Nah just focus on main stats and don't burn yourself with how the rng drops on main stats are dog water. Also we don't even have that much exp mats cause they're dog sht of a drop soo spreading exp ain't a good thing to tip. We're still in the early game so just focus on getting the right stats on 433 then you're good.
Whats important to mention, this makes this whole thing very easy to understand, its literally the bread and butter of this. is that GETTING ECHOES DOESNT CONSUME YOUR ENERGY, its completely free, you just have to put in time to farm them, but you can do it as much as you want to. GETTING TUNERS DOES HOWEVER, thats why you should save your 5 star tuners as much as possible, and treat echoes as disposables.
A big tip that might not be obvious but a lot of sub-dps characters work just fine with a Moonlit set with DPS stats. Saves a lot of resources if you only go for the element set for your main DPS's and keep your support and sub dps with the healing and energy sets and swap between them.
this is only applicable only to 4 cost echoes since you can farm them infinitely, for cost 3 echoes, you really cant throw away your elemental 3 cost just because the 1st roll is trash lmao
i mean you can jump into coop and refarm there so its technical infinite as well, just not as easy since you still need to find a coop world that allows to farm with you but yeah i get what you mean
True.. this can only apply to cost 4 echo and maybe cost 1 because theyre plenty of cost 1 echo around. But not cost 3 elite echoes, they are more hard to find.
@@hrishavdas6999 well thats why we get echoes in events that let us choose set and mainstats so we all can get closer to the dream of a perfect electro dmg bonus electro set echo, kuro is making it possible
It's other way around, easier to get the 3 cost with the main stat u want,u just select the echo set u want and go through each of the mobs in it. Farming for CRate/CDmg 4cost echo are already a pain, now imagine throwing away cause 1st substat isn't a crit? That's just stupid
yep not to mention many are stuck at DB18. It's not everyday we get away from 4 star echo. Definitely it's works better for 4 cost echo (boss type) which has better drop rate & easier to get crit main stat.
@yaaaan6763 Exactly, imagine spending a day worth of WP 240 for a 4 gold & 28 purple exp mats like where will it bring me ? After that nothing to do besides burning yourself through farming a demon main stats which I don't do much cause I'm afraid I'll burn myself when I can feel the game has potential.
Been farming mephis for my calcharo, 10 in a row are purple drops so i gave up... Still using my crit rate purple mephis up to this day (it has heavy attack, er, cd, attack%)
flat stats are pretty good in this game, 50 atk when you have like 2k at max, is 2.5% overall dmg increase, when your 8% basic attack dmg increase is additive 8% to you already having like 100% other dmg increases which makes it 4% only to basic, when even basic attack characters deals like 50% of their dmg from basic attacks, making it only 2% overall dmg increase dont trash flat atk, most of the time its better than dmg% increases
I'm not sure if I fully agree but I understand the sentiments on why only roll for 1 tuning, but my gripe with WuWa's echo sytem is that it takes so much time to farm especially for 3-cost echoes cause you have to go all over the map to find the TDs. moreover, what's worse is the probability of gettin the set + the elem dmg corresponding on the set. Unlike in Genshin goblets where you can still use the goblet with elem dmg that may not be appropriate for the artifact set - like Deepwood with Hydro Dmg, you can still use it especially if it has good substats as off-piece. In WuWa, you won't be able to use 3-cost echoes with different elem dmg on an elem set - Glacio Set with other Elem dmg set aside from echoes. I find the building og characters more tedious in WuWa despite not needing waveplates to farm for these, but the probability og getting the correct elem dmg on a correct set is just crazy. Then if you got the proper one, next issue now is getting the proper substats. My biggest issue with this is the need for materials just to tune the echoes. These are quite limited - unlike in genshin where you get the substats just from leveling the artifacts, WuWa's echoes need separate materials for substats - and then you need separate materials to level echoes - you cannot use other echoes unless they are leveled up. I don't know, whoever decided the echoes to be farmed this way is crazy...
This is kinda the best way to get so sick of the game you uninstall it after 1 week lol Same thing I said for people clearing the whole map on HSR, just don't eventually things will sort themselves out anyway and you won't hate the game.
very true i love the game but i have also realized how badly i screwed myself at the same time lmao, unless they fix the Echo resource collection/farming, it may be the reason I drop it despite loving it. It's gonna take me a loong time of logging on daily to fix it :(
If you really want to min-max, use two purples and one green xp tube to just barely reach level 5, since if you use one gold one you'll end up wasting that extra echo xp that goes above what's required to reach level 5. You can reliably get green tubes from the synthesizer with the new update too, which makes getting the most out of your resources much more convenient. Also, use the sorting tab near the bottom to make cycling through good crit dmg/rate echos much easier instead of having to click through a bunch of them each time.
at UL 40 you get 15 gold tuners and about 20k exp from tacet fields. a +5 echo requires 10 gold tuners and about 4k exp. after about 12 +5 echoes, you'll have enough exp stockpiled to fully level the echo once you get the stats you want. once you've stockpiled that much, you might as well start going to +15, which requires 30 gold tuners and about 40k exp, otherwise you'll have excess exp. you have a higher chance of getting the substat if you already got one you don't want because substats can't be duplicated
I think it will be good tip to people who just start farming orange echoes, to just find ones with right mainstat for your main damage dealer and upgrade them to max, you will probably have some luck in substats and it will good starting point before maxing everything.
Honestly the best tip is to not sweat it out. Especially before UL40. And it's not even about an "MMO grindset", you're just gated by the resources the game gives you and the mobs that spawn even if you pity exploit them. If you don't want to farm that much then just get the right main start and get a +25 on all of them. Maybe only try to swap an echo if it has more than 2 bad stats. Min-maxing like this is hilarious on a game with not that challenging content honestly. (Or, challenge comes from you knowing the boss mechanics instead of a dps check) You're just end up loosing tuners and wasting a ton of resources and stamina for like 200 more dps in the grand scheme of things. If nothing else, doing it right now is hilariously bad waste of time as you can always loose the 50/50 on purple rarity on top of all the rng bullshit.
I never thought of doing this, I've always had good luck with stats but sometimes I just don't get what I want and this looks like a very good way to secure it. Thank you
Wow another way to minmax scarce resources. This is actually informative and in regards to echo farming and tuning. I guess i have to farm havoc bonus for Havoc MC and to build Yinlin's echoes but im using this method. So I hope I get lucky in tuning.
Something that could be nice to know is that the Elite Echo Selectors we get from events are guaranteed to be the element set and main stat. Hoochief gives Aero DMG Bonus on Stirring Gales set, the purple heron gives Electro DMG on Void Thunder set and so on. So can use those to get one of your Elites if you need to.
Appreciate the tips btw I will try this method, but seems like too much time tho. So I either will stick to it for a single character or just do what I did before lmao Be like me: > Farm for Taoqi > See her scales off def > Max stack on def > Echoes gives CC out of pity > Still land a solid damage
Hint from a MMORPG-Player: Two friends and myself did it like this: I lowered my world, then everyone had three bosses assisgned. Then you just rotate around your three bosses and kill them. After half an hour, you can make a short coffee break and go to every boss location and get A LOT of stacked echos. Then repeat for as long as you want (and have coffee or alcohol lol). Fun fact: If the world owner needs to go off, the world still stays online for 15 min. So you can go on with farming (for ONLY 15 MIN!!!), teleport, boss respawn etc. Have fun farming :)
Ok so I've just checked this video earlier then decided to test it. I thought my yinlin build couldn't go better but after doing this her crit dmg went to 262% with 58% crit chnc. Plus the discarded lvl 5s can be also fed to other echoes for other characters so it's not really a waste. This is very helpful thank you so much!
Before tossing any 3 costs as fodder, since it's very hard to get 3 costs with right main stat and element set, I would advice to keep the one you have even with bad rolls until farming and rolling better substats.
I've actually been doing this already. If I have an abundance of echoes with the correct main stat, I'll gradually level them up, stopping every time I get a bad stat. However, the correct DMG bonus echoes are quite hard to obtain, so I'll check until 3rd tuning and see how it goes. If I get more bad stats, I would obviously stop...BUT sometimes I get this intrusive "what if" I get a good stat on the next tuning (because the odds of having bad stats is now lower), so I go all the way lol
Farming for Calcharo and Yinlin... Mostly Fusion Herons and even when I get an Electro one, it's not an Electro DMG%+ one. The pain is real and I'm getting real tired. Finally got ONE Electro Heron with the Electro damage. First stat flat DEF. Fine, lets see the second.. DEF%. Yeah, I don't think I'll ever go beyond the first stat unless it's Crit from now on. Thanks for the vid!
I stop farming 5-set echoes and start farming lingering tunes and moonlight set for 3 cost echoes. It's easier to slap whatever dmg bonus you get in lingering tunes/moonlight to other character. With 2 sets-2 sets... It's easier to get 43311, 44111, and 4431 I am happy with my Encore using Glacio echo boss for her echo skills
I've been leveling all my echoes to 10 and checking my first 2 substats every time. But I play this game a lot and don't mind farming, so I will take the lvl 5 advice because I am starving for echo exp. Great video, great tips, thank you 🙏
I got a crit rate Lampylumen Myriad right after getting Abyss Surges for Lingyang, leveled it up to 5, and got 10% crit rate, level 10 gave energy regen, level 15 gave crit damage, levels 20 and 25 gave hp and atk though
Echo exp will be more available the higher your Ascension level is. Lvl 39 below is letting you force to use Purple echoes, there's a different material to use to Tune echoes for each blue, purple and gold echoes
Oh wow, me being dumb just mindlessly upgraded Ferilian Beringal wifh crit rate. Good thing tune gave me additional crit rate of 9.9%. Thanks for this! I will definitely follow this suggestion.
you could add what to do with a upgraded bad echo. You get the exp spend on them, but how much exp is lost by melting it. You loose the tuning resource but you gain majority of the exp spend.
If you recicle in level 5 you can save XP and shell credit, but not turners, because the cost for turning is the same in every level. +10 is the sweet spot between save shell credit, turners and xp.
Echo level 0-20 takes about 80-85k exp, then from 20 to 25 takes about 63k exp, only fully upgrade your echo if you have at least 2 good substats because tuners are rare and we can't use any lower rarity tuners for some weird reason
I have a purple 3 cost spectro that has basic attack bonus, heavy attack bonus, and resonance liberation bonus plus the critrate/damage substat, it's so good I can't even replace it(for now)
For anyone under UL40 and databank 19. Just enjoy your game because that 50% gold drop rate is miserable to farm. 1.1 is going to boost tacile discord field so just take it slow until UL40 and 1.1
Unlocking the first substat and seeing that it's not good and recycling is the worst way to level echoes. The reason being you end up recycling so many times that your sunken cost (25% exp and 70% tuner are not refunded) overshadows the amount you are saving by not going to +25. Let's say you are putting together your "starter sets", using the criteria of CR and CD must be present in the end result and the other 3 rolls can be anything. Stopping at +10 (so if first two rolls aren't CR or CD), you need on avg 78 tries, 334125 exp, 1098 tuners Stopping at +25 (continue to roll until requirement cannot be satisfied), you need on avg 7.8 tries, 385020 exp and 288 tuners At UL40, you get on avg 22500 exp and 15 tuner. This means that you need to on avg run TFs 73.2 times to get enough tuners to get your desired roll, if you stop at +10. Stopping at +25, on avg you need to run TFs 19.2 times to afford enough tuners. In both cases, you are tuner bottle necked and not exp locked.
A little tip for all the fodder: If you use them to level up other echoes, you will retain some of the tuners used for sub stats, so that way it's not a complete waste of materials, and you can save some of your exp tubes in the process. Hope that helps!
managed to get Crit rate and dmg on all my yinlin echoes in less than 3 months. Played for 3 years and never finished getting good crit values on my pyro artifacts on genshin.
This advice is great. Though, that first dreamless you showed kinda goes against all this logic and demonstrates how it can still pay off as those last 4 sub stats are pretty much the best possible rolls. I also think it’s fine to have non-perfect echoes so early into the game. As long as you have 3 useful substats or maybe double crit and nothing else then it’s fine to keep for now. But for end game, this strat is definitely the way to go when trying to find the final echoes to perfect your builds. Also, hoping Brad brings out a Yinlin guide as he’s always my go to for 5star guides 😊🤞
He himself acknowledged that the first dreamless was a mistake that ended up working out well thanks to extreme luck for him, but the odds of that happening are likely so low that it’s not worth trying to reproduce
This will be great for endgame! right now i am still in the "any stat is better than no stats" where i would rather have a full set of Lv25 echos with imperfect stats, than 50 different unused wasted exp echoes that are at Lv 10 and like one echo with wonderfull substats. in the future can go grind for perfect ones, for now i am just happy when i get a 5* with the right main stat that i want from the right set i want. Maybe when i am like Union Level 50+ and a master of dodging i will also be super picky with substats. Now i am ok with a + def%, it makes me survive a bit better.
I think it is always up to how powerful you currently are. Having no decent main stat echos could make things hard for you in higher world levels, If a piece main stat and set aligns together then I'll upgrade it to lvl 20 (not 25) no matter what, and then after having a full lvl 20 set with the right main stats I'd then try to min max and care about the perfect rolls aka only upgrading when i get decent sub stats
In the early game Im not gonna be too picky, just 1 crit n 1 more good stat, then go to +20 n use the piece until like UL40 or 45 to clear the content. Then in the endgame when I can farm comfortably I will be more picky. It is just a personal choice, because I want to have an easier time farming, and not just aim for endgame gear right off the bat
Long term this is good advice, but starting out, I really just want to have a base +25 proper set on my main dps with the right mainstats to be able to do all or nearly all the content in the game I can for my level, and to only then start min maxing replacements, in which I'd start with the pieces that have the worst substats first when looking for replacements. It's a drag doing the tougher content with like +10 echos is a major reason as to why.

I tried it out for fun this morning without reading its a 12hr cd and now I am stuck waiting.
Same way you lower it@@kenkaneki428
@@kenkaneki428 same way
Nah just focus on main stats and don't burn yourself with how the rng drops on main stats are dog water. Also we don't even have that much exp mats cause they're dog sht of a drop soo spreading exp ain't a good thing to tip. We're still in the early game so just focus on getting the right stats on 433 then you're good.
honestly farming for more than a few echoes with correct mainstat sounds soul crushing
So the main issue is to have infinite free time to actually keep grinding. But you may as well burn out in the process
Actually, thank you. Seriously. Thank you. I looked at many videos and this one was the only one that helped me the most. thanks again
Thankfully this should up on my feed when I’m still early game, I’m farming for geshu Lin.. if he ever comes out lol
That's me loll
@@viktorholm3386Naahh man even if u can farm like that. The electro dmg bonus on aero set curse is not that hard to beat 😂😂
I don't think i have the leverage to scrap a 3 cost echo that has elemental damage with only a single crit substat, shit is just way too rare
yep not to mention many are stuck at DB18. It's not everyday we get away from 4 star echo. Definitely it's works better for 4 cost echo (boss type) which has better drop rate & easier to get crit main stat.
Yeah the tip ain't really helping with how he's spreading the exp mats which you treat like a one of a thing treasure.
@@JayceRustia they gonna increase the drops soon so it's currently better to use wp for other materials
You can just go with 4 4 1 1 1 for the time being.
Been farming mephis for my calcharo, 10 in a row are purple drops so i gave up... Still using my crit rate purple mephis up to this day (it has heavy attack, er, cd, attack%)
You need to be at least Data Bank lvl 15 to get Gold Echoes
@@JLawrenciumi think they're referring to the fact that they lost the 50/50 gold echo drop 10 times in row
@Yinlin_main bruh I just reached level 38 today after completing yinlin's quest. I will need almost 20k exp to reach level 40 to unluck db 20...
Same here. I grinding non stop for a week and feel like wanted to give up as well (my data bank is 20)
Same with my with the aero monkey… only 4 star crit rate LOL and i’m DB 18 one day i’ll get a gold crit rate😭
flat stats are pretty good in this game, 50 atk when you have like 2k at max, is 2.5% overall dmg increase, when your 8% basic attack dmg increase is additive 8% to you already having like 100% other dmg increases which makes it 4% only to basic, when even basic attack characters deals like 50% of their dmg from basic attacks, making it only 2% overall dmg increase
dont trash flat atk, most of the time its better than dmg% increases
That's because they trying create single player mmo. God knows why.
This is kinda the best way to get so sick of the game you uninstall it after 1 week lol Same thing I said for people clearing the whole map on HSR, just don't eventually things will sort themselves out anyway and you won't hate the game.
So true, I don't even have a half of map uncovered.
Just upgrade any average dreamless echo if I beat that boss sometime
Everyone enjoys the game differently
very true i love the game but i have also realized how badly i screwed myself at the same time lmao, unless they fix the Echo resource collection/farming, it may be the reason I drop it despite loving it.
EDIT: how to optimise your resources? FOCUS on skills before minmaxing echos. NO rng involved, permanent stats. is a no brainer.
i wish they can add a feature in the future that lets you change a specific sub roll from an echo... i feel it's gonna come, hopefully 🤞🏼
or just a garantue 1 sub stat that you can choose 1 time per 10 tries for example or something like that
I think it will be good tip to people who just start farming orange echoes, to just find ones with right mainstat for your main damage dealer and upgrade them to max, you will probably have some luck in substats and it will good starting point before maxing everything.
Thank you
This actually really help, thanks brax ♥️
Appreciate the tips btw
I will try this method, but seems like too much time tho. So I either will stick to it for a single character or just do what I did before lmao
Be like me:
> Farm for Taoqi
> See her scales off def
> Max stack on def
> Echoes gives CC out of pity
> Still land a solid damage
Dude I just found this, and fortunately I've been doing this these couple of weeks! This is the best sigma grindset guide! 😆
Have fun farming :)
did you use food that rise 50% echos absorption? I'd like to try it.
thanks brax i was confused abt some stuff you cleared it for me :)
Thank you for a very helpful & informative video. Your reasoning for how to build is well explained.
i love the mech abomination not as an echo but as a boss, its so ominous and it never disappoint
Tip : Use the data bank merge system. You can get some good 3 cost and 1 cost gold echos.
I shouldn't watch this after 3 days in game
I was very confused on how I should be farming echoes, but now I have a plan on what to do, thank you o.0
This video just saved my account dude thank you
Before tossing any 3 costs as fodder, since it's very hard to get 3 costs with right main stat and element set, I would advice to keep the one you have even with bad rolls until farming and rolling better substats.
It's easier to get 43311, 44111, and 4431
I am happy with my Encore using Glacio echo boss for her echo skills
thank you so much . I hope your tips will help me a lot in the future
I've just been getting into Hologram and holy this is super helpful
oh my crap i did not realize how important and useful being able to farm the echoes in the overworld is, all the echoes I could have gotten!!

Thanks for this! I will definitely follow this suggestion.
Really helpful vid man
Thanks Brax!
you could add what to do with a upgraded bad echo.
I need a video on getting Echo Levelling Materials a lot more than figuring out substats right now. But good video still
I recommend wathing Sweetily then, she just released that video
Echo level 0-20 takes about 80-85k exp, then from 20 to 25 takes about 63k exp, only fully upgrade your echo if you have at least 2 good substats because tuners are rare and we can't use any lower rarity tuners for some weird reason
If i found this video earlier, i would've level up smarter.
I have a purple 3 cost spectro that has basic attack bonus, heavy attack bonus, and resonance liberation bonus plus the critrate/damage substat, it's so good I can't even replace it(for now)
Banger vid very useful
Thank you. Now i understand what i want and what i need. 👍
Damn, I miss having a million shell credits. I'm down to two digits now.

Wonderful video!!!
Good advice, although I wish I saw this video the first week the game came out
For anyone under UL40 and databank 19. Just enjoy your game because that 50% gold drop rate is miserable to farm. 1.1 is going to boost tacile discord field so just take it slow until UL40 and 1.1
this video has made me realize its good that im cheap because ive been doing this
it does help a lot!! definitely a good tip
Stopping at +10 (so if first two rolls aren't CR or CD), you need on avg 78 tries, 334125 exp, 1098 tuners
Stopping at +25 (continue to roll until requirement cannot be satisfied), you need on avg 7.8 tries, 385020 exp and 288 tuners
At UL40, you get on avg 22500 exp and 15 tuner.
Hope that helps!
seriously needed this guide. thank you @braxophone!
Damn, I didn't know this, I always +25 the echoes and hoping it gets good
now I'm level 42 I've wasted a lot of resource
thanks for the tips man
I got a crit rate, dmg, and energy regen for the aero set. It was for jiyan and a solid one due to it having the aero dmg bonus as a 1st main stat
Thanks very reasonable advice cant believe I didn't think of that... Maybe I was just impatient
Thanks for the echo guide!👌😊
managed to get Crit rate and dmg on all my yinlin echoes in less than 3 months. Played for 3 years and never finished getting good crit values on my pyro artifacts on genshin.
Very nice and good tips 👍🔥
The issue I have with only leveling to 5 or 10 is that you save a lot of exp, but I ran out of tuners fast haha.
Now i am ok with a + def%, it makes me survive a bit better.
i recommend upgrading ur main dps' echos to max regardless of sub stats just to utilize the main stat so u can actually farm faster
Something i might try as an experiment is to min-max non crit damage to see how high i can push damage like that.
I thought Encore is giving us a middle finger in the thumbnail lol
That's what she does when I kill my foes
Thank you Braxophone! I am still in the midst of building Encore and hopefully she can be more buffed than usual.
If only you could convert blue and purple tunes into leg ones
I don't get why we can't tbh, bad design from their end, they're just lying in the inventory pilling up
@@SenseisbinahYep there should just be a way to convert them into gold I don't care about the requirements I just want them to be useful
thanks for the guide and I'll still proceed with what I usually do 🤣
Ty for the vid!
My favorite character is Jinhsi.. We will be there when she drops later this month
Thank u your video actually helped me lmao
