I am so glad I dropped Genshin for this. I started playing a few days ago my account I rerolled for on launch. I rerolled for Verina and Jiyan and just got turned off from optimization issues. Figured out how to play it in 120 fps without lag a few days ago and I have found a gem. Wuwa deserves the glaze. Love my Jiyan/Verina/Mortefi team.
oh u can play with 120 fps in ww.... me dying with my 30 fps and it still lags

dw, sometime you'll get tired from wuwa and comeback to genshin and the cycle will continue....
Oh one thing: baizhi is actually really good for quick swap teams because the flower in her outro skill that heals every 3seconds
(or 6 idk) for 30 seconds also applies the all damage buff to whatever character it heals, not just the character you swap into. So if you swap from baizhi to yinlin and it heals her then yinlin gets her attack buff but if you then swap into changli then changli gets the attack buff when it heals her. This makes baizhi very good for quick swap. She also has the euphoria which is the feather thing that drops whenever she uses her skill that buffs the damage of the character that picks it up by 15%.

For the Meme team
Youho > Verina > Encore
Team PPG
Hope they add a dreamlink for these 3
That would be sick
@@WWDevListen i really hope they add a dreamlink that's a reference to PPG
Yea I think that team can work,
Youhou using rejuvenating set, Verina using the Energy set, while Encore is the main DPS of the team. Meaning it's an Encore hypercarrybteam 🎉
2:30 I'm early, but no Danjin's best team is just herself
Solo danjin, everyone else is taking up her field time
Yeah i soloed all holograms with her, she's so much fun.
Not going solo Danjin is actually a DPS loss

Dang the three houses soundtrack really bring back lots of memories
House of memories
aalto main here! he is actually an incredible main dps because his air attacks pack a punch! i would argue aaltos best team is himself, sanhua, and verina (because shorekeeper takes up field time that he needs). jiyan has better options in characters like mortefi!
omg another aalto main. fully agree on the mid-air attacks.
i personally run him in a yinlin-verina combo, bc the former does a lot of off-field dmg to compensate for his multipliers.
Fellow Aalto mains!! Agreed, I do usually run him with Jiyan but I'm working on building my Sanhua so he gets more time to shine in a team of his own :D
I probably wouldn't even notice if Vars just recorded "Verina or Shorekeeper for healing" once and used the same clip every time they show up lol
Spectro Rover can shred an enemy's Spectro Resistance when the resonance skill is used so Jihnsi is a really good teammate.
@@hanza1371 yeah but you'll have to sacrifice Verina/Shorekeeper to put S. Rover in there so I'd not recommend it

Yall gonna hate me for this but Calcharo is back! My Youho, Yinlin and Calcharo team is cookin hard!
you mean calcium carbonate
Calcharo? Ahh I see, Calculator!
I correct you:
Chixia is freakin underrated. His Dodge Counter multiplier is bonkers, especially for bosses whom you can weave a counter between repeated dodges. Other than Changli she is really good with Sanhua.
Yangyang has easy accessable grouping, and she buffs your team by, making sure your ultimate comes up faster. (Also her energy regen buff doesn't go away when swapping teammates)
Everyone is calling him Calcium Carbonate. My boi capacitor is cooked 😭
Poor Calculator 😔
For jinxi:
Baizhi is particularly good since she provides coordinated glacio attacks while on the healer slot
The other two are more dmg but I think their synergy should be noted
Love the Fire Emblem 3 houses background music! So nostalgic! Just wanna mention this 😁
For most DPS characters, the best team is actually usually within a dual DPS / Quickswap team.
Hypercarry teams, like just 1 DPS and 1 secondary DPS, tend to actually not even be the strongest ones out there (as well as for the most part, not really being the most fun due to not making use of quickswap mechanics), but rather that almost any 2 DPS characters work extremely well togheter, though even moreso when they give direct buffs to each other.
As a simple example, Xiangli Yao can be just played as a hypercarry with Yinlin, sure, but he does actually offer much more DPS potential in a team with Changli, due to both working well in Quickswap, as well as Changli amplifying liberation damage (With the team name being "Changli Yao" lol).
Another example is Encore+Changli. Again, both already work due to being good quickswap DPS characters, but Changli also amplifies Fusion dmg for Encore.
1 thing that you have forgot to mention. Danjin is a SOLO powerhouse. Her best teammate is herself.
take a shot everytime he said "Verina or Shorekeeper"
Changli's best sub dps is Zhezhi, not Yinlin. Encore is for extreme quickswap gameplay that most people will not consistently pull off. Zhezhi's skill damage deepen massively boost Changli similar to Jinhsi
@@Riokaii and here i am, using Changli as a support for my Chixia
Xiangli yao with yinlin is always my go to team, yao's time slow ability is fun to use
I'd like to mention XLY pairs well with Changli as well, since you swap cancel him all the time and Changli can make those rotations seamless. A nice alternative if goth Yelan, I mean Yinlin is used elsewhere, plus it's not as hard to get the hang of imo.
Jiyan's best healer is 100% Shorekeeper, her intro procs Jiyan's outro, and her ult cooldown is at a perfect spot where if you end early, you can cycle mortefi's skills so that his concerto gauge is full once you swap from jiyan to mortefi back to jiyan.
dont do my boy calcharo dirty like that
Finally someone saying Calcharo correctly
Taoqi is my favorite 4s for two reasons she’s one of few supports who who can be universal skill buffer and tanker which gradually becomes more valuable with each character like Changli, the other big reason as you probably noticed is her kit being basically Genshin Noelle while her design is budget Narmaya making her special for some players
Honestly they should just buff Taoqi's shielding and make her concerto regen just a little better. There's a shield-based support right there. Her playstyle doesn't even need to change much and she could be a 4* F2P Jianxin.
I love the fact that I have all the charaters but hate the fact I have to build all the charaters at onces and only 2 are fully build
Building seems less tedious since there are no time schedules (I've neglected gun characters and weapon levels for too long)
but tacet fields costs echoes which are higher than genshin... means you can play 5 domains in a day.... when in wuwa it's just four because of 60 wave plats@@abdulrahmanzubairu8371
@@ryuk6795 i have 2 teams fully built and working on the 3rd, it's really not that hard to build character in wuwa, ofcourse luck do play a huge part when it comes to Echo
Currently UL 45 and already have 2 team build(jiyan, mortefi and HMC, sanhua). im just farming for their skills atm then encores next probably gonna swap sanhua to danjin cuz encore
@@grymns I also don't have a h8gh amount of problem
My charaters are almost all around 90 and 80 with mains talents almost max , weapon are still under upgrading
The main problems is the charaters I am building all need different material for talents and weapon which is time consuming
Also the echo one is real problems
All my charaters in different echoes and luck can be bad due go which I am running low on echo level mat majority of time
They give ton with events but tacit fields are horrible in current state
I love that you're covering this game.
I pulled Zhezhi with singature just for my LingYang. I must say if you are not aiming for maximizing his potential u can stay with Sanhua, because this duo clears content pretty easy, and Zhezhi without signature will not be much better, the only thing that really helps is her off-field damage, because LingYang already gives himself a ton of Glacio damage and her boost to resonanse skill damage still does not give a huge impact since LIngYang's DPS sources are diverce, so it's a bit complicated...
Guys, I tried to do a drinking game - get a sip every time Vars says "Verina or Shorekeeper". I almost died. So be careful!
Dope video as always, but you're wrong about quite a lot of these pairings when it comes to actual speedrun clears. I guess it would've made for a more boring (but probably funnier) video if almost all DPS chars just had Changli in a swap team listed as their best partner.
Thanks for your WuWa content! I'm really liking the game but a lot of CCs aren't really covering it. Keep it up!🙏

A non sponsored wuwa video??? 👀💀
I would love it if you make a video on the element system in WuWa because as it is right now it feels useless to the point where I don't see why it even exists other than to gatekeep some challenges with resistant enemies. It doesn't have reaction like Genshin and ZZZ and it doesn't seem to have any affect on the stagger bar like toughness bar in HSR. Hell WuWa doesn't even have a proper alternative stat like EM, AM, BE, etc so I'm extremely curious as to why they aren't doing anything with it.
I think making the element system in wuthering waves have a larger presence will officially make the game too complex. Newcomers already have to worry about about concerto, forte, intro and outro skills, echo set bonuses and so on. Worrying about elements as well is overkill. I think it's doing it's gatekeeping job just fine for now.
I overall prefer not having reactions specifically because in the way most are implemented, atleast in Games like Genshin, they are really not that well Balanced damage-wise across reactions, and they just add even more restrictions/limitations for team building (which are already added onto the restrictions elements/resistances add by themselves)
For example, almost any 2 DPS characters in WuWa work togheter in a quickswap team, making for hundreds or thousands of different team compositions with all the characters you have. Meanwhile, in a Genshin Hu Tao team, you kinda rely on having very specific characters in order to really make damage. Sometimes, even just your 1 or 2 other slots have to be Equipped with Hydro appliers, which by itself already reduces the variety of characters to just 1/7th...
The Element system moreso stays as a general way to buff/support characters, as you couldn't really do it well otherwise. Every character can be categorized to an Element, and benefit from supports or Sets that buff that Element. If such an Element wouldn't exist, buffers could only really at most buff atk/crit or very specific attack types...
this made me think about it for the first time and i can't justify it in my head lmao there's rly no point. in fact, it seems like it would be an overall benefit to doing away with the elements. without them, it would be harder for people to just label it as a genshin clone. it would make character designs and theming less restrictive since you wouldn't have to base all their effects off of one color/element. ig it's just for characters like yinlin or aalto who buff a specific element's damage, but that could be worked around. echo sets could replace the X damage bonus with a general damage bonus stat. ig it could also be just to sort characters easier but idk
@@lum_berry111 Just a note, but, Kuro absolutely does not care about the idea of a characters design being based off of their element. The only thing with it's color based around the element is the effect color. But even those have variety between them.
it's just there for synergies within characters and echoes
wdym she's bad.. Taoqi is literally the reason why my Jinhsi deals 540ks
6:30 honestly, even if we didn't have this diversity crisis, i doubt this would change this much. Pretty much the only way to ruin Verina or Shorekeepper is to release characters who simply don't synergize with them. Sure, this is easier to do so towards Verina, but they are simply that universal.
@@Otherface like someone who's kit doesn't allow them to be healed from other sources other then themselves or someone who scales of Hp/def and can't crit
6:38 Pairing Changli with Yinlin is not really worth it. I tested a hypercarry comp with Changli/Yangyang (lvl 50 btw)/Verina and Changli/Yinlin (lvl 90 + signature)/Verina. Both teams cleared at basically the exact same time. (Yes, I optimized both rotations to be able to use Changli's liberation on cooldown.)
The best teammates for Changli hypercarry would be Yangyang or Sanhua with Verina or Shorekeeper.
For duo-dps it would be preety much anyone, since unlike other limited characters like Yinlin and Zhezhi, most of Changli's value comes from her personal damage, with her outro skill being the cherry on top. So her best teammates would be anyone she can easily quickswap with, while still benefitting from her outro buff for a quick burst of extra damage, since it only lasts 10 seconds, so characters like Encore, Xiangli Yao, Havoc Rover and Calculator.
Yeah I am currently building Xiangli Yao with Changli, how do you think it compares to Xiangli Yao and Yinlin?
@@ginger2114 There isn't too big of a difference in damage, since Yinlin gives perfect buffs for Yao and Changli has higher personal damage.
Duo dps teams in general require higher investment though, you can't afford to have a low level Changli with Moonlit Clouds set like with Yinlin. If you only have a 5* weapon for one of the two dpses you'll be losing some damage too.
It mostly comes down to what playstyle you prefer, with Yinlin you can get away with a simpler hypercarry team rotation without many quickswaps and not lose much damage, with Changli you have to quickswap more to bring out her full potential.
a bit late but I like how you used every name possible for Calzone
I mean you could have just said as a blanket statement: "Verina or Shorekeeper unless specified"
I used to play Jinhsi with Yinlin, now I enjoy Changli with her. The damage with Jinhsi was better but I just want to use Phoenix mommy ;w;
as yes the cola my favorite character from wuwa
Jianxin, a healer and shielder
Vars: "verina or shorekeeper for healing"
At this point, he was talking on autopilot to not notice he reccomended to pair 2 healers in the same team.
you can actually do that for a hypercarry team with getting buffs from both of them + healing set bonus from sk + verina on moonlit set
@@meliho27 Yeah, but, and this is coming from someone who mains her, it's definitely not the best way to run her. She's definitely more of a support character, than a sub dps, and it shows in team building.
@@nemasisdemarini8339 i just wanted to tell about that hypercarry team that has both of them
Please make another "why everyone plays" or a wuwa build video. Ur voice is like butter
I would actually say if you're playing Jinhsi with Zhezhi, Verina is almost completely unnecessary. Zhezhi provides more than enough coordinated attacks even on my fastest rotations Jinhsis bar is full, I think that Shorekeeper might just come down to if you have 44111 or 43311 lol. Verina could be better with sequence nodes, since she does get faster concerto regen, and spectro buff, but at S0 I think if you have a strong coordinated attacker, shorekeeper is probably better.
I would argue that changli's best teammate is actually zhezhi. She can boost more of changli's dmg than yinlin with a fast enough rotation that changli doesn't feel like she runs out of steam.
Shorekeeper is so f2p friendly. Yes I spend, but I didn't wanna spend for her weapon. I just use the 3* ER weapon on her and it works so nicely
2024 is about to come to an end yet still no timestamps smh.
5:20 the part you care about
for changli a fun comp that isnt quick swap reliant is changli , sanhua and shorekeeper/verina
(granted i run this because of having e3 changli so its alot more reliable with that)
Err excuse you I actually use Chixia, Jianxin and Shorekeeper and it works... surprisingly great!
My main team consists of Spectro Rover, Jiyan, and Verina or Jianxin. Jianxin/Verina for healing, shield and ult dmg amp, Rover for occasional CC, and Jiyan for pure dmg.
You may probably wonder why Jianxin has healing, well imagine you use her as Barbara from Genshin but on shield
We really need more healer type support in Wuwa, Verina and shorekeeper are just too good to use a 4 stars
Baizhi is underrated for jinshi. But! She needs an insane amount of er with variation. The more copies the better.
Aalto, Mortefi and Yuanwu can work well with Jianxin, please stop forgetting that Jianxin could be a Main DPS too she's not just stuck with being a grouper. Most of us Made her a DPS when we first got her and she's pretty good ngl
Currently I am praying Camellya synergies well with H-rover so I can give Sanhua to my Encore but time will tell
Yuanwu gives quite a beefy shield in his sequences. So in terms of Jinhsi, you could use another off field attacker instead of verina or shorekeeper
Just saying
I have Xiangli Yao, but I don’t have Yinlin. Who would be a good substitute for her until her banner rerun?
Rare wuwa content 👀
No timestamps makes us sad.
we have a shield support...its yuanwu edit: the only problem is he needs alot of investment (s6) a specific weapon and specific rejuvenating set for echos in order for it to work....and when you do invest in it you realize the healers just do the job better as you dont need that much defense in this game and healing is more needed
It's literally Jianxin. The literal only problem she has, is her shield can take a second to get up. But that's barely a problem in most content, since the full use of her hold skill will almost completely fill her concerto energy.
Nice video 👌 now I can get a better idea how to make my teams for TOA not having Jinshi, Zhezz, Jiyan , Verina , Yinlin might be difficult for me. My current teams are:
1 Changli, Xiangli Yao, Shorekeeper
2 Encore, Sanhua, Baizhi
3 Havoc Rover , YangYang , Jianxin
What do u think?
The middle tower always is a pain only can get 1 out 3 and last floors from the left and right tower 2 out 3 😢
Yeah.. jinhsi with that glasses painter is.. you know.. somewhat easier.
The current event make me have the abilities to check my jinhsi potential and dare i say coordination and feasibility is much better than simply raw damage..
Just to share my perspective: (feel free to just ctrl-f your favorite character's name to jump right to my take on them)
My 5 stars are Jiyan, Jinhsi, Xiangli Yao, Verina, Jianxin, and Encore. I have Jinhsi's weapon, and the standard 5 star sword and pistols. I did not get Youhu, but I have every other 4 star so far. I tried to pull for Zhezhi, but lost my 50/50 and have been saving for Camellya and Scar ever since. I still don't know how Spectro Rover works, so when I say "Rover," I exclusively mean Havoc.
My go to teams for Overworld always have Verina, because I don't have Shorekeeper. So for my two other characters, my most common pairings are Rover/Danjin, Jinhsi/Yuanwu, Jiyan/Mortefi, and Chixia/Encore. Once I build Jianxin, I will add Xiangli Yao/Jianxin to that list. But overworld is arguably the least important in terms of requiring the most optimization, so for the purpose of this video/my comment it's easily the least important to discuss.
For ToA, I always use Jinhsi, Yuanwu, Verina in the center tower since they're by far my strongest team. Then, I will clear the first three floors with only two characters (no healer), and use Baizhi in the final floor of both towers. My two characters of choice depend on the elements of the enemies and the buffs of the tower. If there's an Aero buff, or a lot of small, groupable enemies, I play Jiyan and Mortefi. If there's a Fusion buff, I play Chixia and Encore. And if there's a Havoc buff, I play Rover and Danjin. If a tower doesn't buff any of my teams specifically, I try to brute force it with Rover and Danjin, since they're my second strongest after Jinhsi. I am working on Jianxin for Xiangli Yao, and I might pull for Yinlin and/or Changli eventually, but for now those (Jinhsi/Yuanwu/Verina, Jiyan/Mortefi/Baizhi, Chixia/Encore/Baizhi, and Rover/Danjin/Baizhi) are my 4 teams for ToA.
Finally, for Holograms, I use Verina, Taoqi, and then either Rover or Jinhsi, depending on which boss it is. Aix is Spectro resistant, so I use Rover, and by the same logic I use Jinhsi for the Havoc resistant Heron and Crownless. Inferno Rider burns the floor, so I just fly over it with Jinhsi. Mephis is super aggressive and fast on his feet, so I play Rover who has an easier time dodging/parrying, and doesn't have to worry as much if the enemy teleports out of his nuke. I still struggle to beat the monkey, so I don't know exactly who is best to fight it, but I think beating 5/6 of the bosses is pretty good for only using 4 characters, one of which is supposedly the worst in the game.
Tldr: (which may end up being just as long as the rest of my comment)
Baizhi is pretty underrated even though she is still definitively worse than Verina and Shorekeeper. At this point in the game, simply being a healer is still enough to make her at worst usable, even in endgame. And for those who don't have Verina AND Shorekeeper, but still want a second healer in ToA, I'd even say she's pretty good.
Very similar case with Taoqi, except exclusively in Holograms. If you're struggling to clear them and haven't built her, just try it and she might carry you like she did for me. If you only care about ToA, then the only use case I can possibly see for her is if you have Jinhsi, but not at least two of Zhezhi, Yuanwu, Baizhi, Verina, or Shorekeeper. So, build her for Holograms to farm pulls for a healer, I guess.
Jiyan and Mortefi are, in my opinion, the least debatable pairing and therefore the least interesting to discuss, so all I'll say is that Mortefi is my favorite character in the entire game and I am very glad I accidentally got Jiyan while pulling for Mortefi.
I really wish I had gotten Zhezhi for Jinhsi, and I do plan to on her rerun, but Yuanwu has been working really well for me. That's less of an argument that Yuanwu is good, or Zhezhi is bad, but more of a statement of just how broken Jinhsi is.
Logically, because of how much I like Chixia and Encore, I should have gotten Changli. I don't dislike Changli. I can't explain why I didn't pull for her. But Chixia and Encore together have been working just fine for me, so I'll be sticking with them for the foreseeable future.
I've been too busy to actually build my Jianxin, (I only got her this week in the middle of my Camellya farming) and since I don't have Yinlin, I haven't played Xiangli Yao much. I'll have to play him with Jianxin once I build her to see how much worse than Yinlin she is for him, but like with the Chixia/Encore/Changli situation, I predict Jianxin to be enough for him for me. I probably should pull Yinlin, but if Jianxin ends up being enough for Xiangli Yao, she'll be enough for me.
Rover and Danjin, like Jiyan and Mortefi, are pretty spot on. Double Dreamless carried me through a ton of the early game and although I've since switched Danjin over to the support set with Heron, I see no issues with your takes on them except that Chixia is actually best girl and *I* can fight *YOU*.
My yuhou is actually a support for zezhi hypercarry team. Its youhou, zezhi and mortefi / yuanwu lol it's not the best team, but a fun one for sure
Taoqi pairs well with Danjin, but not to give Danjin any buffs, just the shield. Get any outro, activate Taoqi's shield and let Danjin go at it.
Not the best DPS, but it let's Danjin be used by people with skill issues like me
From my experience yinlin fills jinshi forte almost full on her on alone so I prefer shorekeeper for crit buffs
I am also able to go 2 times jinshi skill full with yinlin cause shorekeeper buffs last very long which help me to rotate to her every other rotation after setting her buffs
is that S0 Jinhsi?
I cleared middle with spectro rover main dps, though it was a very close call
If ever you guys forgot, the best character for healing is either Verina or Shorekeeper
Toaqi works quite well with Danjin main dps
Taoqi can be used for screenshot jinshi nukes but not very good elsewhere
Tbh I hope we wont get much more sustain/support units too soon, because they might go out of controll very fast, making all old sustain completely irrelevant.
Finally he tired saying it. Verina and Shorekeeper for Heal. 😂
I watched the whole video but I am still a bit confused, What are the best options for healers in my team?
Verina finally can take a rest for being in every team, but it’s not SK’s turn…
hmm, havent played in a while but I did get a shorekeeper from a lucky roll randomly when I logged on, but basically havent played since jinshi release (i have her and her wep as well as yinlin and her wep). Not sure how to set up teams tho. I got (order of most to least built) jinshi, yinlin, verina, calcharo, encore, baizhi, jianxin, s5 danjin, sanhua, mortefi, shorekeeper (unbuilt but will prio build her probably)
any suggestions apprecieated!
I run the duo mommy team but looking forward to Camellya
Even if a 3rd sustain gets added Verina and SK will stay at the top cause we need 3 teams for tower... It's THEIR game the rest are just set dressing.
10:08 well, yeah... It would be great to have a shielder in the game...
If only we had some pink haired waifu to do that for us...
Also, it would be great if that character would be able to break the enemies' roughness bar faster.
If only we had a 4 star character with a broadsword to avoid having to rely only on 2 (actually, 3) healers that are overused in any scenarios...
Or, you know, the standard 5 star shielder, who provides passive healing with her shield? You know, the one that actively buffs liberation damage?
I don't have verina or shorekeeper. I just pulled for the characters I wanted.

Hypercarry changli is great with sanhua for quick concerto
can’t wait for the camellya video
Who needs a team when i have Danjin and my own skill?
I have 4 teams
Verina zhezhi and jinshi
Sk dajin and yanyang
Xiangli yao spectro rover and jianxin
Verina encore and sanhua
Note : verina amd shorekeeper are interchangeable
wuwa mentioned
My best team is Changli - Yinlin - Shorekeeper. Bursts hits like isekai trucks and their JP voices are music to the ears. Canon Rover waifu team❤
Who should I use for healing
basically
Verina or Shorekeeper for healing
What about charcalo+encore+ verina?
nah xiangli yao is the best dps currently i think at s0. jinhsi at s0 prbably does 300k+ per rotation xiangli yao does way more dmg in one rotation.
I am VERY disconnected from wuwa but I thought I heard yuanwu was a better jinhsi teammate than yinlin because jinhsi is so strong that the extra field time requirements for yinlin aren't worth it
Yes yuanwu is better at giving forte-circuit stacks for Jinhsi but you still need to intro skill to maximize Jinhsi's buffs which Yuanwu is very slow at charging his concerto energy for an outro, you can do the outro for Verina instead directly for Jinhsi but you'll miss out on the Atk buff that moonlit echo set provides... If you think the Atk% from moonlit is negligible Yuanwu is the better option.
Zhezhi beats out all the options for Jinhsi though because not only does she give faster coordinated attacks she also charges up her forte relatively faster and gives additional Elemental Skill amp which just turns Jinhsi into a Delete button. I barely use verina now because Jinhsi-Zhezhi clears any floor in 1:10s.
No idea that Calcharo is actually pronounced as "calculator"
Hoping for shield meta soon!
Danjin is going to Danjer her enemy Danself
Poor calcium Carbonate😭 got cheated on, i used to be a calcharo main but... My havoc rover deals a ton more damage than my calcharo😭
Verina: ATK buffer
Shorekeeper: Crit Buffer
