    Had the hills for 7 months amazing bit of kit used every 3 to 4 days for a 4litre bottle or rifle fill and has been faultless British manufacturing at its best

    Hi, as you are a guy with an electrical background, I have a question.
    I have a 12v cigarette type socket in my boot, Is it possible to cut off the battery clamps and convert them to a round plug to fit said 12v socket.

    We are being spoilt, 2 videos in 2 days 👍, I was worried when I seen the chickens go out the gate 😂
    Anyway to the compressors, the BSA connecting to the battery, not if you have an electric car I take it then, nice small unit if you only want a gun filled up in the day time. Bit noisy if filling up in the night tho, nice quick set up on that BSA 👍
    The hill, like the idea that you can top up your tank, bit more set up on the hills but a lot quicker to fill.
    Like you said depends on what you want to fill, I think I would go for the hills as I would just use it to fill my tank and then fill guns from tank, but nice to see a review of them 👍

    I suppose you could still use the BSA to refill the 0.5Ltr buddy bottle that Best Fittings do?

    the BSA compressor is a gx cs3 re badged and £150 added to the price for wearing a bsa badge 😂😂😂😂

      Almost, the BSA plugs straight into the mains, whereas the GX uses an inverter.

    Hills , hands down . I can fill my diving bottle . And run off that . And it's made in 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 by a reputable company that has a great after sales service.

    What is the price difference between the two?

      These are both available through our website at:

    Hills made in Sheffield? Or is it assembled in Sheffield, from imported Chinese components?

    • @rangecountryairguns5883

      They are made in Sheffield, which also helps with any after sales support as they know all the ins and outs of their pumps and compressors

      @@rangecountryairguns5883 Then they deserve to have customers from our country. Its very unfortunate that at this time they don't suit my needs.

    So the “bsa” compressor has no moisture filter or trap so fills you rifle with wet air, not good at all!

    • @PeakyBlinder
      @PeakyBlinder Год назад +1

      You need to put your own inline filter on it, it's very simple.

    • @Airgunfunrich
      @Airgunfunrich Год назад +2

      @@PeakyBlinder considering it’s a re badged gx cs3, for the extra £150 they are charging it should have that included!

    • @PeakyBlinder
      @PeakyBlinder Год назад

      @@Airgunfunrich true, but the cx also needs an online filter, the one in the handle is a fraction of what it actually needs.
      Cx is ok I converted mine to run off an 18v M18,
      I'm looking for something that will fill a dive tank though, that hill is looking good.

    Useful info thank you. But connect electric dead to live, ie connect item first and plug to mains last.

    Where's the BSA made? China? Hope not 🇦🇺

      They are made in China but with BSA's name and backing you know you're getting a quality piece of kit

      @@rangecountryairguns5883 no you don't. We are sick of this Chinese rubbish. It is cheaply made and mostly unreliable. I wouldn't feel safe working at those high pressures with shoddy equipment. It's a wonder that they are allowed by law to be used here. I'm a retired mechanical engineer.
