In my opinion HSR has a best atmosphere when you pulling and wait for something cool. Hearing soundwave when trail is come to you and analysing what you having seems real cool - feeling you determination and happiness. And that animation with Pom-Pom is huge cute with ending screen when you pull 10 - it's like you know cinematographic paper

I like HSR simply because there's a (subtle) cue before you see the colour. If you're listening for it, you can easily pick out if it's a 4 or 5 star within just a couple of seconds, allowing you to skip quickly.

They're just following the standard rarity colors popularized by WoW:
White=Common
Green=Uncommon
Blue=Rare
Purple=Epic
Orange=Legendary

zzz its a unique one and more futuristic with moving animations of them taking the stage.

HI3 use to be purple for S rank as well. So you have no idea you getting an S or A rank and you need full gear for some volks. But now you just need the volk and weapon the stigmata for new units is craftable instead of gacha.

WuWa is the best imo simply because its not splash art, but a unique animation of each character! Feels like an upgrade of the rest.

Back then the S rank thing was yellow and the B rank was blue, now they're all purple, and lately they changed the animation a bit, (to worse) but i still like it personally

I meant the whole pull. The animation for character entrances takes a long time to complete even if they’re cool. Both HSR and Genshin just have a splash art for the characters which makes it seem much faster though HSR has long train sequence in the beginning which is annoying too. I dont like things that are just done for pizzazz

I like WuWa and ZZZ versions. The pulled characters actually moving. WuWa is beautiful represented while ZZZ has fresh concept (Pulled items & Characters rotating in a lazy susan style).
i would say the same, even tho the zzz one its too long for me, its still interesting and fresh, and i love the characters of wuwa move and have a 3d model

Wuwa have an actual animate character intro is peak. The 2D images feel lazy and dont hype you up for the character. Everytime I get a new character in wuwa it's so exciting and makes me feel satisfied
For the actual summoning animation imma go HSR, the ticket into the train just hits fr, but actual pulling animation is wuthering waves
Still a big fan of the shooting star you get with genshin. On the flipside, I don't like how there's no tell for HI3, the gold glow always got my hopes up

Hi3 is an old game and the engine already changed, let the old players have smth they recognize. Imagine playing a game for years and one day you log in and everything's changed to accustom to new players. Not the biggest motivation to go on with it again imo, especially if you're smn who's not accustomed to change

There is only 6 animations in this. and 3 games is from Hoyoverse. ALSO..... I played all of them too.
Wuthering waves honestly has the best one of theses.
I love how in wuwa the characters come animated, do there own pose and introduce them self c:
(PERSONAL OPINION) For me is just:
- Genshin Impact: Simple and neat, just go straight to the point but after all of them, is the most simple one.
- WuWa: 4K version of Genshin. The character presentation is cool. I think is _probably_ the best.
- HSR: Creative, Cute for PomPom ofc, but it feels a *little* more simple after you watch the others.
- HI3: Another creative one but pretty short as genshin.
- ZZZ: 2nd place for creativity and longest. The Character presentation is great, showing the details.
- ToF: Beats ZZZ for the long intro. The idea of that intro gives me the vibes of perfumes ads. Character presentation could have been the best if they gave the same importance as the intro.
Extra: As an HSR player, the suspense got ruined after I saw the trick of the ticket on the 5-star warp.
Tof has an advantage that isn't shown here that I really like.
It took me by surprise when I started playing.
Basically when you go to the page a short animation from the characters trailer plays when you first go onto their banner that gives you more of an idea of what your rolling for.
It's kinda like azur lanes UR clips but before you roll vs after getting them.

Hsr. It’s super fitting to the world and it’s much easier to tell than others where you have to wait a bit to know if you’re getting five star / ssr characters or not
ZZZ and WW are the only ones has moving animation as the character shows in the screen so the win goes to them

#6 Tower of Fantasy has cool starting animation, but very mid pop-ups of characters
#5 Honkai Impact animation is not bad, but very outdated because of which it looks and sounds mid
#4 Zenless Zone Zero has nice animations but for some reason DON'T have cool pop-up for S-rank characters, they just normally appearing as all other items, because of what their appearance don't feel so special
#3 Genshin Impact has nice animations, but they are not powerful enough for 5-star characters
#2 Wuthering Waves has the advantage of animations with characters some of which even makes voicelines
#1 Honkai: Star Rail has very good animation with train and Pom-pom, with nice music which became very exciting when you are about to get 5-star, and there is a cool effect with cool sound for 5star pop-up

As a bias hsr player (as u can see from my pfp) it's obviously gonna be the best for me, but zzz is a close second, that's just reallyyy creative and the rotating platform feels so vibe-y.

The visuals of the game give me Newspaper vibes. The Summoning animation feels unworldly, but is recorded. I don't really know how to word it. I really like it

I love HSR and ZZZ gacha animations. HSR cause it's the only time pompom can come out from the train. Not to mention , multiples hint not just the color, and sfx . ZZZ is so creative , very original and modern, not typical similarity with other gacha game eventhough it's the slowest cause even bangboo get mini animation jump also the anticipation feeling from its sfx

ZZZ. Seem to have the most assets (3d items, fonts) moving during the animation. There's even physics bounce on the items when they spin in and out, and some good light interaction between the 3d assets in focus and the background. Cuts aren't weird too, like there's a video playing then showing separate assets. Almost just one smooth animation. Also what's up with the A rank items, they each have unique animation? Do they do that in game?
Weird thing about Wuwa, the loading of 3d seems jank right here: 0:55
Fave has to be HSR since it’s quick but also has cool design elements like the chrome affect indicating it be a 5 star, different Pom Pom animations, and the path symbol popping up to add on the climatic did I get them or not feeling (and that’s just a smooth animation). Plus train is epic than just a typical shooting star thing (though I get how the other animations have that because it’s thematically relevant). Simple design choices like this goes a long way!
Though I get the most hype from Genshin’s 5 star animation in like a Stockholm sense lmao.
ZZZ is by far the most creative and I have to applaud that. I love the stacked TVs workshop aesthetic, going through your pulls the stage thing spins around (very smoothly), and they have a cool zoom up montage of the characters like wow the effort! Though I feel like it does takes awhile to go through the whole animation which these gacha sessions ideally would be quick but maybe I’d change my mind once we get to actually play.
WUWA and HSR are the best. It fits so well, its overwhelming, nice. Like them a lot.

@@98-carlmarkmarak22 idk if it's my ping but it sometimes actually delays and then I realize "oh my gosh I got a gold" never got tired of the 5 star animation somehow so it's like reliving getting my first 5 star again when I see gold which is a very achieving experience since you finally got a 5 star (then you realize you lose the 50/50, which isn't nice ;-;(
I haven't played Tof since a bit after launch, and god dam that animation is so much better than it used to be.
Personally i like FGO Gacha Animation specially when you get Gold (4*) and then turn Rainbow (5*) or when Silver (3*) turn into Gold (it can be 4/5*) and now there's special animation for Extra Class too

The one gacha animation the IN MY OPINION is not suitable for the theme ingame is WuWa. Why? if you asking well after i playing it WuWa for short time i see every theme is fitting to sound and frequency

HSR's had me the most hooked, I like how fast Wuwa's was, and I love the creativity of ZZZ's
Genshin's turning to gold is just straight dopamine rush to the brain. Makes you the most excited and nervous at the most same time. It makes it feels like you just did an big achievement or summoned a miracle.

I don't like HSRs ani because there's no indicator for 4 stars. HI3 is just downright bad, no sign of gold drops until it's front of you. WuWas drop Ani feels like ToFs where it becomes gold early. So far the most gut wrenching one is Genshins because it becomes gold on the last half second before it splits to the next frame. Zzzs Ani drops is just downright anime hehehe. I also like Nikkes gold, you feel more involved in the gold drop than just watching it turn to gold by itself.
HSR does have a pink shine at the door for 4 stars (it's blue for 3 star).

Besides ZZZ I’ve played all of these. Idk about anyone else here but HSR and Genshin have always made my heart skip multiple beats with that random gold.

HSR's I'd say is the best and personally is my favourite. It does feel time consuming but it's one that you would still appreciate watching every now and then.
WuWa second because of the animated characters but the main animation is somewhat equal to Genshin where it's not going to be that memorable in the long run, but it is prettier than the latter.

Custom animation for every wuwa character on pull, that's sick, huge w for me
Honestly, Genshin and HSR feels more natural because the animation concept kinda connected to the story. Genshin give the feeling that you're wishing to the stars, and then the companion come as the falling stars, while HSR gave us the feeling as if we're inviting the companion and then eagerly wait for them to get down from the train, realistic.
HI3 is so nostalgic but idk, the characters are sent as a package? ZZZ, the character have the stage and spotlight, fresh to see them close up in different pov.... And I was speechless to se ToF's, the animation is great though, but the reveal feels empty.
I'm not playing Wuwa so idk about the story and how I can relate them with the wishing animation. But it's so cool to see the character itself animated and talk to us like, THE IMMERSION IS REAL

Don't even compare that masterpiece (Wuwa) to those garbages u mentioned.
Wuwa is basically if you took bits and pieces of other gacha games, toned down the color, updated some parts and added a few different ideas

If HSR have more animation, it will be perfect. The feeling when you listen the music and vfx, animation of the train... Everything is just so good, i can't feeling that in Genshin, HI3 or wuwa
Overall genshin, i like the splash art a lot but i like that the character appear and do special animations in wuwa so a combin of both would be great 💜

If we rate only animation then WuWa ( really good animation )
If i rate animation while im inside game then Genshin ( iconic + not to long + really good looking )
Ok but have you try “Lord of Heroes” ? That game has sick animation.
Pretty neat imo.
My favorites are HSR, and WuWa, mostly because you can tell if you got a 5 or 4 early on, for 10 pulls. HSR has a very large tonal difference between a 4star and 5star 10 pull. And WuWa you see the yellow light early.
