George Strait once said, "I want to reach the point where people hear my name and immediately think of real country music." Mission accomplished. The. Best. ❤
“The Fireman” is a very upbeat song with some very clever lyrics by George. There’s a lot of humor in the song and is anything but a tearjerker. I highly recommend it! 😂
My hubby who is a firefighter loves to sing that while in the car with me. I told him if he put out flames but mine his water hose would be cut off lol
George is the KING.30 albums, and a long string of hits.the well is deep, and the water is delicious.if you drink of it you will be refreshed and given new life
He's one of the greats ... Another and probably the most underrated artist ever is T Graham Brown . Come Hell or High Water is one of the best songs ever written and Turn the wine back into water
King George Strait! 60’s #1 Hits, not including all those that did not hit #1. A real Cowboy, a Traditional artists. You’d enjoy his positive messages!
Can't go wrong with the O.G. George over his long career has recorded 126 singles for country music radio. Of those, 112 reached the top ten on the charts, so he has the most Top 10 country songs of any recording artist in country history. How many #1's? How about 60! He's the only artist to accomplish this feat of musical superiority.
King George has 60 # 1 hits. Troubadour is one of my favorites. George eloped with his high school Sweetheart Norma. They have been married for over 50yrs
🥰Loved your reaction to King George!! He's a true legend in the Country music world!! Fun fact: in 2013, at the age of 60... George scored his 60th #1 single ("Give It All We Got")!! That's 60 #1 singles by the age of 60!!! Don't know of any other artist, in ANY genre of music who can say that!! George is a legend and holds the title "King George"! He's a sweet man with a heart of gold and a phenomenal catalogue!! I recommend "Troubadour" next. Although... you can't go wrong with any of his songs. They're all amazing. Great reaction and... good luck with your dog! lol!!!🤣😂🤣
I know for sure - George has had 50 #-1 hits ; it might be 60 by now. It's been a while since his Album - Strait Out Of The Box was released. This album was to let you have all 50 #-1's up to that point in one place all together.
Great reaction Sebs!! You and your Wife should have a movie night and watch Pure Country! Staring King George himself!! Please let us know what Ya'll think!
You should really go down the George Strait rabbit hole he has 60 No. 1 singles, more than any artist of any genre, and 33 platinum or multi-platinum-selling albums, more than any country artist and third across all genres behind only The Beatles and Elvis Presley.
I love how open minded you have been and honest about not necessarily liking country music, but when your pleasantly surprised? You give the artists their props and admit there’s something in the music for everyone to like. Peace and love to you and your beautiful family.
That is a pair I'd love to see. I'll never forget back in the 80s, middle of the week, in a little college theater, in a dusty town between San Francisco and Los Angeles, I spent almost 4 hours watching Merle Haggard, Conway Twitty, and George Jones. To this day, I shake my head. That place didn't hold much over a thousand it seemed. R.I.P gentlemen.
When Country was all about cheating and honky tonks, I didn't like too much of it. Then I started hearing more and more story-telling songs that were about much more than what I used to hear. And, of course, Country has actual patriotic songs which is sorely lacking in most, if not all, of the other genres.
This song came out during my first or second week in 8th grade. This is the song that I heard that switched from a pop fan to a country fan. I love George Strait. He is the King of country music. He started in the early 80’s or late 70’s. He is the best! He has over 60, #1 hit records!
Cold by Chris Stapleton at the CMA awards..perfect ..a must review..first day on channel really liking your spirit .. Chris also did a duet with Justin Timberlake that was magical...
'King George' has 60 #1 hits & is legendary for traditional country. He can make you laugh or cry. He has love songs, break up songs, funny songs. LOVE this man. The fine, decent human first, then the talent second.
@Sebs Duran you need to react to Damn Strait ( spelled like George's last name) by Scotty McCreery it's got several George Strait songs in the lyrics. EXCELLENT SONG
I absolutely hated country music. Then, in 2007, I was taken to a Brad Paisley concert. Sixteen years later I am still listening to my beloved country music.
Of George Strait’s 60 number one songs, that one wouldn’t make my top 30…Amarillo by Morning, The Fireman, If I Hurry I Can Still Make Cheyenne, I Saw God Today, Cowboys Like Us, Troubadour, The Chair, The Cowboy Rides Away, Oceanfront Property, Marina Delray, Somewhere Down In Texas, Does Fort Worth Ever Cross Your Mind, Unwound and Run are all much more representative of his sound.
💜 King George won me over to country through my kid brother and All My Exes Live in Texas. My personal favorites, though, were The Chair, Baby’s Gotten Good at Goodbye, and Baby Blue.
If you would like to hear some playful country try "Bottoms Up" by Brantley Gilbert and I would love to see you react to the video by Dierks Bentley "What Was I Thinking"
New Orleans in the house. George Strait is the GOAT! I'm going to see him in Nashville TN July 29th. Chris Stapleton and Little Big Town are gonna be there also. I so needed a vacation. I'm excited💜💚💛
Hey Sebs Duran, can you react to 😇Gabriel Henrique: Stand Up ( Cynthia Erivo) , Lead the Way ( MC ) you'll not regret at all; see you soon and God bless you🙏
NOT a country person and knew George Strait was definitely pure country so never listened to him, until now. Figured if you could do it, time for me also. And yeah just what I thought, it's ok not great like Chris Stapleton (but Chris not pure country) so my 1st and last of good old George. I am a Metal, Heavy Rock, Rock type a girl,🎸🥁 but been told time to try other stuff. Using you and others on RUclips to spread my wings; share the experience and confirm my feelings are legit!💯☯☮
I love country music. It is REAL music, with lyrics people can relate to. It can lift your spirits and make you smile or bring back memories of life and love with a loved one. It touches the soul! The best part is that you can understand the lyrics. Country music and singers encompass all of life, feelings, gains, and losses. George Strait, Allan Jackson, Loretta Lynn, Dolly Parton, Tammy Wynette, Dotty West, so many many excellent singers. Don Williams is one of my top favorites. His love for his wife and the life they had shared came through ever song, verse, and went straight to your heart. Alabama is absolutely incredible. I have such wonderful memories of when I was a truck driver and all 4 of my kids were lined up sitting in the bunk singing along with the tape of Alabama. John Denver is my utmost favorite, but he is not a country western singer, even though his music is of life, love, heart aches, and our beautiful country. When I am feeling ornery and rebellious, I listen to Waylon Jennings or Hank Williams Jr. When I want Alabama boogie music, then it is Jerry Jeff Walker. There are a ton of awesome and incredible country music legends and singers. I love them all!! Unfortunately, the new age country has steered away from traditional country and there isn't hardly any of their music I like. So I pull out my CDs of all my oldies and listen to them and keep a smile on my face all day.
I’ve two-stepped to many a George Strait song back in the early 80’s when he was playing small dance halls around San Marcos, Texas, never dreaming he would go on to have 60+ number 1’s…he’s the best!!! Lol, kinda figgered out he was on the road to stardom when at the last dancehall that I saw him at the entire dance floor was shoulder to shoulder with people just listening to him sing….
There have been greats and no disrespect, but this man is the GOAT of country music, hands down. Heard he hung it up. Glad I got to see so many greats in my life before they killed country. Absolute class act. Amarillo By Morning is my go to but he had to have over 50 number ones.
King George hold the record for most number one albums and singles, gold albums, platinum albums, and multi platinum albums in the history of country music. He is 11th in the most number one albums in all other genres. He is third with most good and platinum albums in the history of music. Coming in behind Elvis and the Beatles. Some might would try to persuade you that others reign as King of Country such as Garth Brooks, but not even close. And George reigns quietly and modestly.
Huge fan of the channel don’t do the whole up vote site but I get it. George is and always will be the king list of number 1 songs a mile long. Interesting at the end of his career he was just about walked out of country music by Nashville execs, wrote a song and performed with Alan Jackson “Murder on music row” essentially starting the feud between Nashville country and the “non radio “ country it’s an amazing song! Keep up the good work man!
Would you please react to my favorite George strait song I saw God today? Thank you and much love to you and your family. Have a wonderful day and God bless.
Sexiest man in country music! Can't wait to see him and Chris Stapleton in May!!! Try out The Chair. Another corny song but awesome nevertheless. And he is still married to his childhood sweetheart Norma.
George Strait once said, "I want to reach the point where people hear my name and immediately think of real country music." Mission accomplished. The. Best. ❤

How could anyone not like this song? George is the KING of Country.
Your chuckle when he showed her the note, yeah, that was genuine. You can't fake it! Definitely a cheesy country fan, just like the rest of us. 😊👍
“The Fireman” is a very upbeat song with some very clever lyrics by George. There’s a lot of humor in the song and is anything but a tearjerker. I highly recommend it! 😂
Yes!!!! Totally underrated and hilarious song!!!
My hubby who is a firefighter loves to sing that while in the car with me. I told him if he put out flames but mine his water hose would be cut off lol

I was coming to suggest Troubadour as well! LOVE it! But honestly, can’t go wrong with anything from King George!
Songs based on his real life wife, whose name is in the song. They were HS sweethearts and have been married for over 50 years. A true class act.
I know for sure - George has had 50 #-1 hits ; it might be 60 by now. It's been a while since his Album - Strait Out Of The Box was released. This album was to let you have all 50 #-1's up to that point in one place all together.
My favorites of his are Troubadour, I Saw God Today, and Moments That Take Your Breath Away.
I love this song. My husband and I have been together over 22 years and we got started with a note in high school.
Great reaction Sebs!! You and your Wife should have a movie night and watch Pure Country! Staring King George himself!! Please let us know what Ya'll think!
George is country music. He's known as King George. 60 #1 hits and many more top 20 hits.
The song “Damn Strait” by Scotty McCreery builds on the Strait legacy. Check it out!
George Strait is the KING of Texas! Ask any Texan.❤

You'd love George's hit "The Chair" too. It's a true og playa song. Haha 🤠

You should check out his song The Chair. Very cleverly written song. But honestly, you can’t go wrong with George! 💜
One of the best songs by George Strait is RUN. One of the only songs I will sing at karaoke.
I would also highly recommend George singing “I saw God today”. I promise you will love it.
I remember when this one came out. It was everywhere. Can't say I'm surprised that it was the SotY
🙏 🙏 please, more George Strait 🥰. Try Troubadour, or anything really. You can't go wrong!
Wait, are you on a treadmill? LOL!😂
You can do a week of George strait and not scratch the surface. You'll laugh, you'll cry, and you will love every minute.
I love how open minded you have been and honest about not necessarily liking country music, but when your pleasantly surprised? You give the artists their props and admit there’s something in the music for everyone to like. Peace and love to you and your beautiful family.
