I love these feature phones, particularly the 8210 and 5710, would love if they made and upgraded version of the 7650, also I heard that Nokia and Zeiss have parted ways 😢
Apart from the 5710, the rest of the new feature phones look significantly cheaper than the old Nokia phones of yore. Hoping that the next-generation of HMD Nokia Android smartphones finally ditch the dated generic looks of the current G-series line.
It's also because there seems to be no market for high end or even midrange feature phones. So the new devices might share the name, but are definitely not in the same segment as their original siblings. Fingers crossed for no generic android devices...
Do they definitely not have a hot spot feature? Currently using the 2017 3g 3310 and was really hoping to upgrade to one of these and have a hot spot 🤦♂️

do any of these have usb-c? only reason i haven't bought a feature phone yet is lack of usb-c i'm simply not willing to buy a phone with micro usb in the 2020s
Funny, my Nokia X20 is usb-c, and my housemates 8.3 is usb-c. but we also get chargers as well. It's good when you have a government who won't allow tech companies just plain out pimp its customers...
If Xiaomi can implement Android on a keypad phone (Xiaomi Qin F21 Pro), then what's pulling Nokia back ? If you're remaking old stuffs, make them smart too ....
I had been using the nokia 2720 flip since 2020 as a daily driver until last week when it died on me. I do not intend to have it repaired since kaiOS is the worst OS I've used on a feature phone as its full of bugs like the sim toolkit which always needed restarting. I really hope the new OS is an improvement.
Nokia is really missing the BIG market of basic phone users like myself. Many basic phone users are already switching to smart phones because of issues like very very very small messaging storage. Just make a goddam basic phone for texting and calling. Those cameras, apps, games, radios etc etc are unbeatable on smart phones because of larger screens.
I can only hope that NOKIA listens to people this time and come with the phones we really want. X21, the one WE want/wish. I really wouldn't understand, why, if they don't.
Talk about Nokia feature phones in their official website has 0.3 ,2, 5 megapixel but they didn't mention how big picture resolution can take but video only VGA resolution or 240x320. 5 MP can't even take 480p
Very interesting. S30 is something people will recognize, something old Nokia users waited for a long time. Good step forward IMO. I keep wondering how would Symbian OS today performe (new Symbian, ofc.). Nokia has potential. Glad to see something's happening. From video, 5710 and 8210 are my favourites.
For the low end and mid range phones, Android is a pig as even on well equipped Samsung and Google mid rangers there are quite a few hiccups that reviewers don't like to mention. I think Meego, Symbian OS or even WebOS could have been developed even further to be just as modern and functional as Android while being better optimized. It's a shame that MS abandoned Windows Phone as that too had potential and was quite fluid even on my old Lumia 520.
I'll be waiting for 8310 or 6510 refresh in 2023. I hope they will make each of their feature phones always w/ 4G and hotspot capabilities. PS. How about same form factor Nokia 5700 Xpress Audio refresh running s60+? 🔥
I think Symbian has been shut down. When this happened, S30 still being used until now. So, I guess, S60 will never back from the dead until they announce its resurrection. I really love how S60 was capable of doing advanced features in compact form factors like amazing cameras - speakers - multimedia capabilities - strong signal reception - complete connectivity solutions etc., but I think there's a clear segmentation for phones with keypad as feature phones and smartphones that we know so far. Web pages have been optimized for smartphones too. I guess, the best solution for people who wants to use simple phone will be compact phones. But, the challenge is the battery capacity and components placement. At least, feature phones need to support latest network technologies like 4G or even 5G so it can be used at least to call people anywhere as 2G has been planned to be shut down. But the price won't be cheap.

Wonder what fb does on it
For which market are these gonna be?
Is there a feature phone that also works as a cellular hotspot
Fingers crossed for no generic android devices...
sir not aa fastcharging support nokia 2660?
Wish these phones had WiFi hot-spot feature. I'd totally see me using one and then an 8 inch tablet for smarter features.
Good point. Hot-spot is a super useful feature for such devices
Do they definitely not have a hot spot feature?
Currently using the 2017 3g 3310 and was really hoping to upgrade to one of these and have a hot spot 🤦♂️
@@docholliday1130 oh.. I'd guess they'd have advertised that in the list of other four(4) features.
@@iaakki yeah I think you're right... What a shame!!
Android 12 seems to have killed battery life on my 5.4 (bought with your recommendation and I'm really happy with jt). I'm binge watching your videos and waiting for a new phone really worth getting from Nokia.
These all look brilliant, I agree the built in ear buds is an amazing deal.
Glad to see Xpress Audio coming back to Market
do any of these have usb-c?
only reason i haven't bought a feature phone yet is lack of usb-c
i'm simply not willing to buy a phone with micro usb in the 2020s
Funny, my Nokia X20 is usb-c, and my housemates 8.3 is usb-c. but we also get chargers as well. It's good when you have a government who won't allow tech companies just plain out pimp its customers...
when will the new n95 release?
If Xiaomi can implement Android on a keypad phone (Xiaomi Qin F21 Pro), then what's pulling Nokia back ?
If you're remaking old stuffs, make them smart too ....
A lot of people are reverting to simple feature phones to get away from all the tracking and data theft that smart phones have as standard
Is Symbian back? Or what does S30+ mean?
Nokia is really missing the BIG market of basic phone users like myself. Many basic phone users are already switching to smart phones because of issues like very very very small messaging storage. Just make a goddam basic phone for texting and calling. Those cameras, apps, games, radios etc etc are unbeatable on smart phones because of larger screens.
Tough 888 running KaiOS please!!! 🙏🏻
I'm excited for the flip one, n wanna use it as a secondary phone...
Could you tell me when will it be launched in India?
I can only hope that NOKIA listens to people this time and come with the phones we really want. X21, the one WE want/wish. I really wouldn't understand, why, if they don't.
When going RETRO is first on your agenda heading towards the 3rd quarter of 2022 🤣
Talk about Nokia feature phones in their official website has 0.3 ,2, 5 megapixel but they didn't mention how big picture resolution can take but video only VGA resolution or 240x320. 5 MP can't even take 480p
They all have VGA cameras on the back, so their resolution in megapixels is about 0.3.
Hi Abdulla, i live in Dubai , so do you know of any store where we can buy all of these phones under 1 roof ?
I usually buy stuff from amazon, but don't think any of these are out yet..
When the 5710 will come....
By end of July early August
When are they going to re-release an E phone with a full physical QWERTY keyboard though?! 🥺🥺🥺
Would love that myself
I hope the T10 develops into something really good by the time I need to replace my tablet.
Is there any Nokias that have 4g with hotspot in candy bar form? WhatsApp installed too
@@aengus.l Nokia has 6300 4G and 8000 4G that have 4G connectivity in candybar form with Whatsapp compatibility. But I can't find any information about the tethering capabilities
@@aengus.l I've found videos of people showing how to activate WiFi hotspot (internet sharing) on Nokia's KaiOS phones. 8110 4G, 2720 flip 4G, 800 tough, 6300 4G, and 8000 4G (three latest mentioned are in candybar form) can do that. Here's some

I'm skeptical about s30+ OS.
Does the 2660 have T9 texting?
are these phones can do a wifi hotspot?
I don't think so but will check when I get them.
Any Nokia button phone has hotspot in it?
the idea of having the eabuds in the phone is dope!
Nokia needs to bring the round camera to the tablet. Other than that, I'm so happy that Nokia finally had 2 good tablets
Android tablets rise!
Also, can we please have an xpressmusic smartphone? That would be interesting to see.
AND more rambling- will we get the x series stuff in the USA? I want premium Nokia in America.
Good evening bro. May I know when Nokia 5.4 will get an android 12 update? Kindly update the info. Thanks
Thank God you changed the background music. Btw this express music with earphones for the price is definitely next step. Now nokia is being "Nokia"
Those bezel though, especially on 5710, it takes 50% of phone's upper area.
Last question if my airpods stop working os there a way i can listen to music another way ?
You should be able to connect any wireless headset to it but I will test this out
Would be nice to see an N8 or N9 re-release, with new hardware and bigger screens. Simply loving the design from that era.
