Star Wars Jedi Fallen Order: 10 Things The Game DOESN'T Tell You

- Star Wars: Jedi Fallen Order is Respawn's attempt at a single-player game in a galaxy far, far away. It's actually pretty unique, and might actually be more mysterious than expected. We've jumped in, here's some stuff you need to know!

The only thing i have a problem with is returning to the ship like i legit spent 5 hours getting off Zeffo
JJ Henry same lmfao
Returning the ship after the first tomb was pretty easy. Just head straight forward from the tomb into the ice caves. One of the elevators in there takes you straight to the cliffs next to the ship. The after the second tomb.....that one did take some time, but another event happened in between that I won't spoil for anyone so there was that.
Just look at the map and take shortcuts
SAME I GOT SO FUCKING LOST I WANTED TO CRY I KEPT ACCIDENTALLY GOING BACK AND FORTH FOR HOURS
Ikr How about a waypoint i mean come on i have a map can i get a waypoint so i know where im going.
Everybody gangsta until they step into Oggdo Bogdo’s cave
I seen its name and I laughed, boy was that laugh short lived.
Hermz
Big frog
*chuckles* I’m in danger
That was preset easy. Early in the game I learnt quick and just cheated by sitting near cave entrance just evading then striking every few seconds
He made me rage so much until I realised I could half his hp from the above attack. btw, this was before I realised I could stim myself. LOL
The main problem is that if you get lost on a level, you can end up going in circles. Frustrating circles that drag the game on and on. Also, trying to get back to a location is a bit tricky unless you have a photographic memory because some areas don't "appear" to be bi-directional and that can cause you to end up lost in space. My advice is to be OBSERVANT as you decipher your paths along your way to the objective.
I hope this new Jedi survivor dont be like this
You realize you have a map, right?
@@Byrenious Can't speak for OP but I don't play open world games very often and, tbh it took me a while to really figure out how useful the map is. Think I was on my second visit to Zaffo before I got the hang of it. It might seem dumb, but if you're used to more linear gameplay it doesn't always feel very intuitive. And if you aren't used to using a map then the worlds can feel like a labyrinth at times.
@@Byrenious the map looks like shit
@@farrel66 the map looks like a watered down version of the terrain
You can also get the double edge once you return from Zeffo. Instead of Kashyyk, go back to Bogano, use new abilities to reach two more stims for BD-1 and the double edge in one of Kordova’s work benches
Was looking for this comment cuz that's how I get the double bladed lightsaber each playthrough.
OMG Thank you! That was so much easier than trying to run through Dathomir!
I figured this out by accident after fixing my scomp link and then heading to Bogano and exploring, way easier than the route in the video...exploration always pays off folk...souls lessons

Lmao that’s LEGO Star Wars Logic 😂
come back when you unlock the abilities when objects are highlighted red.
Vaughn Cowen omgggg reallyyyyy

That’s exactly what I thought. Because it did it in LEGO Star wars
What I hate is when your trying to get back to your ship but miss a jump and land on one of those giant slides that lead to the other side of the planet
Same i wanted to die
Dude fuck that
FUCK IM GOING THROUGH THIS RIGHT NOW> FUCK ZEFFFO>When i was done and i found out the scomp link is there i look at mymap ....then said FUCK THAT and went to the ship
I really thought i was dumb man fucking zeffo..
This seemed to have happened to a lot of people
The “first stim” you mentioned isnt the first one that’s possible to get. After you’ve unlocked the wall run you can go back to where you met BD-1 and go forward instead of right when you climb up the branches. You can then wall run to the other side after running past the crabs. There will be a hole you can jump down to get the first aquirable stim
Was looking for this comment
I almost missed that one too...but now I know when to obtain it asap
I am late to this game but i have played like 50% of the game and i didnt even know about the extra stims
@@realkarma9403 that was me the first go round 😂 I'm currently on my umpteenth playthrough, and I only just learned of Target Lock Jumps, so I understand 😂
For additional geographical details, a little further down the hole should be a meditation point
I got through dathomjr the hard way with no knowledge because I wanted to go to dathomir first. I fought through every enemy and eventually made it through. Really prepared me for the rest of the game.
same...
The rest must have been a complete doddle.
If you really made it through Dathomir early... brah you PLAYED the game, LOL. The rest of the levels are meant to prepare you FOR DATHOMIR. The Nightbrothers are way more competent Melee fighters than the stormtroopers, as are the Nightbrother archers. There's a reason why Dooku hoped to recruit Mother Talzin to the Separatists; it would have added the Nightbrothers to his army. More than likely several of them were Force sensitive to a degree, just not as much as Maul or Savage.
It was actually a relief to go back to fighting Imperials on Ilum, LOL.
SAME WTF, although i felt sad that i couldn't make the jump, then i figured out that dathomir was not supposed to be your first visit lol
I fall through 2 elevators. Sometimes the ship in hyperspace. Fall through the world to bottom where I sometimes can't find a place to fall. And it freezes my CPU. I am 97% on every planet with new journey +. And saying all that...love the game.
"Can I get a hint BD-1?"
"Beep boop beep."
"Great, thanks!"
"Huh, that's a good idea!"
I always try to figure out if there trolling when that happens

First time getting the double side lightsaber: "Time for some sweet revenge"
Minutes later: Continues to die
And you can get the double sided on the first planet.
Bogano
And on Kashyyyk
@@calebcoffey8944 where on kashyyk? I got mine on Bogano
There is another double saber station on the other planet you start with
I recently finished the platinum trophy for this game on PlayStation, and boy did I LOVE this game. My only complaint was the lack of fast travel. Repeatedly walking through the entire levels of a map was stressful as hell.
So annoying
indeed, at one point i wished there was a way to call on a ship and just drop me at certain points as a shortcut :D
Exploration is good , puzzles difficulty and numbers is annoying
I’m guessing u played survivor 😂
Fun fact: while dathomir isn’t hard even in the beginning, you don’t have to run like shown here. Go to Zeffo, get the force push, then straight back to bogano. There you can find Ino Cordovas room where you also get the fouble bladed lightsaber with a piece of dialogue. Essentially you find Cordova’s emitter and you feel comforted carrying a piece of him on your quest.
"Just avoid the enemies, you cant beat them right now"
You underestimate my power
ThatGuyFM don’t try it
Maximiliano Guerrero V. I already defeated all those enemies, without running, before watching the video. They even cut you off before the enemies get REALLY cheap.
I literally spent an entire afternoon beating every single one of those fuckers on jedi grand master the moment I unlocked Dathomir
Dude I grinded for like 3 days to get it on Dathomir. The rest of the game seemed easy AF after that lol
Just like the frog on the first planet, damn i spent like 2 hours to beat it 😂
My biggest complaint is that there’s a excessive amount of spiders for a Star Wars game
There are a lot of spiders, but i don't think that means it's not a Star Wars game.
yes, and they can be terrifying if you don’t know they are there
Like when the albino ‘whatever-it’s-called’ jumps on you out of nowhere
Berf still there have never been this many in Star Wars we only really saw 1 in canon
EchoEight yeah and I have severe arachnophobia so I can’t get through Kassyke it however you spell it
I know I’m way late on this game.
But there is a setting for automatic climb. Turn it on. Big help makes the game way more smooth and enjoyable
Don’t know why if you’re hanging a wall you would have to push a button to keep hanging a wall
Maybe if you put out a revisit bc of the sequel announcement you should add it!
gotta love how i only found that out on my 5th play through and you are right makes it so much better
Mine was automatically on I think
yeah, and you can still use the grab button when you jump off or something
I think this was added with new journey+ update
There is an autograb setting yes
Returning to the ship the first time on Zeffo was probably the most frustrating part of this game
When you found the double bladed lightsaber by accident
I was so hyped, duel of fates played in my head for the rest of dathomir
yeah wtf, i thought i got the lightsaber way too early because i only had the skills unlocked and much later i unlocked skills to improve the double lightsaber
You can get it that early, but if you don't the next place is with the Wookies before you fight the Ninth sister
I got it in dathomir by accident too
@@ZeketheUnclaimed Actually, that's the third place. The easiest way to get it is after Zeffo, you just need to revisit Bogano and you can get there.
"run past the enemies, you can't beat them right now." Not with that attitude, you can't.
I was able to beat everything when I first came across it on Jedi grandaster and I went to dathomir as my first planet

There was only one time in this gsmr where I ran... Those who have finished the game will understand.
@@rex1buster same us dark souls players back down to nothing, also i went to dathomir by mistake and only used 3 stims the whole game

Someone probably shared this, but just for funsies:
You can actually get 4 healies for your feelies early on. On Bogano, before returning to your ship and after acquiring the Wall Run ability, jump along a left platforming path that descends into a bowl of crabby enemies. Fight or fly past them through the wall running section to find a platform with a big hole. Angle the camera and either jump to the nearest ledge or safely climb the vines down. Don't miss because not only will you miss the crate with the addition med vial, you'll have to run through the level to get back here, and then run through everything to get back to the ship.
If successful you'll have 3 vials before you to Zeffo and get the extra heal in this video, which upon acquiring will net you 4 healies whenever your feelies are lower than Bantha poodu.
And that's my addition to this, hope it helps someone.
I'm eagerly awaiting the sequel due out in March!
Thank you sir, you are a gentleman and a scholar! My feelies are quite happy! 😁😁😁
Anyone still on Zeffo in 2024?

@@deehbowden655😂 it’s a nightmare at times!
You don't need to go to Dathomir asap to get the saber upgrade. Just go the Zeffo and complete your objective there. Than go back to Borgano and search for an abandoned workshop, there you'll find the upgrade. And you won't need to Leeroy Jenkin's your way through enemies who are 10× your level.
I went to dathomir first (without realising it was too hard) and for some dumb ass reason spent many hours fighting my way through that section on Grand Jedi master difficulty, it was painful but I think I thought it was meant to be like that as I loved playing sekiro. Plus I got the double bladed lightsaber
Any vid links??

Yuh, my new controller might be almost broken by now...
Interesting, I played on Jedi master and went to dathomir first and was just fine. It was tough, but I didn’t get frustrated.
It was a bit tough (on Jedi master difficulty) when I went there before zeffo, but it wasn’t that bad.
I just lowered my difficulty, then always evaded then attacking. And I also targeted the guys with bows
You can also get the double Saber on Bogano pretty early. You need force push and the scomp link (which you described above), so it's not quite as early but it's SO much easier. It's in the Abandoned Workshop bout halfway up the circular staircase
One of my favourite aspects of the game aside from combat are the soundtracks, they're emotional when they need to be,they're iconic when they need to be and at some parts of the game they're even scary as well when in regards to the second sister boss fights,3 of the soundtracks that get me most emotional is the soundtrack that you hear in the main menu, the order 66 soundtrack and the soundtrack that you hear when you're about to build your lightsaber
Yooo I swear when I was at Ilum and built my lightsaber, the soundtrack that came after that was hyping me so hard I shed a tear when Cal took down scout troopers with his new ability lol
@@PVCGunita Yooo! Yea! There's a portion during Ilum just after building your new lightsaber where you fight like 4 Scout Commanders, a few Stormtroopers and a Baton Purge Trooper. I had such a blast combining saber attacks with Force abilities that afterwards I teared up from how pumped and stoked I was that it felt that good to play a Star Wars game. Take into consideration I got love for ALL the old Legends content and despise the last three episodic films. Happy to say this game kinda brought me back into the fold.
bruh the combat is mid. Parrying doesnt work half the time
@@chrispirilloisebooIa and what difficulty did you have the game on when parrying was only good for half the time

You can actually get the double lightsaber in the Abandoned Workshop on planet Bogano right after your first trip to Zeffo. It's a lot easier too and not as much running.
Yes. That’s how I got it
Actually it is the first upgrade of the lightsaber so it will pop up on any planet visited in the right order :D
But I was also pretty shocked bout Dathomir, which I still haven't seen and had rest of the planets at 80% at least :D
I honestly thought this was the only place to get it cause it's the only place I've ever gotten it
Got it on dathomir in my first playthrough and randomly picked it up on bogano in my second, thought I'd glitched out the game or something lmao
Found this on accident. God of War 4 habit of exploring
Anyone else feel guilty killing some of the more “charismatic” storm troopers?
only when they scream "i dont wana die here" when there is one left in a group haha pity
Oscar Bradley a lesson learned too late. Don’t step to the Jedi!
"Uh, hello? Any help? No?"
No.
“oh? i’m the only one left!”
For newbies finding this: single blade does singnificantly more damage than double blade. Dblade is only better if ur going against 3+ enemys or if ur using ur force using attack( counterpart to the overhead slash for sblade).
But against bosses or minibosses lile the purges, use singleblade
Fun fact. You can get the double sided lightsaber on the planet after Zeffo too. I don't remember the exact location, but I'm playing the game again and I found it there. When you're making your way up the giant tree, look out for a lightsaber upgrade station.
I beat the game a few hours ago. I just now learned there are stim upgrades. Finished the whole damn game with only 2 stims. God would've been so much easier.
I had three (I stumbled across the Zeffo one in this video and thought it was a one off) when I completed the story.
Due to all this issolation I decided to go exploring (I've explored Bogona, Illum and Zeffo fully and mucked around on the other two) and now I have 8. I only rest when I travel between planets now.

@@NotPako the only time i did that was to get the double bladed lightsaber early.

Another tip I'd give about the skill tree is, there's a skill you can unlock in the combat section that allows you to perform what's basically a dash attack. GET THIS SKILL. Combining it with the dodge and sprint controls, it will allow you to get in quickly, do some damage, then get out fast.
The 11th thing the game doesnt tell you:
*Oggdo Boggdo was trying to save you from getting the pink poncho*

I fought him without healing itens and upgrades in the beginning, just to not being able to open the crate. When I returned to the planet with the hack hability, I got the most shit poncho of the game... at least was funny. Kkkkkkk
I got the double bladed lightsaber upgrade early, and my favorite thing was in the fight with the Ninth Sister, when she turned on the second blade on her lightsaber, I did the same with mine and screamed, “Let’s GOOOO!!!”
OMG I did the exact same thing I literally said "Oh yeah? I can do that too, bring it!" 😂 I love that videogames allows us to play this fictional roles and feel like we are actually in the game

Easier instructions for Dathomier. After existing the ship follow the path, climb on the the open area, turn LEFT, along the edge, you find a little cave/hideout/think which is basically just a rain save space. Climb it and you are on the path to the bothers temple/palace/think. Go past the brother guards, now there is essentially just one way to follow. you can talk to the traveleer but if you turn around there is the workbench.
No "turn right, climb, climb, wall run, turn around, jump, etc" and you are not even near the guards yet. Just "turn left, untill you find something to climb, climb it, follow the path to the left (not towards your ship though), and just straight on follow the way until you meat the old man".
Going to Dathomir first is insane! It’s so much easier to get it the other way.
Once you complete the first tomb on Zeffo make your way to the monument section and you’ll be able to access a new area thanks to your abilities. Inside the Imperial structure you’ll find a workbench with an upgrade for BD.
Return to the Mantis and take the option of returning to Bogano. Once there make your way to the hidden workshop area, use BD’s new upgrade to get inside and access the workbench inside to acquire the upgrade for your lightsaber
"Don't get into the habit of tapping the block button"

Parrying, and deflecting saved me so many times against the Purge troopers literally was no other way I could beat em unless I pushed them off ledges
Yeah but about 15 hours in on Jedi master it got pretty easy to parry
I just finished playing it and I think the deadliest enemy are the horned slugs.
That and the rats, I swear to god
The fucking goat
Deadliest to me is 100% ninth sister I’m on boss level against her and I can’t beat her. I mastered the ability to bead up the horned slugs just hold Y and backup then repeat in three hits.
i hate those things
The hardest thing for me was the white albino spider
My favorite thing about this game is when you just start to realize something doesn’t feel right you immediately get an upgrade to deal with it and it feels amazing
Dathomir is a living hell to find ur way back to the ship
Warns about the spoiler for double saber but shows gameplay with it beforehand
Proxyudai it’s also in the trailers.
It was spoilers for the level
Darth Vader was in the Instagram trailer. Biggest spoiler ever
It was a spoiler for where it is located, not its existence
Here's my tip for Zeffo: Find some way, any way, to get into the ice caves. Look for any possible ice slide you can that takes you underground. In the Ice Caves there's a lift that takes you straight back to the landing pad.
Thanks needed that
i found those damn caves at 95%
I’ve played this game 3 times. Just found that today. Life saver.
Found it on my first try, when I had to go back to the ship, I opened a door and a weird yellow guy was there...... right near the elevator.... :D
You can also get the Double Bladed Lightsaber upgrade on Bogano, though Dathomir allows you to get it early! I actually got it on Dathomir as I explored it first (I was playing on Story Mode as I usually start with the easiest difficulty then work my way up to the harder ones. Also not a Souls-like player.) The game definitely reminds me of Castlevania: Lords of Shadow as the platforming and climbing sections really remind me of that game.
Cere advised me how dangerous dathomir was and avoided going there until I needed to. She advised me to go back to Bogano when she told me dathomir was available and found the scomp link and the double edged light saber and 2 extra stims also.
As someone who is new to these types of games,
For difficulty I found that Jedi master for every enemy and then bosses use Jedi knight or even story depending how much you struggle
When you go to the end of zeffo and realise there is no fast travel
Fuck that maze of a planet man
Dathomir is way worse imo. Had to look up a walkthrough for how to get to the witch’s place in the corner of the map.
just look at the map, there is a train literally to your ship. Damn you, casual whiners
@@ddfcoold yeah I think the map system wasn't to bad
Going all the way to the end of kashyyyk and back 4 times for the sake of 100% was worse. Just saying.

Yes!!!
FACTS!!
its not that bad. annoying yes but not hard. granted i play on jedi master
True.
yeah hahaha those undead nightsisters are a pain to fight in number, gotta rely on mass force push
I keep reading you should get the double saber at dathomir right away, but you can also get it on the first planet after you've been to zeffor. Without needing to run through 1k enemies you can't defeat. Feels way more natural and you won't need it before
A tip is that you can find a stim upgrade even earlier right after you learn to wallrun on Bogano. Where you first meet BD-1 above the bridge he puts down, head towards the path you aren’t supposed to go at the very beginning and you will be in an area leading towards a wall running section. Head past it and down a hole in front of it and open the yellow chest for a stim upgrade.
Talkimg about Dathomir “avoid the enemies, you can’t beat them right now”. Man, you underestimate the amount of times I’m willing to die to get to that double saber lol

(you can upgrade to a double blade on bogano in one of eno cordova's secret workshops after you get certain abilities)
This might seem odd but I actually enjoyed the Grandmaster difficulty more than just Master. The timing of everything, even though you had to be much more precise, was quicker and more fluid to me. Probably not many people felt that way, or even tried grandmaster, but that was my experience with it.
On my first plathrough of the game, I got so lost on Dathomir that I found the double sided lightsaber upgrade after 30 minutes of running in circles. It was great

I always go to Dathomir first, for the double-bladed saber. And run as Bravely Bald Sir Robin. Two+ stims will do it...
Funny thing is you're saved by the cutscene here if you go to the "old guy" first: the last nightbrother who chasing you while chickening out, remains squirming in the air at the top of the stairs (like the falling animation). Go get the saber then you can try it right on the still yelling brother.

i got it on Bogano in Eno cordovas workshop after zeffo
I went straight to dathomir after bagano and got it (although I’ve already finished the game before watching the video)
Got mine on Bogano after I got the Scomp Link..no muss no fuss of having to run by enemies like on Dathomir.
I got it the way I think is most intended, abandon workshop on zeffo. Just playing through and found it, not trying to find it. I personally didnt care to find it, my standard saber is just fine
i just followed the story since theres so many areas you need to unlock abilities to get to.
so i got it on kashyyyk on top of the origin tree.
I played the game on 3 health stims, not knowing that you could get more
I finished it on 2
You have suffered greatly, I will now give you a imaginary reddit gold
I now have 7
Sam Lewis lmao I only hat two which was why I had to play mainly on Knight and Story Mode 😂😂😂
I had to have 8 just to beat malicos
I just started this and let me just say it's a love hate relationship. Each planet is truly aMAZEing with branching pathways, and shortcuts and hidden areas. I swear sometimes I forget where i'm going because the objective is only on your map and you cant set checkpoints.
I do hate double backing just to find a new undiscovered route or item because i couldn't unlock it without a certain unlock found on another planet
I really love the design of the levels. I have never played a game that I have to revisit so many times the same level because I gained a new ability to unlock certain area.
I remember that I was looking for a chest for quite some time and I did not find it, and I look for it on internet and it was because I did not have an ability... I was angry but at the same time, really impressed how much a tiny part of the game could change with a new addition.
Really love the game, if you are a fan of Star Wars (and Uncharted) is a good game to play.
Thanks for the tip for the double light saber for anyone who is new I recommend wait until you get the Jedi pull ability then it will be much easier dealing with those aggressive warriors.

@@gameranxTV I beaten the game and got the inquisitor suit and btw nice Carl reference form aqua Teen hunger force
I bought it yesterday, let's just say I didn't sleep... Something about this game just drives me towards constantly trying to aquire abilities/gear that'll let me do this and that, and a new challenge presents itself after every goal I reach. And reaching the goals is hard as well, since I get sidetracked comically easy in this game. It's a major time-sink, but I enjoyed every second of what I've played
Simon15050 same lol I’m on my 2nd mission of Dathomir after finishing Kayyyshyk but I’m done for the night 😂
Simon15050 I’m the complete opposite I loved games like uncharted but this game seems tedious for me and there’s way and I mean way too much platforming
@@Agarica550 agreed.
Alex Garcia I like the platforming
Man I stayed up till 3 in the morning just to beat the game
For the love of all god, new players. When you get the choice between dathomir and zeffo, choose zeffo!
If you know Star Wars lore you would know Dathomir was gonna be trouble
I actually went to Dathomir on my first playthrough, Jedi Master, with 2 max stims. And I did it pretty well, not gonna lie. But yes, if you don't have much experience in action games, avoid Dathomir at all costs.
I went straight to Dathomir cause mama didn't raise no bitch. Then I had to shamefully return to Zeffo because I needed that stuff to get past that one section on Dathomir.
Lol I chose dahtomir but I didnt even got off the ship something told me that i was going to get my ass handed to me big time so I got the fuck out of there
Went straight to Dathomir because I thought all open world game are the same, but here on fallen order exploring and chest opening gives you NOTHING but cosmetics..
I'm currently running through it for the first time. Makes sense that it'd be considered a Dark Soul-esque time game because there are a lot of enemies that are quite challenging. I've learned that saber throw and vantage points can make some very difficult encounters rather manageable.
The dual lightsaber is absurdly strong if you have the necessary perks, and with the attack using Block + Strong attack buttons.
It's so fun sprinting into enemies and automatically deflecting their lasers
This game needs a fast travel to the meditation points imo...the maps are huge and a bit confusing to be honest. Especially when there are like 4 floors that layer on top of one another
It would be easier with teleportation BUT with how much i played the maps (in order to 100% them) i ended up remembering most of the key routes .. the holomap helps too if i forget anything.
It wouldn't be so bad if the holomap wasnt garbage
@@6Rock6God6 That i can agree with .. at time its really hard to understand where u exactly are unless u zoom in all the way and focus on the routes u took.. Well hopefully in the next game they give us a better version of it.
some planets are easier to traverse than others.
Sc00by Shark this game sucks
I love force push in this game instead of fighting just push everyone off edges 😂
It's the most effective strategy I've found, especially for when you do a fight for the 50th time because you keep getting lost
I honestly have so much fun doing that 😂
Me too I push purge troopers off the ledges
e3musicmanAK those purge trooper were soooo annoying thats why when i saw an edge or a pit i was getting reallyyy happy to get rid of them with one hipity hopity force push😂
i also use LB and Y ( I play on XBOX ONE) and it throws the other blade
Some enemies are tricky to parry, so I mostly just dodge roll behind them and flay open thier back side. Its really focus oriented.
Great video, and I absolutely love fallen order, from the combat to exploring.
Everybody “ learns to parry”
Literally me today” beat the entire game without learning how to parry”
Im playing on jedi master now after playing a third of the game on knight... and unlike he said I do a TON of dodging, very little parrying. maybe mechanically its not the best way to fight but I find it to be more smooth in the timing and I have a lot of success with it. Also the range is pretty good on it because sometimes I find myself to far away to counter attack after my dodge (thats the only flaw I see with dodging vs parrying) Lastly when dodging properly you target the enemy and dodge/roll around them not away. This way the enemy now has their back exposed
Talan Stevenson same lmaoooo
You'll have to learn it if you play on grandmaster.
Nima Najafi how do you know that I didn’t play on grand master
@@talanstevenson8847 because you didn't learn to parry.
Getting back to your ship is a mission of its own.
Facts and I hate the game for that
@Year bro I feel your pain....
bro i finished the first zeffo mission, spent three hours trying to get back to my ship and gave up for two weeks. eventually worked up the courage to try again and ended up following a step by step guide just to get back to the ship.
oh and getting back to your ship after returning to zeffo never got any easier lmao
@@maitiucairns6059 I feel this pain on another lvl…..
I managed to get to Dathomir Find the Astrium on Jedi Knight with only two stims. I didn't realise you could get extra stim upgrades 😫
I love how watching this, I know these tips and that I am not a dark souls fan, or looked up tutorials beforehand( only help I got was how to get out of the temple) and that dathomir, I head on with these guys until I randomly got the double bladed sword.
"Avoid the enemies you can't beat them right now."
Me, playing on Jedi Master difficulty fighting all of them: you underestimate my power!
Cameron Miguel
It’s over. They’ve got the high ground.
Funny thing is you can beat any enemy no matter when
Me playing on Grandmaster mode. What do you Mean I can’t beat them yet?
@@randyjax09 they may have the high ground, but I'm not dumb enough to jump over. I'll go around.
Tyler Evans
The irony with this game is that jumping over and striking enemies with batons has saved my butt countless times. 😁
I swear this Games makes me feel sometimes dumb as hell
every single puzzle makes me sit for the entire day
Sitting in a room.... why would they leave me here if there's no where to go°¿°¿°¿ wtf!!! ....oh there's the door
fax bro
I never completed this game because I couldn't comprehend the mechanics
That moving wall where you have to push then climb up but pops back open too effing fast. Tried that for about 30 minutes before remembering I had force slow and could use slow and push. 😂
(7:00) I know its been a few years but you can do this on bogano, it's actually easier to get to
As always, great content Falcon.
1st play through I’m on Jedi Master difficulty and it’s to easy. 2nd play through I’ll up the ante and try Jedi Grand Master. Favorite game by a landslide this year and looking forward to doing a replay unless AC VI comes out before I beat it my first play through.
Lmao. This entire time I thought I was watching Jedi Survivor 10 things. Lmfaooo. I’m like non of this looks familiar, none of it it 🤦🏼♂️
I got the double lightsaber when I found Endo Cordova's lightsaber on Bogano. Didn't have to go to Dathomir to get it
I got mine on illum
@bec hiscock In the Abandoned Workshop on Bogano, there’s a workbench. You'll need Force push to get inside. By interacting with the workbench, you’ll earn Eno Cordova’s lightsaber sleeve which will create the double bladed lightsaber
I got mine on Kyshikk
MidnightNachos I don’t care
It's better there too cause he gives a little speech about cordova
I have mastered the act of yeeting myself out of harm's way, I've gotten pretty far without relying on on parrying
Cryptic Vrchhu bruh same, spent the first half of the game double pressing B constantly
Also one tap is good as it brings your force bar back up. I’ve competed the game twice but I ain’t even trying the hardest mode fuck that
I press O too many times to count if I get stressed. Or switch to two blades.
May the yeet be with you
I only do that in EVERY boss fights
I knew the game existed, but only recently picked it up, when it was on sale on steam ab I have to say, it was such a blast! Really good game, really well executed open world-ish game 😊
I was initally only going to get Survivor but I saw Fallen Order in a different store so I got it there too
Hey gameranx! Just started playing Jedi Fallen Order and I must say, as a EldenSoulsBorne veteran (that's not a thing yet but it's coming), I was, and still am, pleasently surprised. I heard it was good and decided to give it a shot and wow! The gameplay is usually very tight. I'm not the best at parrying so I had to lower the difficulty (haven't played Sekiro yet) but even so, I find the challenge to be very satisfying. Anyway, thanks for the tips Falcon!
Waiting to respawn in Jedi Fallen Order got me like ⌚☠️
git gut!
@@dieritze4185 More like "Get SSD"
@@yienmaster04 More like... The game is only respawning me a few hundred feet (if that) from where I died. There's no logic reason for it to sit there and reload the entire fucking level for a respawn. No other modern game that I've seen has taken that long with the exception of GTA Online, but the game has its reasons for that. Star Wars has zero reason to reload like that.
True
It's Just Ryan big facts. It’s like 30-45 seconds every time and there’s no point
You're telling me that I wasn't supposed to go straight to dathomir and spend several hours working through the enemies
I went straight there it isn’t to hard got the double saber off the bat
It's like... 20 mins
Happy Lad I ran past them mfs😭
@@lucamanningdunmore537 you don't even need to go there to get the double sided lightsaber, you can get it on Borgano in the Abandoned Workshop
Yea I play on grandmaster
Watching this video now after I just played through the whole game for the first time 😂 and I have to say what an amazing game and great video really breaking down the best points and mechanics of it; I feel the developers got the perfect balance of introducing the mechanics without giving some lame tutorial at the beginning of the game that would totally take away from the story and over all feel of the entire game. Luckily they hint on the player to take their time and explore levels and learn how to achieve new skills. Great video and I’m glad I watched it only now because the game delivers a pretty natural and fluid feeling first few missions and with some patience the player can pick up on everything that makes the game great and become immersed in an amazing Star Wars adventure
And what i want to mention is that you have everytime the choice what and when you want to do what...the game isnt giving you a 1. 2. 3. List, i played just 6 hours and just 2 days till now, but i really love it man...
The first stim upgrade actually is found on the first planet, in the cave where you learn the wall jump and guarded by an Oggdo, but you need to reach it from above (the crate is on an upper platform), it doesnt require upgrades, you just have to explore a bit!
There's actually a lot easier way to get the double sided lightsaber. Once you can Force Push, go into the cave thats right under where you land on Bogano. Once you push the giant ball into the socket, a stim chest and a workbench where you can get the upgrade will become available.
I didn't get an upgrade when I did that
It also takes longer than to go to dathomir
You can actually just push down a bridge with force push. You should remember it on first time, but it s on the map in green. There’s a chest right after the bridge, then you just follow the path and there’s a room with a bench and you immediately get it. So much easier than dathomir
@@radstaz2029 No joke just now playing this game got to Dathomir said screw this planet and took off to the main mission planet after
Now gonna try this
Yeah when I played this for the the first time ever, I got the double-sided upgrade on Bogano at the workshop. There was a cutscene too when you find Eno Cordova’s emitter and Cal adds it to his lightsaber.
Going to dathomir and actually killing the enemies gives you a lot of much needed XP in the beginning of the game
Plus that big boy right at the start is fairly easy once you get the parry timing down, because after 3 parries you can insta game end hin.
@@callmequaz9052 I am just unable to get the timing parry on Grand Master Difficulty. Like, unable. I started to play in Master difficulty and I found the game too easy.
I need just the perfect balance of Master and GM for parry timing :)
@@callmequaz9052 How the hell do you parry him? I can easily parry the humanoid enemies, but animals give me a really hard time. The timing is so weirdly late
@@lred1383 it just takes practice. I played a lot of Dark Souls, so maybe that helps because parry times can be hard to get used to for some enemies there, but for the most part every enemy has a tell that indicates when you should parry. On lower difficulties it's more forgiving, but on GM you have to be very precise. I dont remember the tell for this guy, but I know as soon as he begins his swing, you have a choice to either dodge, or parry. You'll take too much guard damage blocking, and when you do parry he will counter very quickly after. To parry the counter, I think you can see a slight wind up before he lunges again.
If it's too difficult, I think he often leaves himself open after attacking because of his over aggressive lunges, so you can just keep dodging and whittle down his health, blocking if you feel like you cant dodge in time.
@@RaevenKS mate, I struggled alot on GM. I'm the same, after learning the game, Jedi Master wasnt too bad. Hard, but fair. GM is quite a leap on challenge though, you need a really good understanding of the game to survive.
I just started last week as I upgraded my gaming laptop. Already finished in Story mode now doing it in Jedi Knight level. Kind of entertaining (not mentioned some annoying parts of it). I love it, and I just need a discount price for the Jedi Survivor part.
5:09 yeah, dying in the tutorial is actually quite common, as you have no way of healing during the 10+ minute set piece, so all damage you take builds up over time
Falcon: *You don't need to fight the enemies on Dathomir*
Me: Years of academy training wasted
Kris Hisakawa I probably died more on my first trip to dathomir than in any other part of the game.
