Cameron Monaghan is such an underrated actor. I cant even describe it (at least not in english🙃) but his appereance and facial expressions are soooo good. Especiall, his Performance as in Gotham was fantastic❤❤

I like the idea that even if he were raised under normal circumstances he still wouldn’t be a Jedi robes kinda guy. Cal is definitely special when you consider he’s one of a small handful of Jedi that actually survived order 66 and beyond, and as such I like how he learned that more realistic apparel and weaponry are needed to survive. Not necessarily robes but maybe a light weight outfit overall he’s limber in, or even better, straight up armor he can wear in the new game that would genuinely protect him from blaster fire. Which in my head canon cal is always wearing legitimate armor, not just a cool Star Wars outfit.

To be honest, the poncho sorta evokes the Jedi robes from the time of the old republic to me. Not only are they practical weather protection and Cameron looks fly sporting one on stage, but as an Order 66 survivor he would want something to hold onto his heritage but not immediately make him stand out as a Jedi to the hunters.
They should start having random people wearing ponchos in all Star Wars shows just to make people go "IS THAT!?" and it never is. Until years later, when people have given up hope... it's finally him.
