@@superunknown2812 i actually found the map to be one of the better aspects, really easy to figure out and move around and the gold, red and green blips on objects on the map showing the places you either can now access or can't get to yet and objects in the world you can now interact with. That being said, I really don't like the whole "get (unimportant thing) to get (unimportant thing) and then go back and forth like 17 times, witness the power of a very competent game Dev team and enough money to fund a large charity for a year on literally like 3 maps, and be at least moderately frustrated your entire first playthrough. Tip: most bosses (and some of the Purge Troopers) can resist your Force moves on neutral. Using a Force move on a boss in the middle of their attack animation will usually do the trick, and it knocks their stamina bar to zero as if you've done a parry.
Yeah a new game plus would have been nice. For some reason the bounty hunters will not spawn in my game so I had to start a new playthrough from the beginning
Usually I would agree. But the game is so based on collecting rewards and upgrades as you progress, once you have unlocked them all, the only thing really to do go around killing enemies for no reward. Basically, you can do that now. It would have been fun to start over with all of the abilities, but then the story becomes pointless. Anyway. Not knocking your opinion. I typically love new game+.
@@steodoyne Completely agree. Once you unlock a location especially. If you want to complete all areas, chests, and secrets, it is a bear to travel around post game.
Another tip would be you can dodge and it will be a lot cleaner when you only tap it once. No need to double tap to roll unless necessary. It looks more like a real Jedi right rather than rolling every 2 seconds
ya but so many attacks are very wide sweeping so the basic dodge is not very useful for most encounters i find just on basic troopers. also many attacks are not also wide swiping but forward swiping so dodging backwards still lands you in the strike zone many times. this is why most people just double dodge roll because it is effective 98 percent of the time.
@@guitarman0365 That's what I did however you can precision dodge and hit an arrow key to move out of the way of a forward attack without rolling, which opens up more opportunities for a counter attack. You can even slide around your opponent and get behind them while doing it repeatedly.
I have a love hate feeling about ‘no-fast travelling”... i hate having to find my way back because im ready to move on to the next thing but i love that it forces me to have to think about finding my way back like if it was real... however! I dont see why that ship cant pick me up if i call them when im above ground like it picked me up escaping from the 2nd sister... thats kinda ridic...
@@GamingWithAbyss or like certain docking points where they can pick you up, because it wouldn't make much since for them to be able to pick you up in like a underground imperial bunker or a zeffo tomb.
Yeah me too. Turned the difficulty down before I smashed my controller to pieces then had to turn it back up. Seeing as you can't even open the chest it's guarding until you get the scomp link later in the game, I'm guessing you're supposed to avoid that fight right at the start.
I am so happy others had this problem. I am playing on Jedi Master level and that thing had me questioning my decision. Easily 8-9 deaths before I got lucky with a good timed parry. I was thinking if this part is that hard, Im in trouble.
I like the fact that u can explore or na , they dont hold ur hand and give u every answer , and u can make a wrong decision and u just have to die a thousand times playing and getting the timing down. I'm just getting started but it's very challenging and fun.
@@GamingWithAbyss me too man me too like how Witcher 3 did just different areas to explore and items granted blood and wine was 20 bucks but for 30 hours of gameplay I'd gladly
i have a huge tip i found out by accident when playing. for the sliding sections hold forward on the joystick dont keep it neutral. everyone seems to complain about how easy it is too lose control when sliding well it is but not when you hold down the joystick. i am able to pretty much slide completely straight when i want too without weaving from side to side always have to try and counter steer which lands you into trouble from falling off the sides easier.
7:57 there is actually 1 point of no return: In zeffo, in the imperial excavation, there is a laser door that BD-1 activates when you fight the second sister (just before you enter the tomb). This door can only be deactivated from inside the tomb out, which the game doesn’t let you do due to a slide. But, locked or unlocked, this doesn’t stop you from completing the map 100%, the game just doesn’t count it 👍
I honestly wish there was a harder difficulty. Jedi Grand Master was a little lack luster in my opinion. Don’t get me wrong, there was some challenging bosses but that was mainly because of their annoying move set *cough Trilla and Malicos”
8:45 I actually find it better to get better physical attacks early because it’s how you gain more force and it makes it easier to attack and defend against harder enemies
@@GamingWithAbyss I'm pretty sure it's not supposed to be unlocked story wise until you go to create your lightsaber and choose your crystal, because after the fight with your former master you only break half of your saber even if you have the double sided one, so I'm pretty sure story wise you aren't supposed to get it until Ceres saber but it is unlockable earlier if you look
If you can wait until you get through thw first part of zeffo. You can go back to boggano and get the double bladed saber from the workshop pretty early on.
I got the double bladed lightsaber from dathomir by accident because being the noob I am I never realised that the campaign continued on zeffo and thought It was on dathomir
Curtis Martin no it’s fine to discover it early on in the game as u can use it for longer, however although I had it earlier on I mostly used just a single blade throughout the story.
You have to progress about 80% of the story to get Double jump. Meaning 20% of the collectibles require (you’ll definitely benefit from) double jump. Wish it was an ability you go and “get”
I found that stupid that double jumping or "jedi jumping" was a F o R c E power they literally had one good idea and that was seeing the past but thats the max amount of original youll get and you cant even control it really or even see.
Personally, I think it’s much more rewarding getting the lightsaber upgrade on Kashyyyk after you ride the big bird. It’s cool getting 2 of those rewards in a row
Gaming with Abyss its probably on purpose because i have the feeling its one of the harder planets based off getting my ass whooped by the warriors lmao, still got that double saber thoooo
Lmao yea those night brothers were a pain in the ass. I had to turn my difficulty down from Jedi Grand Master to Story Mode because when you had to wall run and jump on that branch the two soldiers that were waiting at the top kept shooting me and knocking me off cause they was so damn aggressive. I was really hoping for a red lightsaber too when i went there but found out shortly After that you couldn’t get one unfortunately. My plan was to wear all black and have a red lightsaber but purple easily substituted the red one
The video messed me up. I thought it was going to be deserted but no. The spiders were a mess. Then the night brothers had me questioning my basic video game learning ability haha finally got the dual saber and moped out of there. Then encountered zeffer
If you can do Jedi Master difficulty you can do Grand Master, the only thing it really changed to me was the fall death damage, and certain areas with too many ranged guys. Overall there were only maybe a couple truly bullshit areas in the game on that difficulty, but it was never too bad. If youve beaten and liked Sekiro, you really should play on grand master imo.
People might know this but, if u are struggling with the droids that accompany a certain group that “surprises” u occasionally on each of the maps. Use only the double sided lightsaber to reflect back the blaster bolts, which will quickly chips away at their health
Im actually just getting around to being able to play it tonight and im pretty damn stoked. I saw it only had 4 and thought the same thing but everything I've read says its pretty big
You actually don’t need dathomir for the dual bladed saber. After getting force push and freeze on Zeffo, go back to bogano. There’s a bridge you can push down, you should remember trying to get past it while on bogano first time around. If you don’t, just check the map, it’s the lower one. There’s a chest right after crossing the bridge, then just follow the path and there’s a bench where you can get the saber. So much easier than dathomir
I got an extra stim on Zeffo early in the game and thought I was so badass because I didn’t know there were any more, I thought it was a one time thing and I found it anyway
I really love the holomap, great navigation and well presented for showing different routes etc. I wasn't going to pick this up but glad I did, the exploration is top fucken shelf. I didn't even know there was a dual blade until I got it from bodgen or whatever it's called today. Also didn't know there was a double jump until today. Which explains the subterranean wall run to rope puzzle I couldn't reach (was able to get the one on top of the mudslide without it).
Actually the best thing to me in order to get the dual lightsaber early but still be coherent is just doing Bogano, Zeffo AND THEN, Cere tells you that Eno has probably hid some gear on Bogano and that Cal should take a look. So instead of going to Kashyyyk or even go on Dathomir just after Bogano, wait, I did Zeffo first time and then came back to Bogano and got the dual, Cal says "let's have a part of Eno with us" or something like that.
Hell yeah I did it by accident too 👌 I was looking at a different video showing me the long ass path I would have to take on Dathomir and just couldn't be bothered with doing that. But because an exploration but this came as a happy little surprise 🤟
I think getting the double-bladed sabre on dathomir is a mistake, it’s a much better idea to get it on Bogano after going to Zeffo for the first time. By then you would have levelled up quite a bit and it’s A LOT easier to get the double sabre on Bogano than it is on Dathomir as you can imagine.
Yes. There is a ton of very tough enemies on the path to get the double-bladed saber. Plus, I hardly use it as it does way less damage than the standard saber. Double bladed only makes sense when you're facing a lot of enemies in very close combat at the same time.
Great tips! I just finished the game today and I will be using Gaming with Abyss' guide for 100% of the secrets. Two tips I would include: 1. Look for the increased lightsaber damage in the skill tree and try to get it ASAP. 2. Force pull + attack when the enemy gets close to you. This attack is so OP that I use it all the time. It's handy in particular against Storm Troopers and Night Brothers because it's either a 1 hit kill or it's going to pull the enemy close to where you can pummel them. It's not so great with Purge Troopers or bigger enemies, but for smaller enemies it's the way to go. You can even pull the enemies down off ledges and platforms to do this.
I don't care what anyone calls me. Fanboy. Apologist. Whatever. I just faced the 9th sister. This game has exceeded my expectations. There are time when I am frustrated by the map. But really, outside of that, I love this game. Not sure how far I am through it. So banking that my opinion probably will not change. I appreciate this video. Very helpful.
Dark Souks at least rewarded you HEAVILY once you defeated a boss and an area with amazing loot and XP. In Jedi: Fallen Order, you get nothing for beating bosses or areas but some ponchos. Only thing I hate about the game. There’s no satisfaction to beating something. No rewards. No cool hoods or outfits. PONCHOS.
People say it’s easy to get the double light saber... when you go there for the very first time and try and run straight to the workbench. Your getting shot and hit the whole time I died like 3 times before I actually got it
Just finished this game after buying it during launch. Platforming at first was such a hassle and time consuming at the beginning; it was no fun. It was very frustrating that I couldn't go through and unlock everything in one planet during the time I'm there. However, the gameplay dynamics grew on me. Platforming became really fun after I unlocked the double jump. The area in Kamino with the big bird was really fun. The recurring duo semi-bossish fights were also something to look forward to when expkloring previously explored places. I don't think I'd do the game a second time around, but I will definitely play the sequel if there ever is one!
Nice video! I've been a little frustrated with this game so far, mainly because of some the reasons you mentioned. I didn't know this was going to be basically Star Wars meets Uncharted. This game also reminds me of God of War in that there are areas that are inaccessible until you unlock certain skills, not that it's unique to God of War at all, just the style of it. Also I could do without the puzzles as well, but frustrating knowing that I'll have to return to all these areas again in order to get all the collectibles. Looks like they'll be about as easy as getting all the Riddler challenges done in Arkham Knight...that's a joke, that was not easy at all.
Lol don't remind me about the Riddler challenges. Yeah there's a little too much platforming in the game but they are going to make a sequel and hopefully they will improve on that
I went through the whole game lowering my guard and then raising it to get those timed parries didn't know you could hold and click (I figured that'd drop your guard)... Thanks for the tip. xD
1:15 the tip is good… I went there right ASAP on my first playthrough before Zeffo… However I think it’s a little disingenuous saying it will only take a minute or so to get the double lightsaber upgrade from leaving the Mantis on Dathomir. The enemies are much stronger than a fresh new game character here and it’s likely that if you try to run by all the enemies you’ll die at least a few times. I recommend at a bare minimum that you cut the shortcut rope you pass early on, meditate at the Meditation spot you run past to have a checkpoint to respawn at shortly after the rope following the cutscene with the Nightsister, and lastly unlock the door you pass that’s only unlocked on the opposite side of the meditation spot incase you get overrun by night brothers when trying to make it up the wall run room with the archers on the ledge shooting at you. I would say it will take you 5-10 minute minimum even playing efficiently. It took me like 30 but I took my time and kept a lookout for secrets and opened the chests a long the way. I posted this this long after the game released as I’m replaying it before Survivor releases next week and I imagine I’m not the only one either playing or replaying the game at the moment. Thanks for the tips and video.
You don't have to travel to Dathomir to get the double-bladed light sabre. First go to Zeffo rather than Dathomir, finish your first run there, then head back to Bogano where Cere says that Cadova left some goodies there. Go to the workshop above the flooded chamber where a bench with repairs to Cordova's sabre is and you'll get the double-blade. Dathomir is a death trap in the beginning.
Best 1 hit kill !! The upgraded force pull ability lets you lock onto almost any humanoid enemy and pull them to you. Hold Left Trigger until their throat is in your hand. You now have a short window to pres X and do a one hit kill. Plunging your saber through their stomach. With practice it works every time. And it feels so badass to pull off.
When I played this my first time around I stumbled upon the double bladed lightsaber on Bogano in the “Hermit’s Abode” my first time there at the beginning of the game.
Another trick is that you get more light when you hold your dual lightsaber in dark places, getting the new skill with your dual saber which is L1+ square is a good way to defeat hard enemies, also holding down square does a combo to switch your lightsaber from single to dual and dual to single, holding down parry button in front of multiple troopers shooting towards you with your dual saber, reflects all of them back :D even the BD 1 is great for combat once you unlock the upgrade to hack old enemy droids, there's also a good place to farm exp
It's funny from being a veterans dark souls player these tips are common knowledge and I did all these things on a blind playthrough. I just wanted to see if I missed anything. Great video!
I just finished Fallen Order. Thankfully I chose to go to Dathomir first and got my double blade. I was baffled on why you could go there so soon when there isn't much else to do until much later in the game
Yeah I wouldn't mind a new game plus it would have been convenient for me earlier when the bounty hunters glitched and I had to start a new playthrough
A follow up, bigger story, more interactive fighting, driving vehicles, flying ships, continued romance with witch girls, better light saber realism, maybe space fights? I would like to see more.
You can also get the dual saber upgrade by going back to Bogano after getting Force Push I believe. You go to the hidden workshop and get the upgrade. Great video. Subscribed!
Thank you I appreciate the support. Yes you're right you can get it there and I recently just found out you can get it after you get double jump from Kashyyyk
I just completed the Zeffo chapter of the game and I'm proud to say I figured out my way back without looking up a guide, took fucking forever but I figured it out lol
You can get the double sided lightsaber on Bogano in Eno Cordova’s workshop if you get force push and BD-1’s Scomplink upgrade on Zeffo and find his workshop. All of which is really not that hard.
Awesome video!!!! I’m loving the game and believe I’m almost to the end. I’ve been playing on Story Mode difficulty to see how it feels and though the enemies aren’t tough, I’ve still died quite a bit of times just from the environment lol, but still loving the game 😁
Just now playing this for the first time since it was on sale. It’s funny how there’s SO much exploration but with the lack of minimal/markers/fast travel it feels like they want to punish you for exploration. The amount of times I have had to take 10 mins getting back to where I need to go is ridiculous.
@@GamingWithAbyss Tonight was my first time playing it looking for upgrades. Worth it, yes but My god, if I don't have to ever go back there, I'm not. I did my due diligence 😂
I made a Collectible guide and it was an hour long because of all of the Collectibles you can get. I can't remember if you do have to go back there later on in the game
Biggest problem is doesn't auto-save even after a major boss battle. Also game doesn't tell you that you need to get as many skill point as possible to unlock all the Jedi powers. If not you'll finish the game before you unlock all the best ones. lol.
Lol I never had any issues finding my way around. I literally lucked out that the direction I went always took me where I needed to go. I even got the double bladed saber that way.
First game I get to use my Azeron Gamepad/analog movement with mouse. Its going to be a learning curve. But with all this special key movements during the lightsaber fights and the platforming my hand memorization is going to be top tier by the end of this game. Its so weird and cool after 25 years us PC gamers are finally getting analog movement + 26 keys, and a mouse with 15 buttons. No game to complicated no button unbound.
Hmm you can also get the double blade by exploring Bogano. Just wander around the dead guy's house and you'll find a work bench that gives you his old one to attach to your own.
If they do add new game plus I only want it for the lightsaber crystals, lightsaber parts and vehicle, droid and character skins. Because the game is set up like a "Metroidvania" having all the skills, health and force upgrades and force powers would trivialize much of the game. That being said I would very much enjoy sporting the Cyan lightsaber crystal through the whole game.
@@GamingWithAbyss I love the game and its story enough to do it but that doesn't mean I have the time. And having my personal cosmetic version of Cal, the lightsaber, BD and the Mantis available when I land on Bogano would be nice for a guy that works 50 hours a week and still manages a stream on Twitch or two. - Six
Cat and Six Gaming! What’s the point if NG+ if I gotta go get all my upgrades again? That’s how you know this game is just padding. The fact that the force abilities aren’t just add on but the only reason the game kind moves forward is annoying. Sekiro, I could have my resurrections and health upgrades and that didn’t make me feel like I was trivializing the game. Build a solid game that’s for fighting and platforming and you don’t have to worry about “breaking the game” with NG+
@@BonzerMrT If you want to run around being negative about the game that's up to you. I am having a lot of fun with the game. If your not why would I want to hear your opinion.
1. I NEVER knew I was getting the double blade early. I just always did this every playthrough. My bad, I don’t even know when you ‘normally’ get it either 2. I love this game, the effort that’s gone into it is amazing
There are definitely some elements similar to GoW. Personally I see more of Shadow of Mordor here especially when looking at fighting system. But generally it's a mix of some of the best elements from many games.
I saw a video saying that Fallen Order took every great aspect from all the best games. Platform/Climbing- Uncharted Meditation/Enemy Aspects- Dark Souls Puzzles/Tombs- Zelda World/POV- God Of War Minimap- Metroid But they do it so well. Honestly a great game.

I wish there was fast traveling back to the ship maybe a feature they could add once you complete the game
Finding back IRL is seldom this hard. It's a bad way to lengthen the game.
I like your idea. At least when you get to the surface, you should be able to call your ship
@@GamingWithAbyss or like certain docking points where they can pick you up, because it wouldn't make much since for them to be able to pick you up in like a underground imperial bunker or a zeffo tomb.
I think that giant toad misled my perception of difficulty of this game.
Yeah at first that particular enemy will throw you off. Later on in the game it's not that bad
I think if I had a physical copy of the game I would have snapped it over that toad
Yeah me too. Turned the difficulty down before I smashed my controller to pieces then had to turn it back up. Seeing as you can't even open the chest it's guarding until you get the scomp link later in the game, I'm guessing you're supposed to avoid that fight right at the start.
Just make sure you change the difficulty before you enter combat since you can't when you are in combat ( if you feel the need to do so)
I am so happy others had this problem. I am playing on Jedi Master level and that thing had me questioning my decision. Easily 8-9 deaths before I got lucky with a good timed parry. I was thinking if this part is that hard, Im in trouble.
I swear finding your way back to your ship on Kashyyyk, Zeffo, and Dathomir is harder than all the boss fights
yeah I wish there was fast traveling back to your ship
Nah kashyyyk is easy. Dathomir is easy after the tomb. Zeffo is hard
Theyre all easy, but Bogano... man I can never find my way back bcs of all those one way ziplines...
@@aydenbaas1609 you can get a bd-1 upgrade for ziplines. It’s found near the second tomb on Zeffo

Yes it's definitely a good game but it is somewhat short but it's a step in the right direction for their Star Wars franchise

i have a huge tip i found out by accident when playing. for the sliding sections hold forward on the joystick dont keep it neutral. everyone seems to complain about how easy it is too lose control when sliding well it is but not when you hold down the joystick. i am able to pretty much slide completely straight when i want too without weaving from side to side always have to try and counter steer which lands you into trouble from falling off the sides easier.
I'll try this thanks.
Good looks
I don't understand, I've never fallen off of a slide, how are people doing that 😂
Anyone else get their double sided lightsaber on Kashyyyk?
On my second playthrough I got it from Kashyyyk
I got it right before fighting the ninth sister
I got it on Bogano
iShieff where was it?
Yeetus Cleetus. Where was it?
7:57 there is actually 1 point of no return: In zeffo, in the imperial excavation, there is a laser door that BD-1 activates when you fight the second sister (just before you enter the tomb). This door can only be deactivated from inside the tomb out, which the game doesn’t let you do due to a slide. But, locked or unlocked, this doesn’t stop you from completing the map 100%, the game just doesn’t count it 👍
What do you mean no return?
You can take the elevator again.
To enter the Tomb again you can do it from the exit side.
I love the choice of difficulties for everyone to play their way and experience a cool game
Yeah there's a good range of difficulty
I honestly wish there was a harder difficulty. Jedi Grand Master was a little lack luster in my opinion. Don’t get me wrong, there was some challenging bosses but that was mainly because of their annoying move set *cough Trilla and Malicos”

I actually find it better to get better physical attacks early because it’s how you gain more force and it makes it easier to attack and defend against harder enemies
Dathomir looks so much easier without enemies, unfortunately when I went there I had a crowd chasing me like they thought I had Justin Bieber with me.
I usually get the double-bladed lightsaber in Bogano because I always appreciate the dialogue that comes with it
Story-wise that is where you are supposed to pick it up
@@GamingWithAbyss I got it in kashykk before Ninth sister boss fight
@@GamingWithAbyss I'm pretty sure it's not supposed to be unlocked story wise until you go to create your lightsaber and choose your crystal, because after the fight with your former master you only break half of your saber even if you have the double sided one, so I'm pretty sure story wise you aren't supposed to get it until Ceres saber but it is unlockable earlier if you look
@@thatonekidnooneknows7891 even in cutscenes at the end i only have a one bladed lightsaber, when im out of them i have a double bladed
If you can wait until you get through thw first part of zeffo. You can go back to boggano and get the double bladed saber from the workshop pretty early on.
Yeah a lot of people has mentioned that so I covered that in my part 2 video. There's actually three places that you can get the double blade

That's basically how I found it. I decide to go to dathomir First and explorer
I did the same thing
Is it bad to get the double bladed lightsaber on dathomir early on?
Curtis Martin no it’s fine to discover it early on in the game as u can use it for longer, however although I had it earlier on I mostly used just a single blade throughout the story.
I got on dathomir because that’s where maul is from. Felt like finding his saber.
You have to progress about 80% of the story to get Double jump. Meaning 20% of the collectibles require (you’ll definitely benefit from) double jump. Wish it was an ability you go and “get”
Yeah you do get it late in the game
I found that stupid that double jumping or "jedi jumping" was a F o R c E power they literally had one good idea and that was seeing the past but thats the max amount of original youll get and you cant even control it really or even see.
@@cyber1ifeconnor exactly could've done force jump witch makes u jump higher than double jump
@@cyber1ifeconnor Still better than the Devil May Cry series forcing you to pay for it lol.
Personally, I think it’s much more rewarding getting the lightsaber upgrade on Kashyyyk after you ride the big bird. It’s cool getting 2 of those rewards in a row
Bogano is where you're supposed to get it for the extra story dialogue
Hey, you know the giant frogs (idk their name), well when they strike you with their tongue, you can force pull it. It works
Yeah if you upgrade your Force pull you'll be able to yank out their tongue and cut it. That will eliminate one of their unblockable
@@GamingWithAbyss cool. Thanks for the tip
I got lucky found the double quick. Geeked out about Dathomir being in the game and explored as much as I could when it first unlocked.
Yeah too bad you can't really explored everything early on until you get the double jump
I was really hoping for a red lightsaber too when i went there but found out shortly
After that you couldn’t get one unfortunately.
I got the double saber from bogano
Bruh I wish I knew there were so many more stim crates.... went into the final few big boss fights with only about four and got demolished 😂
Yeah there is 10 in total you can have
Cameron DeVries I only had 2. 😂
i havent used stim crates yet are those ones rechargable after using?i am afraid it would run out.
@@neolee203 don't worry if you meditate you will get them back
I had collected 8 before the final fights. I explored more than playing the main game. Hahaha
Good to know because sekiro was one of my favorite games from early this year
I found grand master to be impossibly hard earlier in the game for some reason, but it definitely gets easier later on which seems backwards
You: you don't use your lightsaber 90% of the time.
Me in scary dathomir ruins: *ignites lightsaber*
People might know this but, if u are struggling with the droids that accompany a certain group that “surprises” u occasionally on each of the maps. Use only the double sided lightsaber to reflect back the blaster bolts, which will quickly chips away at their health
When I saw this game I was like, *huh 4 planets ain't much* but man was I wrong
Im actually just getting around to being able to play it tonight and im pretty damn stoked. I saw it only had 4 and thought the same thing but everything I've read says its pretty big
Yeah it's like saying having four homes in four different neighborhoods isn't much.
You are screwed if you get the double bladed sabre before you get the double jump. There is no way back without the double jump.
I finish the game with 2 sims got the dual lightsabers later and I didn’t you can get more stims and dual lightsaber early
Yeah there's up to 10 stims you can get
I’ve gotten 9 stims and everything maxed with the duals lol
I got an extra stim on Zeffo early in the game and thought I was so badass because I didn’t know there were any more, I thought it was a one time thing and I found it anyway
I only found my third stim near the end of the game by just exploring bogano
I got the dual lightsaber right away and didn’t use it
I really love the holomap, great navigation and well presented for showing different routes etc.
Yeah the game is good and it was a surprise to me. Definitely a step in the right direction for their Star Wars franchise
Hell yeah I did it by accident too 👌
I was looking at a different video showing me the long ass path I would have to take on Dathomir and just couldn't be bothered with doing that.
Really cause I’m about to get the game
Two tips I would include:
Yeah the force pull and attack animation is probably my favorite
John II how do you get the force pull

I just faced the 9th sister. This game has exceeded my expectations.
There are time when I am frustrated by the map. But really, outside of that, I love this game.
Not sure how far I am through it. So banking that my opinion probably will not change.

Yeah the map can be frustrating but since I've been over this map a dozen times I pretty much have it memorized.
@@GamingWithAbyss I envy you there. The world design is fantastic. I just fight the map sometimes. It is satisfying when you figure it out.
You will not be disappointed in the slightest, it only gets better from there. The ending is intense
PONCHOS.
The day you can find satisfaction in accomplishing something without shiny virtual rewards telling you good job, is a good day.
The day you can shut the fuck up, is a good day.
ive beat it twice already but i wish they would add an arena mode where you can re fight bosses
Yeah that would be nice
They just released an update where you can do exactly that
People say it’s easy to get the double light saber... when you go there for the very first time and try and run straight to the workbench. Your getting shot and hit the whole time I died like 3 times before I actually got it
Nice man just bought PS5 and fallen order was waiting to be able to play it on ps5 thanks for the info bro!
No problem 👍
Yeah there's a little too much platforming in the game but they are going to make a sequel and hopefully they will improve on that
I like puzzles and platforming in this game, though. The puzzles aren't obviously easy like other games and wish for more platforming.
I got the dual lightsaber on the starting planet plus 5 health stims after only going to zeffo
You can get it there but that’s super late. Dathomir is much early
Conky nah bro it’s literally after you get out of the tomb on zeffo it’s like the second chapter or mission

@@STARBUCKXD I'd like to know as well
1:15 the tip is good… I went there right ASAP on my first playthrough before Zeffo…
However I think it’s a little disingenuous saying it will only take a minute or so to get the double lightsaber upgrade from leaving the Mantis on Dathomir.
You can also get it from Kashyyyk right after you get the double jump
you need the scomp link first to get into abandoned workshop on Bogano or double jump/run UP zip line skill.
@@davidhernandez4156 no u don't. U only need the scomp link.
I got the double Saber directly after zeffo, before kashyyk
People saying the game is over in 10 hours while 10 hours later I'm still on zeffo
That's if you rush through the game but if you take your time Explorer get all the collectibles then it will definitely be longer
And it feels so badass to pull off.
yeah the animation alone is my favorite in the game
When I played this my first time around I stumbled upon the double bladed lightsaber on Bogano in the “Hermit’s Abode” my first time there at the beginning of the game.
I stumbled across the "Hermit's Abode" my second night playing... And I am NOT a gamer... But didn't understand customizing my blade, etc

Tips and tricks I wish I knew before I beat the game
First game I get to use my Azeron Gamepad/analog movement with mouse.
Its going to be a learning curve.
But with all this special key movements during the lightsaber fights and the platforming my hand memorization is going to be top tier by the end of this game.
Its so weird and cool after 25 years us PC gamers are finally getting analog movement + 26 keys, and a mouse with 15 buttons. No game to complicated no button unbound.
force pull than attack kills alot of the easier enemies quickly. wish I knew that one earlier.
Oh yeah it's one of my favorite moves besides pushing them off the cliff
Hmm you can also get the double blade by exploring Bogano. Just wander around the dead guy's house and you'll find a work bench that gives you his old one to attach to your own.
If they do add new game plus I only want it for the lightsaber crystals, lightsaber parts and vehicle, droid and character skins. Because the game is set up like a "Metroidvania" having all the skills, health and force upgrades and force powers would trivialize much of the game. That being said I would very much enjoy sporting the Cyan lightsaber crystal through the whole game.
Yeah very true and who wants to go and collect all that again

2. I love this game, the effort that’s gone into it is amazing
Only complaint I have in this game is the saving! Like please just let me save my progress whenever!!! Like I have class in 10 mins
You can force a quick save by using the meditate circles but as for a manual that would be useful

I got more of a God of war feel then I did dark souls and I’ve been playing the game for about 8 to 10 hours
That's a good comparison
Stig Asmussen made it so probably why. He made God of War 3
Im about 8 hours in as well, I feel like Im playing tomb raider or uncharted a lot of the time.
There are definitely some elements similar to GoW. Personally I see more of Shadow of Mordor here especially when looking at fighting system. But generally it's a mix of some of the best elements from many games.
I saw a video saying that Fallen Order took every great aspect from all the best games.
Platform/Climbing- Uncharted
Meditation/Enemy Aspects- Dark Souls
Puzzles/Tombs- Zelda
World/POV- God Of War
Minimap- Metroid
But they do it so well. Honestly a great game.
