up in an Asian family, btw. lol Update after playing for a while it haves its flaws and a lot of them but I’m not gonna list them since most people should already know but for the record when I was making this comment yes I know that genshin is just more than left clicking you need to mix elemental reactions ect to create big damage but that got boring for me also its the same element pattern everytime and don’t get me wrong genshin is cool the character designs are a lot better than wuwa and no im not hating on genshin i play genshin since day 1 spent nearly 10k on the game i love it but playing for so many years it got to the point we’re i quit because of the combat system use the same team comps with same element attack patterns and do crazy damage not only that getting around the map took forever climbing mountains etc was a pain in the ass yes I can use kazuha to get up faster or other units to get up the mountain faster but it got to point we’re I’m not enjoying it no more and wuthering waves can be really fun for me right now but eventually 80% time when the games gets older like Genshin I will state my reason why wuthering waves got boring for me

We have enough 4-stars to make three teams and clear all content. 3. You select the weapon, and there is no 50/50: it’s guaranteed (so getting R5 is straightforward). 4. Weapons on the standard banner are best-in-slot (BIS) for most characters we already have. 5. The best way to increase damage is through weapons and echoes (not by pulling limited characters). 6. We don’t know which characters will be powercrept, so investing in the characters we already have is the smartest option! 7. Having good weapons will always be a good investment, as you can use them on multiple characters. 8. In the Tower of Adversity, you can have three BIS weapons (from the 5-star standard banner) and switch them between your three teams (9 characters) if they share the same weapon type. 9. At release, we will have 240 pulls (90 standard, 20 limited, 130 of your choice). She's the best Support, although there's not many Supports right now. Which just makes it more important to get her on the roster, her heals will get you through a lot of tough fights.

at first, I wasn't really going to download wuthering waves just cause I suck at open world action RPG like Genshin, because of having to move around a lot for the fighting part but after watching this video, around 6 minutes in I gave in. downloading wuthering waves rn. giving open world action games another shot!
just approaching 500hrs in another Gacha, which is a lot of hours of entertainment, so finally got into Genshin and love that these games are marathon's and not sprints, really hope they bring Wuthering Waves to PS5, it looks great.
I mean i have to admit, i DO really like the Intro and Outro attack idea. I've been playing the game for like 2 days now and im having fun. The story is about as engaging as what i experienced in genshin, so overall not too bad. And the combat feels smooth and responsive. Im just having to get my head around all the stuff and i kind of want to compare everything to Genshin in order to understand it better. I DO however, miss the elements combining and having an effect like they do in Genshin, or maybe that's something i dont know about yet.
I'm way more familiar with PGR than WuWa, but if the gacha systems are at all similar then if you're just patient, learn what to spend currencies on, and save, you're almost guaranteed to get every event unit in the game and a decent amount of their weapons & gear too. If you spring for monthly passes you're definitely guaranteed
That 100% drop rate really is Kurogames forte not just in this game But also in PGR the only difference is that the 100% drop rate on pgr is for the debut character While in WuWa its the weapon Looking at this i can say it's still worth it even if the 100% drop rate is for the weapon. Just wanna ask something in comparison to genshin impact it has similar characters, similar fight mechanics the same kind of farming gems of the game for summoning etc why shouldn I play a copy paste game like that does it have any different things other than the whole catching monsters and make their attacks your ability in your chars?
For now. My currently characters im all out using is, main character rover, and SEPHIROTH. Plus i got a copy of him thanks to the gifts tht everyone go for a free 5 star plus the selection pull of 5 star. So i have him basically at RC1
My mind just went Ultimate Evasion and QTE for the time slow and the intro skill thingy lmao I hope they add aerial combat that can be sustained throughout like in hi3 (example is Bronya APHO, part 2 char, Kiana :D), really like that type of aerial combat gameplay.
Seeing more WuWa gameplay makes me see that WuWa and GI are two completely different games 🤔. WuWa is more fast paced gameplay (looking forward to play it but I'm a bit intimidated 😅), while GI is slow-paced (much like BOTW). I know many complain that GI gameplay is too bland, but I kinda like how simple it is (makes it more beginner friendly). That said, I'm really looking forward to play WuWa. The world and characters look really cool.

Makes me laugh how similar all of the gacha, daily, etc. mechanics are to Genshin. WW better be amazing enough to pull me away from Genshin because I don't have time for two gachas and im still having fun in Genshin, well, enough fun to not need a second gacha. Any idea how the end game of WW will be? Will it also be like Genshin where after all main story, all side quests and world exploration is done we can only use up "resin" on domains or ley lines? Is there a repeatable "Spiral Abyss"? Thanks.
Honestly thought it was really good when I played but I don’t like the running animation cause it doesn’t feel as smooth as HSR or GI but it may improve as they update more

Just wanna ask something in comparison to genshin impact it has similar characters, similar fight mechanics the same kind of farming gems of the game for summoning etc why shouldn I play a copy paste game like that does it have any different things other than the whole catching monsters and make their attacks your ability in your chars?
For now. My currently characters im all out using is, main character rover, and SEPHIROTH. Plus i got a copy of him thanks to the gifts tht everyone go for a free 5 star plus the selection pull of 5 star. So i have him basically at RC1

My mind just went Ultimate Evasion and QTE for the time slow and the intro skill thingy lmao I hope they add aerial combat that can be sustained throughout like in hi3 (example is Bronya APHO, part 2 char, Kiana :D), really like that type of aerial combat gameplay.

Seeing more WuWa gameplay makes me see that WuWa and GI are two completely different games 🤔. WuWa is more fast paced gameplay (looking forward to play it but I'm a bit intimidated 😅), while GI is slow-paced (much like BOTW). I know many complain that GI gameplay is too bland, but I kinda like how simple it is (makes it more beginner friendly). That said, I'm really looking forward to play WuWa. The world and characters look really cool.
