Ah yes very simple and easy to understand Mr.Senpai 😂👍 Thank you ! This is what you achieve when you use common sense to make guides, not forcing some weird other game genre mechanic to ARPG and want to have a " me " in the community 😂
This is why I really love the combat of this game. There aren't that many gacha games with action hack/slash combat out there that we can see very huge difference between players that play the game without knowing that much vs players that know these techniques that aren't tought in the tutorial and actually know how the game works. Those techniques aren't there just to look cool but they also make the fight way better technically.
The parry hit box is the weapon itself, so some characters are just easier to hit while others are a lot harder to time it right. The broadblade comes out the easiest.
You forgot to mention the two most important details about Swap Canceling and swapping in general: 1- The swapped out character is completely immune to any kind of damage to health or poise while they perform their animation. This makes swap canceling ideal for characters like Changli who not only have long animations, but are prone to being interrupted during them. Curiously enough, enemy hits still count as if they connected, so stuff like Jianxin's Parry instance is completely functional even if swap-canceled, and it will make the enemy freeze for about a second. 2- Every time you switch characters when in combat and an Intro sequence is NOT activated, the character entering the field will start their Normal Attack sequence from the second attack, not the first. This may seem inconsequential, but the matter of fact is that most characters regenerate a lot more Concerto with their second attack onwards than they do with their first, meaning that constantly swapping between supports can help generate Concerto for the two almost twice as fast (when combined with swap canceling). This + Discord (weapon) allows usually slow Concerto-generating characters like Taoqi to use their Outro every rotation (minimal rotation time being around 20-25 seconds), which in turn can be quite beneficial to a Hypercarry Changli, for example.
2:45 I just mash bro and it works, whenever I see the stupid ring I just mash attack and I always parry 100% of the time. Trying to w8 and parry with the "gold ring" when playing at 160ms+ is next to impossible for me. I'm glad at least mashing works.
Thanks for the guide, all action happens in center of the screen and all character releated bars botom which is good because easy to check out closest point to center comparing to left or right side, maybe i have a bad habbit coming from other games i playing including genshin because i almost never look character icons on the right, in this game character icons start flashing when concerto full but they need to add some visual sign to that bar i think, maybe a little glow or something, i switch my characters early sometimes because bar looks full but still need a tiny energy, i decide to write this in next survey. Sorry for my poor English.
@@relx7981 don’t worry i understood you perfectly. I’ve also reported this a while back that they need to add something like a glow on the concerto energy bar to help with easy visibility.
@@itssenpai626 So from the 2 hours of testing I did, I found some pretty interesting results: Parrying is easy, especially on broadblade users like you said. A bit harder on gauntlet users but sword users are fine. Didn't know you can't parry with gun wielders (I know now lol). Jianxin from stage 2 basic attack and Yao from stage 3 are the easiest to parry with. Yuanwu's parry sometimes comes out on stage 2 or sometimes stage 3 (could just be my ping idk) Swap cancelling is doable but sometimes your ping can really be a downer. Like Calcharo's Heavy Attack can just not trigger if you don't hold the button long enough or if you switch it too quickly. You also can't swap like in the middle of the sword smash animation cause then it doesn't deal damage when you swap to someone else but still uses up the stacks when you swap back to Calcharo. Same thing happens with Yao and his enhanced Resonance Skill, but only if you switch before he does the second flashstep in the animation (won't trigger the ground slam and the damage). So there's like certain windows for it and you gotta get it right. The dodge counters work fine more or less. The delayed counters are definitely harder to pull off, and ping affects this one the most. Calcharo is definitely the best for delayed counters in my options with Jianxin being second best.
@@itssenpai626 already pulling some of this shit on mobile, most notably swap canelling between your subdps and support is a great way to build up concierto for buffing my hypercarries, parries can be a bit hard due to how each character's different ranges, but delayed dodge counters is the one skill I learned the hard way when I malded diff 5 and 6 Crownless. Also helps I've been playing PGR that game taught us how to dodge by sound cue and instinct, just merely knowing the tempo of the fight helps a lot when dodging, which is why I hate Inferno rider so many delayed attacks when I'm so used to back to back fast tempo dodging and attacking.

9:56 Yeap I'm literally relying on these sound more when the concerto is full.. cause it's much reliable rather than needs to looking at the edge of the screen while still need to focused on dodging an stuff..
I'm still learning how to swap cancel, especially one of my main team is Encore, Changli & verina. This thing is so hard because I'm still confused when & who to swap
@@paindrop7316 it’s normal when you’re first trying out quick swap. Let me give you a tip to know when to swap. When playing two dps like calcharo and XY, i always target the animation that takes long to finish. An example is calcharo’s death messenger, XY’s divergence skill and his cube explosion skill. Those animations are long enough to swap into another character, do something and swap back to the previous character. It’s very fun to play
@@itssenpai626 I see, I'll try it with Changli & encore. Thanks
I subscribe and like.
good video
man...to me calcharo still the most epic character in WUwa XD
i play in tablet, and everytime i dodge, and counter feels amazing.
0:10 you really kicked him out of the air with that one
Sanhua best counter pary for me.
simply hold atk and release 😅
You’re right. I never realised it😄
Always dissing my man Chupacabra.
Lol lol lol cucaracha moment you said tht it just crack me up.
Vivaldi -Four seasons -winter excellent choice.... though I like the original one
Has anyone ever hit a counter with Jiyan's last combo string? I swear it is hella satisfying to do.
Jiyan is sooo satisfying to use I’ve almost completed his sequence
I lost it at Cucaracha.
@@Dan_Dan_Ruu 😂
Cucaracha XD
Habla español?
I've only heard spanish speakers call him Cucaracha
Inferno Rider (the regular one) was the one where i learned to do most of these things, delayed parry, parry cancelation, specially charged parry with some charecters like Danjin with multiple hits to parry even if you attack a bit early
But there's also some echos that can parry and even cancel bosses skills
Idk why I haven't seen a single "tips" video mention the weak point stones that automatically "break enemies. Any enemy with the golden stone embedded in it will fall immediately when you hit it. Want to bully the bear everyone seems to hate? Get a buddy, stand in the tree with the pew pew gadget and aim at its stone on its left shoulder...tada! the bear can't do anything anymore and you can have a lvl 1 just beat on it with no worries of being hit. It makes many fights trivial.
@@Eldritchpi i’ll check it out
When you showed Cam and Shorekeeper I thought you were about to say the game drains your.. well you know what
@@the7blargs Nope😄
If you know this, you beat the game.
- You trying to time it.
- Me calculating how much latency my Geforce Now has so I can time it.
@@lumitou 😂
I'll share this video with my grandmother, she sucks at the game
@@iamspencerx sure😄

@@Ecstaccy Glad you did😄❤️
The skill ceiling is so high for me lol....
@@mohammadalloush8636 try to practice little by little😄. The game feels very satisfying when you play it that way
And there's Me
with lots of lagging 😢😢
i knew these but i can barely do it lol
"drain your wallet"
Bro, i got like 12k asterites from just playing daily in 1.2 and was able to get 2 shorekeepers. That's more than $200 worth of astrites
It's possible if not lagging
techniques? timing? what are those? the real thing is Encore throwing hands at everything and ending it as fast as possible
Swap canceling also cancels non entire team buffs
@@leediaz5690 I don’t get what you mean
I thought I had mastered these skills but after fighting Crownless I realised , I understand nothing
What are your key binds for controller?
It’s highly requested so i’ll make a short video explaining my key binds very soon
Actually i still confused how to parry with rectifiers type weapon
@@noer6443 rectifiers are hard to parry with

Ayo is that negative edge?!

I gave up on dodging and parrying at some point in ToA. And then i m not able to clear any hologram anymore 😢
